I think with a tall 5 inch flat cut pipe atop that muffler, a period correct bullbar and a minor clean out of dust in the cab you'd take that gem all the way back to her hayday! Love the videos jake! Keep em coming!
It will be getting 2 tall flat top stacks don’t worry about that! I have since cleaned the cab out 80% and it’s looking a million bucks, you will get to see that in the next video or two. Thanks mate👌🏻
Gday Jake, top job doing the alignment on the drive, definitely out a far bit before you started, the engine sounds strong under a bit of load, bloody awesome episode mate, cheers
lovein the job jake oh and the sar at the end bought back a plethoure of memories when i was doin east west out of perth 1 a week perth -melb -perth fridges for ol mate snowy grow
The old truck sounds great and a bit of load and old smoky cleared up real good Great work there Jake 👍👍 Just needs the big alloy bar on the front and and a couple of big H spot lights and it will be complete again
Yep it Definitly likes to pull a little bit of weight it really helps to clear the smoke up! I’ve got a bumper on it at the moment but it will probably have a gull wing bumper in the end
@@dieseldownunder.Great job mate, would look awesome with either the gull wing or a bull Barr. Real cool looking old truck, motor sounds like she's running nice and also nice and clean out the stack too👍 Great work with the wheel alignment as well, might give that laser trick idea a go on my truck one day too, thanks for the info👍. When and where is this Kenworth classic show on? Might have to do a trip over the pond and have a look. Your Aussie truck shows look awesome. Cheers 👍.
@@bush600r2 a gull wing always looks good I don’t have any trucks with one but I have one truck with a bullbar so I’d say this will get a gull wing I have no idea if that’s the normal practice but it seemed to work so I’m happy! The Clarendon Kenworth classic is held on the 3rd weekend of September every year in Clarendon Sydney NSW from Friday to Sunday I will have a video with all the photos put together at some stage there was over 700 kenworths and all kinds of other trucks and machines over the other side of the show so there would have been well over 1000 trucks over the weekend
@@dieseldownunder. Sounds great, I'll have to try get over for next year's show then👍. Look forward to seeing your video of the show and your truck too when you get the chance to upload it. Thanks again mate 👍
Great Job Jake 1st class, love your videos, cant wait for the next one. Buy the way I managed to find a manual for the Perkins in the backhoe i bought. should be getting into that in the next few weeks.
Awesome job Jake, I thought those torque rods had wedge wash’s for spaces as well so it not only spaced it but could adjust the piñon angle as well. Awesome job on that rear end alignment. You did a better job than some alignment shops do. Looking forward to the next instalment.
Hey mate thanks for tuning in! I believe the top rod is the one you add washers in to adjust the pinion angle I could be wrong but looking at it that’s what I had always assumed🤷🏻♂️ it worked well it has brand new tyres and I drove it 350km and it hasn’t worn any of the little rubber tits off yet! Cheers mate
Hi Jake, great job on the alignment and shocks. Boosters looked like they went well. Sounds great and it won’t hurt her to pull a little load, will help keep her in shape! Stay cool
Hey mate! Yes I could work it if I wanted, full rego is quite expensive so I will put it on club rego which will allow me to use it to move my own personal equipment for up to 90 days per year so that should be just fine I think!
@@dieseldownunder. i think i've been here too long....i was just wondering if you could run that "W'model" economicly ,would it still be competitive, fuel economy, pollution (the list goes on),as i only see later model Prime-mover's working. The modern trucks seem to be sucesful in big fleets, they seem to have alot of down time (the Adblue problem)not alot of owner-drivers run the latest gear.I ask because i'm a company driver over here.
You sure work hard young man and that truck would be a good grey nomad mobile if you could keep the fuel up to her. Did you ever find out what the 'fuck' that was?
It is mate it has new springs in the front but they are way to heady for the little 692 so I’ll either pull a few leafs out or put a set of parabolics in the front

Hey Matty thanks for watching! It’s so much better now it drives dead straight down the road so saved myself $800 on that one
Nicely done!! Nothing sounds like them ole Detroits.
Bloody rippa Jake, smokes cleared, sounds good and from all accounts it's driving well, congratulations you can be proud of your work mate.
Thanks mate appreciate it!

Definitely keen to get some good weight behind it and make it work abit harder pulling some hills I think it will help it out a lot!
Well done... top video...!.. keep em coming!
Nice video!
Good stuff Jake !!!
Need some content of that red sar
Don’t worry that will be coming soon😉
Are we going to see you at Yarra Glen Jake that would be fantastic, the old girl is starting to look the goods.
Hey mate what date is Yarra glen on again?
Hi from France, great little video, i'm more than curious, would you be able to work that "W-Model"?.

Hi Jake, great video on the W900. I look forward to all your videos, what gearbox in the W900? The GM sounds so good. Keep up the great work.
Hey mate thankyou for watching it has a 13 speed OD in it!
Cheers
Looks like you guys need to move some stuff around to make it easy to get out the garage
It’s a never ending work in progress on the cleanup!
Good one, looking for airglide 100 for my anteater project.
Are you in Australia? There’s most of an air glide setup down my way on Facebook for sale

I must be the only one here that hates GM’s. Noisy, dirty old oil leakers. But it’s a cool old truck. 🔥
Haha they are fun to drive though and when your having fun not much else matters
Great video man your ratty10
It seems to look like it’s high in the front end and looks a bit odd
It is mate it has new springs in the front but they are way to heady for the little 692 so I’ll either pull a few leafs out or put a set of parabolics in the front
Take those front leaf springs out put 2 springs on each side with air ride you can make it all yourself the front end sits waaaat to fukin high
Hey mate in America we call those brake chambers and there not SHOCKERS😂😂😂😂 its just shocks bro😅
