What I noticed is that when you fight a bunch of enemies, try to only hit them twice, then press block, because after a 2 combo, one of them will jump on you and if you time it right you stun them all with a counter.
My favorite build was a sorcerer/finesse hybrid. There were two finesse abilities that buffed damage on edged weapons: one of them added bleed effects and the other added poison damage. So I used fully upgraded chakrams as short and mid-range weapons with spells for enemies that were farther away. It was a potent combination that had ways of handling almost any creature effectively.
Such an under rated gem! I loved this on the PS3! Just picked it up. Looking forward to a replay. The combat is so much fun to master, and tailor to you own play style.
Raychul, I have two questions for you that are somewhat off topic. First, are you going to be willing to do a review about the Avengers game that recently came out soon? Second, how exactly do you feel about the Gotham Knights game coming out early next year? Would you be interested in playing through it if you're a superhero genre gaming fan?
I remember your original review 8 years ago. I really enjoyed playing it on Xbox 360, I now have the remaster for PS4. Great game back on PS3 originally but any game that scales enemies to your character level is just a jackass decision. Especially in an RPG game where the point of leveling up a character is so that you're now able to tackle higher level enemies or get through lower level areas much more quickly.
I remember you said back in 2011/2012 you enjoyed this game more than Skyrim and people send you like death threats through YT comments LMAO. People are so dumb

Sorcerer with Meteor and Mark of Flame is extremely OP. After Balor got stunned I cast one Meteor and he died in one hit on Hard! XD

The best part is that Schilling gets nothing from this. I think you are overselling it a bit but it's better than you'd think from a new studio.
Bloooody amazing and completed it! rare to complete its fight system is perfect! yes characters can be a bit boring but combat and enjoyed!
