It's the quickest blow out I've ever done on my natural hair AND it's so easy!! Damn your ends are goals. So thick and full.
I think it's because she clipped her ends after her hair started really getting longer. She kept clipping until it was all together. #clippedendsmatter
You can tell with the first section, how straight the ends were, that she trims her hair regularly.

Yes!! I watched her hot oil treatment video a while back. Ugh. Changed my hair for the better! Complete 180. My ends used to be so thin; I had thick roots but you could see through my ends. But now my hair is thick from root to tip. Weekly hot oil treatments are key!!!

I've been using this blow dryer a little over 2 years now. For both me and my 7 yr old. We are both 4a/4b/4c throughout both our heads.
Absolutely no heat damage and no split ends. Even though I dont cut our hair. It's super soft and this is the longest my hair has ever been. Almost to my bottom. My daughters hair is to her bottom.
I used to stretch with no heat, dont have time now. I am a wife and homeschooling our 3 children. We are always busy. I'm so thankful for this blow dryer!
The bristles on ours are worn out, I'll be purchasing a new one soon.

How do best clean the brush after use? I find theres a little residue from the leave in/ heat protectant on the bristles once its cooled down

🤗 Hey Whit!! I’ve been using it only a bit longer than you (7-8 months) but at one point I used it every two weeks for about 2 1/2 months and no heat damage!! Hope this helps someone!

I’m all for monthly heat stretching and then protective styling. Since I started doing that I have saved SOOOO much time, hair and frustration detangling my hair and it’s grown exponentially because of it.
I've gotten no damage. My hair is literally the same length and density as yours. I've been using this since February. I didn't use it during the summer months, but I'm going back to it. I was blow drying every four weeks with it, no heat damage to speak of. I find that as long your hair is adequately moisturized and detangled, and you use a good heat protectant (I use TRESemmé Thermal Creations Protective Heat Tamer, nothing fancy) you really have nothing to worry about. If my fine strands can withstand the heat and bristles, it's a go for almost anyone.
I know this comment was a year ago, but I'm starting to learn how to look after my own natural hair (tired of braids and wigs) inbetween blow drys, how do you keep your hair I guess blowed out? Or do you not? Like do you moisturise it and comb it out etc?
Thats exactly what my hair stylist said as long as you wear a heat protectant your hair should be fine but I have a hard time believing her😒

After watching this video I went out and bought the hair dryer the same day! My hair is 4c and my daughter is 3b/c so I figured it would do great on hers. I had some heat damage last year so I was very nervous about trying this since I am trying to maintain hair health. Let me just say, WOW. Of course, as predicted it worked amazing on my daughter's hair and I was equally impressed with my own results. The most impressive part was my arm didn't hurt because it took less than half of the time to dry my hair. It didn't feel dried out (I used a heat protectant). Bottom line I am IMPRESSED!

I purchased the blow dryer back in December of last year but have been using it often in the last couple of months. Since my first time using it I now use a leave in and a heat protectant. I like to blow dry when my hair is not soaking wet. I like to start with low heat for a few strokes and while mainly using the cool setting. I will hit the section with a few seconds of hi heat as well for sleekness. I do go back and forth between the tension method and running the dryer through each section. After cutting like 12 inches of heat damage during my heat damage transition I’m scared of getting heat damage. This is my first time using heat to style in 6 years and my hair hasn’t suffered due to using the dryer. I still have my curl pattern and texture. I mainly have short pieces because my hair is growing back from postpartum shedding. I love this dryer.

Yup, that blow dryer definitely works much much better when the hair is almost dry or dry.. that's how I have been using it and it works wonders. .. I have used once a month for the past four months and my hair has no heat damage so far so fingers crossed it stays that way hahaha.. your hair is super gorg and look at that growth 😍😍

How about length retention? I normally do wash n go's but I'm tired of keeping up with the maintnence and also tired of shrinkage. I have this blowdryer and want to become a blow dry natural but I'm afraid it will mess with my length retention and curl pattern.
Ive been using it for about year I received it as a requested gift for my bday last year...I use it approx. once a month - once every 2 two months...I love it and I have not noticed any heat damage,,thanks for the update

Next time can u show us what hairstyle u do after u blow dry it? I know u have videos on styles with stretch hair, but i'm curious if ur hair looks sleeker or smoother after u style it in this state.
I know Whitney has her own styles, but I find that blow dried stretched hair is an AWESOME base for doing bantu knot outs!! It's also a good base for halo/crown twists & braids, and super dressed up updos!

