Absolutely ridiculous this wasn't already included with the miraco pro. It JUST came out, and you immediately launch a "plus" version? I literally bought the pro to scan cars, and now I see you launch a specific version for just that. As a long time customer, I'm very ticked off at this move and honestly is making me look at your company in a different light. You've done this on other models in the last as well. There will be other companies coming out with scanners similar to the miraco shortly I'm sure. I think it's time I try out the competition since customer retention or loyalty doesn't seem to be an area you care about.
I bought the Miraco Pro earlier this year specifically for scanning vehicles for TV and Film production. I found out on set, between shoots, that it didn't perform well. I was so frustrated that I whipped out my camera and used those photos in RealityCapture. I lost a client that day.

After extensive testing, we discovered that due to hardware limitations, the MIRACO and MIRACO Pro didn't perform to an acceptable level of quality when used with the PMK. The MIRACO and MIRACO Pro won't become obsolete, as we're continuously adding new features, expanding MIRACO's capabilities to suit an ever-growing range of scanning scenarios. Nevertheless, if you do want to upgrade, we offer a trade-in service. You can get the new MIRACO Plus and PMK by just paying the price difference.
After seeing this video i am almost sure that it should also work with the pro despite is was said it's not. It even looks like pro version was used in the video because scanning speed was only 10 fps like the pro. A big question mark on customer loyality from my pov. Feature should be made available to pro model as well.

@Revopoint3D Which HW limitation exactly? Specs from Pro and Plus are almost identical and main processing of the data are anyhow done on PC. Explanation is not enough for me to "buy" this excuse. Please share more details here why pro cannot be used.
I'd like to hear the limitations as well. Previous customers did state they do this all the time in comments on the KS for the Miraco. Pushing out a scanner and then pushing out a little update to a new one being sold later. They need to push out longer and better support/updates for their current scanners before they lose customers. Support and innovative updates will keep customer retention higher.

TH-cam just decided to put this on my front page. But this is freaking cool and now I want one. Don't know what I'd do with it, but I have ideas.
Can you scan the same 3 objects with the MIRACO PRO and overlapping the scanned models to show the differences in accuracy between the PRO & PLUS?
