Thank you for this, I followed your instructions and it worked perfectly. I appreciate the attention to detail and practical solutions (using hands instead of a spudger). Fixed it in under 10 minutes!
There used to be a warrantee extension for this, so should absolutely know about it. All it actually needs is a cleaning between the rubber contacts behind the switch with some alcohol if you don't want to buy a new part.
thanks for your vid it helped me I want to install a constant 12 volt port and I want to put it next to it but didn't want to break the panel thanks again !
