Great video. I have a problem charging an iPad air 1. I have opened the iPad and I have disconnected the motherboard in order to verify the voltage in the battery pins. On the battery connector I measure voltage floating from 0.35 to 1.4V with period of some seconds (it seems a ramp, it could be reasonable). But if I connect the battery it never charges. Do you think the problem is the power supply connector or do you suspect something else? Thanks in advance
hi, thanks for your instructive video. just a single question: unfortunately I left some fingerprints on the LCD when removing process. Cain I clean it ? any solvent is the proper one? thanks for your sooner answer I appreciate a lot from Spain. thank you.
Love the video.. just subscribed to your channel, you describe things very well which helps to learn. I hope your channel blows up because this is very good content.jay
I had the screen replaced on my iPad air and they left the home button higher than the screen, I took it back to have it adjusted, since then the charging port felt lose and wiggly, now charging it is hit-and-miss and every time I plug it it pushed the home button up, sometimes even activates Siri, could the home button adjustment have caused the charging port to go bad? I will take it to be checked out anyway
Hi my friend. Great video. I´ve done same repair than you in my Ipad Air and the flex charger port is already installed. I´ve checked the connections and it seems all are correct but once I´ve connected the charger to the new USB port (5.2 volts.), I´ve detected 1.4 volts. only in the motherboard battery pads (without the battery fitted). Which voltage should be in these pads? 3,7 volts? I cannot fit the battery as it´s gone. It´s dead. Before to purchased new one, I need to know if the repair is properly done but that 1,4 volts make me suspect that something is wrong. Can you help me? I´ll appreciate a lot. Thank you.
@@ghaziterbela On battery connector I measure here voltage waving from 0.37 to 1.4V with period of some seconds. But if I connect the battery it never charges. Do you think the problem is the power supply connector or do you suspect something else? Thanks in advance
HI Diego, the voltage waving from 0.5 to 1.4 volt, is it regular? How do you fix your problem? in your case was it a problem of battery or something else?

What is that liquid named

Flux. Clean the flux off with isopropyl alcohol.
Good video 💯 may I ask what flux you are using? Or recommend a decent one to use.
Many thanks

That shouldnt cause any issue with that.
What temp were you running the iron at?
Hy, Usually 290 degrees but the secret is to use enough flux.
