  • In this video we look at creating the timber frame stud walls using a curtain wall and a wall with plaster either side.
We adjust the colours of the timber and insulation from grey to give a more attractive view.
A door is added to the wall.
We delete some mullions around the door and use grid line to add new mullions back in in the correct position.

Hi, I have tried something simillar to this but cannot get i to work; i make a curtain wall with insulation, and then a wall with a core of a the same width as the curtain wall. When I then draw the second wall on the curtain wall i get the same warning as you, however the wall i snot place. I am new to revit and do not fully understand it, do you know why i can't replicate your approach? Best regards.

It is a tricky one to answer without being there as there could be many options... If you know someone local to you who could have a look that would be good or try asking on a forum that allows you to post pics or a short video showing the issue.
