It's episodes like these that always impress me. By no means is Rocket League the most mind blowing game when it comes to camera tricks or out of bounds secrets, but even so, you and your team are still able to show off some really entertaining things, not even mentioning the games that actually do have some mind blowing things to show off. I love your guys' work, and I can't get enough of the content
Great job with the editing, and with the camera work, that one really had me fooled as being Sheezes work. The one thing that was good but not great was the script. Most of the time, it's basically identical, but there were things that, to me, didn't tingle your boundary break's bone like I was used to seeing. For example, mentioning that the fans kissing under that farm level actually had a poster on Salty Shores. Honestly, it's just a nitpick, and I'm sure that comes with time. Otherwise, it's an amazing job and the editing was just superb.
Great episode, the additional team members did great; absolutely no loss in quality and your narration sounds slightly more relaxed which I assume is due to having less weighing you down during production.

In the first year of this game being out , I was able to turbo boost straight down from top in Wasteland level and break under the arena. After that I was able to drive out of the arena and all around the outside. I drove very far. It was crazy how much of the level was able to be driven in without any glitches or weirdness until you got pretty far
I desperately want to see a really well done sequel for rocket league that allows for a full world to freely drive around and actually find some of the arena locations and activate the main rocket league matches
I began playing Rocket League two months ago and was thrilled to find that there had been a Boundary Break episode made of it! Great job to all the team involved, especially loved the segues back to finding the Moai Statues and the slow, smooth panning around the peripheries of each map.
Another easter egg with the moai if you (on xbox, on other platforms it's different) while starting up Rocket League hit up, up down, down left, right left, right b, a and then press the menu button, you will get the startup menu of SARPBC (RL prequal) and the title song of it. You will then also get an antenna named Moai which is ofcourse a beautiful Moai.
I LOVED that intro edit, it had me giggling even before the episode started. Great work guys, im happy to see how much this channel has grown since i started watching
Awesome. I rewatch alot of your videos just because there aren't alot of channels that do this. I explored EVERY inch of halo 2 and 3 when i was younger. Campaign and multiplayer. Keep up the good work!
You missed one I saw on Switch. On the streets slightly inland next to the stadium, there is a street sign indicating GPS coordinates. If you put those in Google Maps, it is the location of a sports stadium in Seattle, WA. Due to lower resolution of the Switch, it was harder to make out but it pointed right at the stadium when I tried it.
In salty shores when you go inside the boats you can actually see that the inside of the windows is textured yellow (at least it used to be when I first saw this) at the time tehre was no night version of that map but we (my friend and me) immedately called out that they are going to make a night version and simply flip the texture.

Although I dont play rocket league or arc squadron much, Psyonix is probably one of my faves devs. They always put out their A+ game with their map detail and graphical quality
Dude, I'm a developper working on AAA, the fact that the polygons are shown behind the building is not really an issue as we don't have the same issues with polygons than what we had before. Now vertex count is not that much of a problem now, but the textures and lighting are. Using multiple materials on distant objects are an issue, but when you see the way those building are made, really it's not performance heavy. you probably have as much polygon count in total for the buildings than a couple of car wheels and also one single material so not a problem. the game is pretty well optimized

I think they honestly did an EXCELLENT JOB, you can tell it was edited differently but it is done in such a way that it's not bothering or bad... it's an improvement.

I wasn’t sure if I was gonna bother with this video as I’ve played RL for three years and have gone out of a lot of the maps and briefly looked around. But I’m glad i clicked on it anyway because you found a lot of interesting stuff that I never would’ve seen! Great video.
I'm so bummed I didn't go work for Psyonix 😞 I got an offer at my senior presentation from them back in 2014 but went with a different company. I do enjoy my work now but it would have been so frikin fun to develop this game!!! It's so awesome!
Its impressive seeing one of my fav ps4 games outside the boundries, still pretty strange with all them statues, yet I think its a reference to one of the dev's, yet as for how it all looks outside the field of view, its just impressive.
I'll be honest, if you hadn't told us that the camera work here was done by other people, I wouldn't have known the difference, and I mean that in the most complimentary way. I've come to expect high quality content from this channel, so the fact that other people can match that high quality is awesome.
one thing I noticed when I explored Neo Tokyo is the dance club billboard had a short animation of a woman dancing like crazy, and up close her eyes weren't very distinguishable due to the SRT monitor effect, so it looked like she was wall-eyed and I found that very amusing.
Man, I was really hoping that you recorded all this while the Stranger Things map was still up. Seeing the mind flayer up close would have been awesome.
Can you please do one on Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled? I feel like there was a lot of details that Beenox was able to breath into the game provided with the better hardware. You can see only really so much in the levels with the provided camera, and people have already found a couple of hidden away stuff with out of bound glitches. You can probably even compare the levels between the remake and original.
The Moai is a recurring enemy in the Gradius series. In Gradius 1 on the NES, it acts as the main enemies in stage 3 and appears when skipping stages after special conditions are met. Gradius is also the first game to feature the Konami code, so using it in this game and getting a moai antenna is definitely a Gradius reference.
Let me just humbly say I try to stay off the social scene. But I gotta let you know how proud I am to watch another episode of Boundary Break! Those buildings you mentioned at about 3:35, it's possible that each building was instanced multiple times, with different instances rotated at different angles so they'd need faces on all sides.
The panoramic shots are really beautiful this time round. This new team is doing a really good job. I know another game that lets you boundary breaks using the replay camera is Overwatch so that might be something to look at.
Your next episode should totally be about the outlast series to see where they go after a cutscene, or what happens to npcs when you get a certain distance from them, I believe there’d be a lot of cool stuff to discover and who better that you to find them, anyway amazing video bro and keep up the good work.‼️
Something that you may not know is that during esports events they have a scripted camera that showcases different parts of the map as if the event is being hosted in that location. This is why many of the maps have more detail than you think they should.

Why IS the game so massive? I get a game of its type wont be small, but it always felt humongously larger than it should.

The biggest Boundary Break of Rocket League is the Boundary of Decency that Psyonix have broken with the Blueprints update last month.
