What a great extension, I had no idea something like this was available and luckily just stumbled across this video. I am currently a student getting an associates and certificate in architect drafting and technology and pursing my bachelors in architecture next semester so this will definitely be a tool I could utilize. It was a great video and explanation. I am going to download the extension and show some of my professors so maybe they can learn it and teach the future generations of students. Thanks for the great video.
First of all thank you for the great video. I have been playing with this extension and I have a problem that is driving crazy. I frame all my walls, opening, t corners and corners and when I click ok the studs and the wall is half is outside and the other half inside the walls. I most be missing something in my setting. Do our have an answer for this. i will appreciate if you get back with me on this. Thanks in advance.
i have a student license. is there a way to activate or install this extension/ add-in? how does a person learn to use the software if it is incomplete? does autodesk know that students do residential buildings and wood frame too? or maybe i need to do something to activate?
All the studs I generated were out of place, stud headers were poking out left, and stud lengths were poking out right, I just spent HOURS putting them back into the wall manually, such painstaking work, but I hope Im happy when Im done.
2 big problems I have with this ext. A. I My cripple studs go through my doors and windows. so does the blocking, sill plates, and headers. B. I can't extend the wall to the roof after making a roof with this. OTOH if I make my roof before framing then I get an error message.
Open the "Visibility/Graphic Overrides" window. You can achieve this either by using the shortcut VG or by going to labels View / Graphics / "Visibility/Graphics". On this window, you control the visibility for the current view. So open it while working on a 3D view. Then on "Model Categories" scroll down until finding the category "Walls". On that very row, click on the column "Transparency" and give it a value of 100%. Accept and accept and it should be done.
good evening! I wonder how much it costs the Wood Framing Walls Extension? You know let me know if you have the language in Portuguese Brazil? I'm waiting!

OK, what were the properties of the walls that CAD clip used to make the timber frames out of?
Where can I find this extension?
Does revit structure has these tirmber frame options?

is this type of extension available for Revit LT?
What a sensationally powerful extension. Any ideas on when/if Autodesk plans on producing a light steel frame version of this?
please how and where can download the wood framing extension
muito bom
