Jess I’m waiting for a breakdown of the pool noodle edge reinforcement method 😁

The rolled poster should be tied enough (or tube large enough) so that poster doesn't touch the tube. Newspaper or bubble wrap at both ends. And once closed, shake it slightly to ensure that poster doesn't move. Last, many countries have banned or strict law about import of plastic and plastic bags, avoid plastic in such case.

But how do I get a rolled poster with no paper sheet or plastic wrapping OUT of a cardboard tube??? 😢

Two finger method. You put your index and middle fingers in the tube inside of the inside of the rolled poster. Then you splay your fingers until they make contact the poster (try to get one finger aligned with the edge of the poster that runs down the length of the tube) Then carefully turn your hand (keeping the finger edges in contact with the poster) until you’ve got the poster turned in on itself to a point that it is smaller in diameter than the inside diameter of the tube. Then just carefully pull out the poster a little at a time using your two fingers to keep contact with the poster. Once the top edge of the poster is past the edge of the tube you should be able to carefully grab it with your full hand and slowly work it out.
It’s the same method used to get posters (the ones we hung on our walls as kids) out of the plastic tube in which they were packaged.
      Hope this helps.
      Works for me every time.
