My beautiful wife Leanne passed away on 20 June 2022 after a short battle with cancer. She left a list of songs to be played at her Celebration of Life - I believe she left this song for me, to give me comfort. It brings the tears every time I play it, but also lots of comfort - she knew me only too well! A beautiful, haunting but comforting voice, and such simple but powerful words.

This amazing woman's voice is so calming. It really helps with my combat related PTSD. I've listened to her music since I was 18 and I'm 42 now still listening.

My home was my combat zone. My last husband a Veteran too, almost beat me to point of death in 2001. I re enlisted in 2002-2007.

This song was released a few months after my mummy passed, and the lyrics really comforted me during my grief and solitude which lasted allot longer than what many consider normal. Her music especially this song helped me with my healing and sadness and grieving...I never felt so lonely and disconnected with the word until the day I lost my everything-my mother - a motherless child alone and lost is how i felt at 40. Always an Enya admirer ❤keep making music keep making the world a happier place keep nurturing us that are in pain
Grief doesn't follow some nonsense schedule. You take the time you need to heal and if anyone gives you static tell them to go play in traffic!
My Mom passed a little over five years ago now, and I still grieve for her, along with all my loved ones, including pets I've lost over the years, and I will probably have some degree of grief for the rest of my life.

I also thought of my grandma when I heard this song. I'm very close to her and she's the person dearest to me. I was very hurt when she passed away.

My grandmother passed away just last week and I heard this song for the first time today. As a child, my grandmother provided a safe and loving space for me when my mother could not. I discovered Enya's music around the same time I entered foster care and I bought every release for the peace and wonder it brought me. To hear this song now and to read these comments mean a lot to me.
