Sorry for commenting on such an old video, but I appreciate the explanation on Crit Value. I've been chasing crit artifacts for a long time and still do absolutely terrible damage. I'm glad this clears things up. The only time I've had good luck on balancing Crit and dmg is with characters with alternate scalings like Candace with HP.
Raidou only worked in the beta when Raiden's burst did normal attack damage. When they changed it during the beta, they stopped working together according to leakers, however I have not seen any leaked gameplay footage proving that. HOWEVER, I think they should add that synergy, because according to all information in game currently, they should work together, despite Raiden dealing burst damage. Just add that specific interaction, don't change anything else.
@@popo_irl Again, reading comprehension issues. Electro MC & Beidou triggers upon normal or charged hit. Xingqiu & Fischl triggers upon normal or charged attack input. And finally Albedo and Raiden trigger upon damage proc which is why they can't use their skills against shields.

You don't need much if not any Atk% stats on Xiang Ling actually since she getting so much ATK from Bennet so you can prioritize just CV ER and EM rolls.
thank you for the video , Question : Would a c6 sara get any significant buffs for an Aggravate team since an Aggravate carry would benefit more from the Crit and Atk buff (since u can build more em on them) or her lack of electro application is gonna make her a cope option?
I don't use CV metric anymore. 2 metrics that I use: a) Raw damage considering downtime (ER reduces downtime). I use this when comparing the same character. b) Scaling all the useful stats to CDmg ratio then sum them all. I use this when comparing different characters.
Would you mind explaining how you calculate raw damage to downtime if a character (let's assume Rosaria, Skyward spine) is using Emblem of Severed Fate?
If you want the most damage just don't look at cv, em and er of the dps only, the artifact can be better or worse depending on your support. Here is a example, consider a Xiangling with with 190 er and 1600 atk and 75 cr and 160 cd but only 150 em on emblem set, a character like sucrose will give around 200 em, but If Xiangling already have like 350 em and 60cr and 120 cd, it will be wasted on Xiangling if it's on a vapourise team beacuse em have diminshing return at higher em.
@@sansthememe5316 Total Character Damage divided by Rotation Time The rotation time need to be tested. If the ER is enough, burst should be able to be cast off cool down. If not, some funneling is need to be done, thus dragging out the rotation to be longer
11:29 I think the questioner here confused Spread for Aggravate, in which case running Kazuha with VV at all in a Spread team is bad since he cannot increase the DPS of a Dendro unit safe for Sucrose with GD
Here is a question I'm trying to ponder, what of EM Kequing in aggrevate? She's being deemed as a good active to trigger with fischl in the back. But she's also low damage. As such would focusing on EM over ATK with better here? Also does aggrevate crit?
Yes Aggravate crit and scale with DMG% and Char level/crits. I think the best way to balance things with elettro driver like yae and keqing will be the new artifact set that will give a lot of atk and Em at the same time.
@@Giovanni-qu8rt that is very good to know... And omg.. so it's basically using both types of reaction calculations that's.... Crazy. Even still though, I'm thinking of how hu tao doesn't rely on atk% due to a horrible base atk. Not useless but EM or HP work so much better. So if a character's dmg is low wouldn't buffing it be less useful than buffing the EM side of the equation?
Attack % will still be really important for any non-EM scaling character, less so for the EM scalers like Yae, but it's still better in some cases. I think it will depend on your artifacts and the rest of your comp, but generally you still want high attack and around 200-400 EM. It will have diminishing returns above 400 EM because you will sacrifice too much attack and crit stats at that point. Whether you get that 200-400 from other characters or artifacts will be account dependent. I don't have an Elegy for the End, for example, so I can't make use of that party buff. Sacrificing a support character's stats for the instructor's 4-pc set is one option to take. I might do this with Collei or Traveller. Sucrose is a great EM buffer with VV, though I'm not sure if the ~200EM is better than Kazuha's damage boost. It might be, since the dendro character would also gain some EM.
there is a character you havn't spoke about that can be a pretty good electro character for dendro teams so.... what about kuki? she has a pretty decent electro application et has bonuses to be built with EM ( even if i personaly run her full hp/ crit crit damage) i know you've spoke a bit about it on your kuki analysis but with more intel now i'm pretty curious about it.

