Because today commercialisation and business aspect has overpowered the primary reason behind movies! People no more want to watch movies because of relaxation and entertainment. Demands have risen in life. People have that bloody cellphone from where they love to watch nasty web series that has simply nothing to do with fun, entertainment and simplicity. I recall the famous words from a movie called Bawarchi that Rajesh Khanna sir said onscreen “ It’s simple to be happy, but very hard to be simple”. Life is no more meant for living.. it’s more of flaunt, earning money and fulfilling your greeds.
Because ind has forgotten all it tradition culture and indian think copying western culture and tradition is now what they should do to act like white people.
When hearts are devoid of complexities ,,conceit and falsehood..we get this typical Indian family,,. unparalleled master piece.. In contrast to today's web series where violence and intimate scenes rule the roost..

The movie is overall very good. It has an interesting and plain story.Almost every actor is a well-known film personality. Rekha is a major character in the story of the movie and she has really performed an amazing role.. There is also a lot of comedy in it. The events appear so beautiful on the screen. Nice to watch. . I decided to watch this film as a Rakesh Roshan movie. Came to know that this is directed by Hrushikesh Mukherjee only when I saw the titles. Hrushikesh Mukherjee , in this film, reminds us Basu Chatterjee. The same family set-up and humour. I prefer his films like Namak Haram,with a political tint. . I thought Rakesh Roshan was not a smart actor, after seeing his one or two movies. But,in this, he is smart. . Rekha is so young. I like her dance in genera. . In this movie , the dancing quality is visible, in a limited way, as her role permits.
Rekha really succeeded to have place and honour after leaving Amitabh Bachan. With Amitabh she always has second leading place, but with other heroes she always had first leading or top role in the films , so became even more successful in her career.
My most favourite scene is the 'Kaa Kaa' kauwa wala scene 🤣 my parents and i adored this one so much!! Thanks for sharing, I'd been searching for this gem for a long time

Is scene mei jo kaayda ki baatein ho rahi hai yaha ek chuk ho gai.......jab aap khaane baithte ho tab hath jodkar Annapurna maa ko pranaam karke pehla nivala khaate hai par yaha ghar ka mukhya sadasya apne maile chappal pehre huye they 😢 but im big fan of Hrishikesh Mukherjee Sir, ek sidhi saadi Parivarik movie jo har generation k logo dvara pasand ki jaaye yah ek aisi KHOOBSURAT movie hai ❤
