Not the kind of advice I was searching for... I believe it has more to do with being a good human rather than deciding what career path to choose in the future.

Wow. Impressive lives and impressive delivery and message. Thank you Amy MacLeod from a Spanish family, we both work in the City of London. Our career advisor at school is also Canadian, a former lawyer. Wholeheartedly agree: we are having meaningful moments with our kids at the dinner table. And we will talk about this.
Best career advice: Value your values
“The relevance of values depends on when we last thought about them”
    Prof Greg Maio, Univ Bath
The best career advice is tought at home at the dinner table:
    - Work hard
    - Be fair
    - Share
    - Listen
    - Tell the truth
    - Be kind
    - Contribute
    - Join in
    - Hate no one
You will change despair into hope
    And change hopefully into progress
    Amy MacLeod

The pressure to choose is just so you can make enough money for when you meet a partner and have kids. It’s all about not struggling and contributing but if you don’t know yet it’s fine. Don’t worry about choosing yourself through your career, just learn a trade or get a decent paying job to support yourself. Don’t take failures too hard just keep a notebook and write down what happened and what you learned, or what help you need next.
Choosing your career doesn’t have to completely rule
You’re finding out always who or what you are and are becoming.
In short don’t worry about your choice, worry about your choices.

Creating career awareness is my passion & will do the same till every student in this world will understand that career (Goal) must be choosen scientifically based on Ability & Dream (though my definitions of these 2 words are definitely unconventional) not emotionally or influenced by societal factors. Once their individual Goal is set & they understand the magical power of memory, concentration & Grit in attitude nothing can stop them from achieving their own Goal. This career Goal will lead to achieving their Goal of Life that is boundless happiness. We will have a Happy World. Let's spread love through Career Counselling ❤😊❤

Generally a waste of time. If you want values these will serve you better courage, resourcefulness, willingness to work hard, willingness to learn, willingness to build a good reputation and frugality (especially good to have some dry powder for downturns in the economy).
Most people will not start or even end up in the careers they want. Most people will have jobs. By taking on those opportunities/jobs, they gain skills, gain insights into the market they serve and build connections. With enough awareness those skills, insights and connections can be put into better use.
