@@nickisingodddmode My frame will be here tomorrow, I ordered a LG I am 5'11" with 33.5" inseam. Gotta build my rear wheel still but my hub won't be here til Saturday😣!
I think it may come down to how nimble you want the bike. You would probably feel fine on either but med is going to be more nimble and a large is going to feel like a monster truck.
You mentioned you didn't want to spend too much...how much do you think you have into your bike build? In looking at it, I can't really think of anything it needs.
@@ianbirkettactionmedia412 surprisingly well. Blake Samson installed a 170mm on his Scout for the Megavalanche. I have a slightly more upright posture when I ride which offsets the lower sitting posture of the bike. Overall it went very well on the trail. I had a touch more wheel rise when climbing but it's nothing that was overly difficult to manage. I'm still trying to get my air pressure set correctly. During my last ride, iI only used 3/4 of the fork travel lol!
choose the scout, the sentier is overrated personally, I'm planning to purchase a scout pro with 27.5" wheels this year I was initially going to get the sentier vrx, but I decided to raise my budget a little and settle on nukeproof
i went XL on my vitus, because i was on the end of the large, those nukeproofs are much longer, do you feel a little stretched out, or is it a sweet ride overall?👍
@@ianbirkettactionmedia412 bet your eating up that travel on the trails then, I've I'm just building up a scout too and can't decide how big to go at the front
I would at least do a 140 since the geo of the frame is designed for a 140 fork. I've been able to climb a lot more now and I can tell it more when I'm climbing than when I'm descending. I feel hunched over and it makes a little harder to breath when it gets steep.
Sorry if I missed it but are you on the Scout 275 or 290? Also are you having any issues with pedal strikes? I've heard the low frame posture causes a lot of pedal strikes
Got a 2021 frame the same color on the way! Thanks for the vid man, great info!
What size frame did you get? What’s your height

Scott Hayes- Latin guitar do you think I’d be better off with a medium or large as a 5’10 32” inseam rider?

@@ianbirkettactionmedia412 cheers for the feedback man, yeah thinking like 150 on it just to make it alitte more aggressive up front
Yeah that should be good. I want to do a 150 eventually as well but forks are pretty expensive 😕
How much did you pay for the bike stock without anything else put on it
I paid 450 for the frame shipped

27.5 wheels, I get a strike every now and then but I also 175mm cranks.
I been on the prowl for one. I’m not having any luck. I need
A frame or a complete?

why does everyone think that trigger shifter is a good idea? If you use your pointer to shift then you have no finger covering brake.
Its a neat feature but the more seat time I get, I have noticed that I use it less.
They have warehouse in USA
Crc? I didn't know that.
