- Is the Nikon One Touch L35AF2 the 80s point and Click camera of choice?
We've mentioned Nikon a time or two on this channel, most recently when trying out the Nikon EM from 1979. Well, we're jumping ahead a few years to the mid 80's to check out this Nikon One Touch L35AF2. If you look past its wonky 80s styling, you will quickly realize that this is a solid camera with some great features. It takes care of all the exposure settings for you, and even has auto focus. The lens is a Nikon 35mm f/2.8 gem, that apparently takes nice photos. If you are a film photography enthusiast, it would be a good idea to grab one of these up before they get overly expensive. I've loaded this thing up with some 35mm film, so lets go do some classic photography with this vintage Nikon.
Good sharp lens and pleasant to shoot with. I really like mine.
I was very impressed with it, and can't wait to take it abroad next time I go.
A cousin's youngest daughter posted northern light photos from Pittsburgh PA. They were quite good.
I’ve been seeing those here and there. It’s crazy how far south people are seeing the lights.
Seems like your views do better when you don’t talk about world affairs. WEIRD!!! Lol
Its a strange thing. If I talk about current events, or world affairs, I will get a short burst in views on the video, and then it will just stop. Videos like this don't get the initial surge, but keep getting views here and there over time.
Cameras are more fun anyway lol
Where did you get your photos developed? I thrifted the same camera and got the same film to use!
There is a shop in Columbus Ohio that I go to called McAlister Photoworks. They are very good at having the photos developed and ready to go within an hour of my dropping them off. If you aren't near the Columbus area, there are quite a few companies you can send your film to and have the negatives sent back. I would check for local shops that develop film before going the internet or Wal-Mart route.
It looks like it could be fun taking photos in that area. I'm usually flying past when running up or down I77.
There are a lot of great places for photos out here. I have also been looking into film options if I were back in China. There are a lot of hobbyist photographers over there, so I assume there are options for getting film.
On Friday, I turned in two meads (4.3% and 5.6%) and an Eisbock at the State Fair. The results (judge sheets) are available June 3rd. I don't really know what I'm doing with mead, and I really want the feedback. The meads drink nice, but I have no idea if they are competition-level. Next up for the two meads will be the Mead Stampede in Oklahoma at the end of June.
I have never tried mead. I am going to have to make it a point to try some.
@@AmericanExpatDaily Most meads are higher ABV. I like the lower ABV as it is an easier daily drink.
