Tony Scott was a great US jazz musician inspired by oriental cultures. This song is from his self titled (or untitled) album, it's pretty great! I made the video by editing clips from Indian animator Ishu Patel's 70s films "How Death Came To Earth" and "Perspective", they can be found on youtube.
He didn't stay in the US for very long and spent his final years in his ancestral country after traveling throughout Asia. His daughter is jazz singer, Monika Shaka.
THANKS! been a constant listener of Tony's Music for Zen Meditation since 60's, but never knew he did this! (Y) sounds more middle eastern / Turkish than Balinese.
best regard from Indonesia 2020... historic Proto progressive rock based on jazz fused mixed with javanese plus persian, south Asian and west/arabic-turkic indigenous tune

Woah, this is some mindblowing stuff!!
Great stuff, as usual.
Forse, dopo molte avversità, oggi si riposa in Italia, Tony Scott, dove ha trovato l'amore, la tranquillità, il successo.