I use it all the time on my bleached 3b/3c hair and ive never seen any heat damage!! My hair reverts back to curls as if it never happened and doesnt feel dried out or rough.
My hair is typically really sensitive to heat damage like one flat iron pass in a year had destroyed my curls but I've had no issue with this brush and I do it once a week

I'm pretty sure this won't work for my 4c hair. I can't get it detangled enough before blow-drying/brushing. I'd have a ball of hair after doing that. I'm pretty sure I heard my hair laugh at her quick detangle with that comb.

@@JaneileCudjoe I have 4c hair if you twist your hair and let it dry. After it has dried it is much easier to go through with it with the blow dryer. I tries to dry my hair wet and I did not come out that well until I fully let my hair dry the next wash cycle. It came out like her hair in the video. I hope this method work for you.

Awesome video! 🙌🏽 I’ve been using that exact duo for almost one year, since January 1, 2018 (the Revlon paddle brush dryer plus the Aveda Brilliant heat protectant) and I have experienced zero heat damage! My #anomtip (as you mentioned too), is to start on clean damp hair, never soaking wet hair. I use the #aquis turban & towels to plop the majority of water and excess product from my hair before beginning a blow out or any heatless curl former set. Your hair is flawlessly gorgeous sis!!! 🍃

I have been using this brush for over a year and I love it. I probably use this at the most once a month and I have not experienced any heat damage.
I've had this dryer for half a year now as well and it's amazing. Definitely easier to use than the normal ones. But thanks for the tip because my process toked so long to dry but now I know that I need to basically air give it time to dry a little before using the brush. Thank you for the great tip💕

I’ve been using this for two years, and use it all the time when I wash my hair because I’m low porosity. I don’t experience breakage at all. And I wear my hair curly also. I love using this blow dryer because it’s so easy to use than the ordinary ones.

Foggy Lenses I use ORS Olive Oil Heat Protection Serum. It works really well with my hair. It leaves my hair soft after I blow dry it.

Yes, I bought this hair dryer and it's gold. Love it!! Really works. Takes the pain out of spending several more hours on top of the hours you already put into the preceding steps lol.

I just used the blow dryer for the second time. No heat damage. I used it for the first time six months ago. I love it. Haven't blow dried my hair since 2016 (because of heat damage).
I was using it to blow dry my hair like maybe once every month or two, my curly hair was ok because I was deep conditioning but it did seem a little dull after a while so I’ve been taking a lil break from it but I still have it and will def use it if necessary. What I wasn’t doing were protein treatments so definitely keep up with The brand Aphogee or whatever. Because it is an effective blow dryer you want to make sure your wash day routine has a moisture/protein balance. So keep a good protein treatment that you like on deck.
I’m so in love with this dryer too. I use it with the Design Essentials Agave & Lavender Moisturizing Blow Dry & Style Primer and my blow outs are soft, silky and smooth.

The variation in hair across people is just wild. Like, her very small amount of leave-in per section would be more than enough for all my baby-fine hair. And as everyone else has mentioned, the fullness of her ends is incredible.

I been using it for about 6 months, every 2 weeks and i havent experience any heat damage. I use argen oil and curls blueberry bliss oil as a heat protection and it does my hair wonders
I love this blow drying brush! I have been using it since March and I haven't had any setbacks. You just have to use heat protectant as you do with any heat process, keep your hair moisturized as any normal curly should, and be careful when using it. Like all tools, improper use can lead to damage. And congrats you are seconds away from a million!!!

After figuring out just what you said about drying the next day on damp hair, I love my recliner dryer brush too. I haven’t been using it long so I am trying to avoid heat damage also. So far so good.
