here here on the main gunk removal ….i always prewash my towels before putting them in the washer, it doesn’t take too much time to do it, even though it is an extra step. i can either let ‘em soak for a bit or throw em in the washer right away and the majority of road grime and detail chems have been removed 🤘🏽🐿️💨
That's facts bro!!! It all depends what needed. I like to consider this a decon wash for towels 😂😂. Especially if they have seen numerous and numerous amount of cars.
I enjoy this method as well for my deep cleanse of my towels. 💪 most of the time I'm straight rinseless in the bucket or soap after the wash. Then into my washing machine.
Great video, Soc! Soaking for a few day is definitely key! I’ll have to try this product. I just made a towel scrub bucket using the dirt lock dirt trap and the scrub pump. Getting great results and definitely better than just letting them sit in the bucket.
I just received some new drying towels. They are only going to be used for rinseless wash drying only. Keep them seperate from towels used with drying aids.
Definitely you can do that for real. 💪 that's a good option. For this demonstration it's a good way to deep cleanse and maintain your microfiber. For DIY or weekend warriors doing this once every couple of months doesn't hurt anything 💪.
generally if i cant throw my towels in the wash right after use i'll soak them in an APC mix or use dawn to clean them out as they sit in a pile and wait for a full load of micro fibers, Tide Free and a bit of vinegar in a normal cycle, heavy soil and extra rinse (1h 35min) cleans them right out with 45-60min on delicate in the dryer. no hydrophobic towels yet
i do the same. have them sit in rinseless wash and until i have enough MF towels for a full load, i then put them in the washer in MF detergent like rags to riches.
@@jefferrrson1x I'm sure a dedicated tower detergent is better but for me not being a pro detailer i can't get myself to spend the money on it when i can just use normal detergent i use on my normal clothes. With good washing techniques it'll be years before I clog up my towels. Only thing i don't like about Tide Free and Gentle is with continuous use it leaves a musty moofa smell in my washer. So i only use it on my towels and delicate clothes.
@@Juicefree I used to use rag to riches, with a little bit of APC like Koch Chemie greenstar and add distilled white vinegar in the bucket. Then in the washing machine the softener side I’ll add white vinegar. I tried rags to riches and let towels soak alone in there for a week and never broke down the sealants or waxes just the grime. So that was needed. I just wanted to test this out alone see how good it is. Took 5 days but got the job done on its own. Next time I will mix vinegar and a bit apc see how quick it breakdown my next towels.
Rinse and refresh works better then vinegar but yeah same concept except you dont want to add vinegar (low ph) with apc (high ph) together in the soaking bucket
I dont even use a washing machine. when I finish detailing, I just let my towels soak in a pale with the solution. Just let it sit, then rinse them out under my slop sink. hang dry.
I always just have a bucket of MF detergent mixed 1oz to 2 gallons water. Every time i use a towel i just toss them in the bucket and when the bucket gets full enough, everything goes in the washer. Luckily, seems to work.
I think I’m gonna try and soak immediately after use and wait till I have a load. Expecting a soap to clean a towel with setup ceramic that is made to last months is asking a lot. This soap makes the towels super soft though
Definitely. That is always the best practice! I'm not claiming let sit and clog your towels on purpose. I've had these towels for over a year. I traditionally always let soak in my rinseless or soap bucket. Sometimes life gets in the way and after many many vehicles they will clog up eventually. 💪💪 As you said. It makes them feel great.
Definitely. As for rags to riches I had to use distilled vinegar and APC to help breakdown the sealants in my towel. Which this one just 5 days nothing else added. If I added white vinegar or apc I think 3 days everything would have been gone 💪
Fellas u don't need to pre soak or buy special soap ur regular detergent will suffice and depending on what ph u have used on those towels u have use the opposite ph. ur end goal is to have a PH level pads, rags and etc. id spray distilled vinegar or dawn dishwashing soap before wash.
Absolutely 💪. That's what I typically do myself. This is my deep cleanse my towels and sometimes life gets in the way were I don't have enough room in my bucket to soak more towels. So eventually they get clogged. 🫠😂
Leaving towels in the detergent is the best. It also helps the main gunk not show up in your washer.... 🐐

@@DetailingMadeSimple Exactly! The acid wash and the washer is the alkaline part. That 2 step THANG!! 🤣🤷🏻♂️🤪💩

Appreciate you Rob for watching 💪💪. That's a great option too!!

Great video, demonstrating microfiber maintenance. I need pick up that microfiber detergent
Thank you my brother 💪💪. Crazy how much extra gunk was taken out
A very exquisite product another great one from ecp
💪💪💪
Is it alkali or acid detergent?
I actually do not know great question I will ask and find out. 💪

Facts. That's exactly what should be done. Leave it in your rinseless or dedicated bucket for pre soak. 💪
You could also try adding acid to your rinse cycle i think downy has a product called rinse and refresh

@ great to know. I will keep an eye out for that downy product you were telling me about.

Yes I have heard of many people that does this as well. 👍

Ima try that stuff by them bro they good people!!
You should 💪💪. Crazy how much extra gunk gets removed off of the towels

To avoid this, throw the towels in rinseless or MF detergent right after using them. Barely need to soak them.
