Great quality for that price. But the cable is gone after 5 seconds with pliers, so better when mounted with screws. But fingerprint scanner instead of a key would be a nice plus👍
Those cables are not so easy to cut. I have on just like it and I had my machine shop guy use various hand tools to try to cut it and it took the best and strongest at least 45 minutes to get it cut. No thief is going to work at it that long. The weak point is actually the lock, which a decent bolt cutter can get through in seconds.
2 questions. 1) do they make a model for the passengers seat or is it "reversible " ? 2) the manufacturer says to leave the chamber empy. Why? I always carry with one in the chamber. Thanks in advance for your answers
So I don't think they have a reversed model, but if it's on the other side they can push the button! As far as the don't have one in the chamber, they have to put that there for liability reasons haha. Just to cover their butt's, but I don't think many would not have one chambered
The light I don't think would be an issue. The Optic might not work, I would hate it to hurt an optic, and I haven't tried but one with it! So probably depends on the optic
I like the concept but in todays day and age with red dots and lights being prevalent I’m surprised the design overlooks these attachments. Would be an awesome addition if it accommodated these with the current configuration not worth the money
It won't work for all, but my friend had an optic and flashlight on his glock 19 and it worked great! I have a short video up with him drawing his glock with that setup somewhere on the page!
I know a guy who carries a bone stock G19 in his car. Don’t really need a red dot or light for most scenarios in the car and the cops will probably Get it for quite a while…. His sacrificial Glock. 😂
Thanks! You could put it on the passenger side, the only thing is the button to deploy it would be facing the other side of the box, but you can reach around the box and hit the button and have it ready! You'd just want to practice with that position so you are used to pushing it by hand and not going over the top bc it pops up!
Yeah for some free 5shit, but seriously. Apendex carry your stuff like an adult. On body, not a lame box or worse those silly magnets. (your vehicle is not a holster) 😳
Really like the idea but in California, you "can't" loaded the mag (mag with bullets in them) into the gun while transporting. But it's legal as long as you don't get caught.
Still easier to keep a loaded mag handy, pop the gun out and load it. Better than any other *legal* alternative if you don’t have your concealed carry.
I feel that! They are USA based so have more expenses than if they had it made overseas. The code Zach10 I think brings it down to 250 at least. It still is expensive, I do agree, but it's pretty cool as well haha.
@@ZachHollenbaugh don’t get me wrong it’s a good product and I definitely love that it’s USA made. Just doesn’t feel like 300 is justified. Then again I’m no engineer and maybe they feel the cost of labor, development and manufacturing is justified. Personally as a consumer I wouldn’t pay more than 2-230 for that though. And that’s not considering that it has no real lock security behind it (biometrics, code, etc.) but again a case could be made against that for ease of access. Great product though without a doubt!
@MasChingonhtx I completely understand man! I also have a video breaking into the gun box on my channel if you wanted to check it out! Goes over the construction more and the pros and cons of the security aspect.
It is a bit pricey! NGL, but with the Zach10 Promo it's 250 I think, so a little better. I have it closer to 200 in my head but it's also a USA company so I know the over head is higher than most!
honestly this is way to exposed for me... i wish the top sits flush with the console so when people walking by, they don't see a ginormous box just sticking out like a sore thumb...
The couch idea i really like that. One on the couch, toilet, dining room table. Always be ready.
Haha, thanks man!
"really spice up the living room"😂😂😂
Hahaha. I tell no lies
Excellent review, Sir.
I appreciate it!

Thanks for all the info! Very helpful review!
Thanks for watching
Great quality for that price. But the cable is gone after 5 seconds with pliers, so better when mounted with screws. But fingerprint scanner instead of a key would be a nice plus👍
That would be dope! Maybe they will get an electric option later !
I’d get a heavier duty cable, and remove the bolt for the seat and slide it under to remove the lock as a potential point of failure.
Great vid bro. Most definitely subbed. Great content. Will be buying this soon
I appreciate it man! Thanks for the support!
Do you know if the lip that catches on the seat is adjustable, to allow for it to sit higher or lower?
I don't think so, but I'll check next week when I'm home if I can take it apart and move it around!
Glock 19 would be perfect, done and sold. Great review.
Thanks man! I appreciate it!
I see a lot of bullet holes in right legs. But a small bolt cutter will remove that box in seconds or just a set of sockets.
I could see that!

It is! I popped it open with a good screw driver tbh. But it is more for quick access to your gun while in the truck, not designed as a safe!
I NEED one of these!
They are dope!
would a canik mete sf fit? with a red dot
I haven't tried it! But you can check the dimensions on the kwick Strike website to double check!

Do you think this would work with auto adjusting seats? It would reset and adjust every time I get in my truck.
You know I don't know! It would move it around for sure, but I don't know if it would be possible

Thanks man! It's a cool box!
Can the gun have a weapon light and optic?

Oof. That would stink
That's not really the fault of the box though, that'll happen regardless if you keep a gun in your car.

Same. It looks better in full sized trucks for sure

It works on some! But you may have to check the website to see if it will work for your setup! The Gun Box is from Kwick Strike, Promo code Zach10