Can't say for certain until we properly play test and calc it. But stingless seems INSANELY good for aggrevate because of the EM substat and it's passive which both buffs her Aggrevate damage and motion value damage
my guess is they would be about the same for aggravate teams with some slight edge over Stringless. If you compare the stats they give they are equivalent to an extra goblet or circlet. 48% Skill dmg on Stringless vs 46.6% dmg on goblet when all of Fischl relevant dmg portions are skill dmg and 22% CR + 20% CD on Stringless equals to 64 crit value vs a 62 crit value on a circlet. However its better opportunity cost wise to pick dmg% over crit stats because dmg% is a rare stats. You can farm like 200 cv then a 64 cv gain would just be a 30% stats gain while gaining 48% dmg when you have only 60% is a 80% stats gain. The only difference left is the base attack, this is where stringless EM subs stats come in and Aggravate would convert those EM stats into talent dmg to make up on the base attack
CV was created to simplify the critchance vs crtdmg calculation as it is known 1:2 ratio is always the most optimal, which efectively means 1% of critchance equals 2% of crtdmg, so you can convert both into the same unit for simplicity, not the overall value of a build.
Thing is when you give players a single number and say 'focus on that' it becomes the ONLY number they care about. Similar to the focus on BMI or Weight in measuring health (which is useful as a piece of managing health but worthless if it's all you look at). If you are using CV to flaunt the power of your character you've completely lost your way.
Great vid as always, maybe I missed this somewhere but what artifact sets will be good for aggravate Fischl? 4p Gilded dreams, 4p TF, maybe a 2/2pc just to get decent stats sooner?
is shogun gonna do more damage in an aggravate team (including em buffs for example like the 4 piece 4 star instructor test ) than hypercarry ? If so . Should kujou sara be replaced by fichel or keep both at the expense of a teammate?
My xiao has 102/186 crit ratio, the only character i capped a crit rate without even trying. It makes me wanna try to pull for homa just for the sake of him.
Howmuch EM would be a good point to be aiming at for an aggravate Cyno? Let's say his passive would be around 0.1% DMG increase to his elemental skill.
I tried Raiden+Miko+Fichel with Dendro Traveler as on field DPS. It wasnt the best team imaginable mainly due to complications with optimal uptimes (and my Traveler being a little bit under developed) but it was actually viable, strong enough to clear abyss, and it was funny as hell, lightning EVERYWHERE xD The team also dont have shields or heal but you tend to either stun lock the enemy or just kill them so fast its not that big of an issue. For the bigger mobs, the food belt and dodging were quite enough to make it fairly comfortable. Dont get me wrong, Im not recommending this team as a permanent line up. But if youre bored and wanna mix it up a little for some fun, this was actually quite entertaining for longer than it probably shouldve been xD. Maybe its just me lol
When are you signing up as my prof in my university? The way you pass on knowledge to others is so detail and simple unlike my prof The way he explained stuff could very well lead me to use diluc in freeze team
Gilded Dreams is a hard no for Xiangling. With 170ER and Bennett burst Emblem gives 17% more non-vape Pyronado dmg, 6.3% more vaped Pyronado dmg, 17% less overload damage. Vape + Overload Emblem was still 0.1% ahead but you lose the 20% ER. Hu Tao is a toss-up. Vaped charge attack with Crimson Witch was 1.1% ahead of Gilded. So use which ever you get the best sub-stats on. Fischl no clue.
@@iprfenix Thanks, thats an answer with which one can work. Fischl I guess will depend on how aggravate works, maybe it's a tossup between em and atk substats and you just dont care which you get. Yae might enjoy more em though and maybe that finally gives her a niche in which seh's playable...

Keqing was sitting at 2.1k Atk and 200% CD and was doing crap damage. This should help.

It doesn’t matter if Raiden and Beidou don’t work together
Xingqui's ult rainswords work so it's weird that Beidou's doesn't.

You don't need much if not any Atk% stats on Xiang Ling actually since she getting so much ATK from Bennet so you can prioritize just CV ER and EM rolls.
thank you for the video , Question :
Would a c6 sara get any significant buffs for an Aggravate team since an Aggravate carry would benefit more from the Crit and Atk buff (since u can build more em on them)
or her lack of electro application is gonna make her a cope option?

@@rewer no lol, Beidou also works with her since she can snapshot, fischl also
@@lovecrisis619 they do snapshot her attack buff but c6 crit damage buff can't be snapshot
Keqing, Yae
I don't use CV metric anymore. 2 metrics that I use:
a) Raw damage considering downtime (ER reduces downtime).

11:29 I think the questioner here confused Spread for Aggravate, in which case running Kazuha with VV at all in a Spread team is bad since he cannot increase the DPS of a Dendro unit safe for Sucrose with GD
Yo Zajef, Geo gets a bit less bad with Dendro since off-field Geo supports/sub dps won't steal Dendro auras and ruin reactions.
Yes aggrevate reactions are like Vaporize and melt they crit

Now I'm curious about what's the best weapon for agravate Fischl
R1 harp or R5 Stringless
Can't say for certain until we properly play test and calc it. But stingless seems INSANELY good for aggrevate because of the EM substat and it's passive which both buffs her Aggrevate damage and motion value damage
Crit scales with motion value and aggravate reaction so, I think Harp is better. Unless you have god artifacts with Stringless.
dude i have the same question too!
Aggravate benefit more from crit, so you should choose harp
my guess is they would be about the same for aggravate teams with some slight edge over Stringless.
I had 70% critical rate and almost no ER on my xiangling 😂. She's basically ineffective
They will definitely remove that aggravate interaction with fischl.
This didnt aged well.
4p Gilded dreams, 4p TF, maybe a 2/2pc just to get decent stats sooner?
guessing 4pc gilded dreams gives fischl 80 em + an atk and em buff from second oz cast onwards
is shogun gonna do more damage in an aggravate team (including em buffs for example like the 4 piece 4 star instructor test ) than hypercarry ? If so . Should kujou sara be replaced by fichel or keep both at the expense of a teammate?
The problem when say who is better is you need a second better because abyss needs 2 teams.
My xiao has 102/186 crit ratio, the only character i capped a crit rate without even trying. It makes me wanna try to pull for homa just for the sake of him.
12:59 its over rated but i still take crit stat over a def stat
Howmuch EM would be a good point to be aiming at for an aggravate Cyno? Let's say his passive would be around 0.1% DMG increase to his elemental skill.
I tried Raiden+Miko+Fichel with Dendro Traveler as on field DPS.
It wasnt the best team imaginable mainly due to complications with optimal uptimes (and my Traveler being a little bit under developed) but it was actually viable, strong enough to clear abyss, and it was funny as hell, lightning EVERYWHERE xD
The team also dont have shields or heal but you tend to either stun lock the enemy or just kill them so fast its not that big of an issue.

Does aggravate activates stringless' dmg bonus passive ? Because if not then ATK% is just better on Fischl. EM is just a bonus.
Does 4 Thundersoother Keqing works in Aggravate teams?
how is aggravate work? is it going to be a character buff or enemy debuff? or.. the mechanic gonna be just like mona's omen?
I'd really like to know which chars will use the new Gilded Dreams set?
I'm espescially interested in Xiangling, Fischl and maybe Hu Tao?
