Brother jeff that looks fire. Not sure I mentioned this but the brass bushing in the heim joint on the turnbuckles need to be re pressed with green loctite because they will come out first rip!! That billet looks great! Can’t wait to see the tmr power house in there
Thanks Kyle Im going to wait until the bushings pop out then I will glue them in no worries! O tried pushing them out and they were in so tight they didnt want to pop out so I oringed them well see how it goes ! Eventually Ill get some better links! Im looking forward to it getting the TMR 50 in there I think it would be a perfect fit once AL gets me a pipe for it and were also going to put a bigger cooling head on it .
Looking good brotha! I’m chompin at the bit to get my RCs out too. Been too hot for the gas ones and I ran out of Nitro fuel lol. Hybrid32494 gave me a good site to get some more Nitro since all my local shops no longer carry it. Can’t wait to see the XLT rip!
Lol time to head to the local hobby shop brother! The little nitros drink fuel big time lol! Its fun to burn some nitro! But man it has been hot shew! Im ready for fall so we can make some raw power!
That angle front center shaft is deal breaker for me for the Five-T. They have have designed a center transfer gear to bring the shaft to lined up. Other than that the vehicle is great. 2 steering servo adds more weight.
Unfortunately truth be told lol. That pipe here is a turd 💩 flat out with a weed whacker sound n all 😂😂 I mentioned in the excitement vid I thought what the ALX is going in maybe not. Anyhow Im redoing the whole rear end of the yellow and blue FT! The TMR 50 is coming out and the ALX 50 is going in but will a full new suspension set up and all new drive line parts, the diff , trans , bevel gears , drive cup n shafts ALx style!! This thing is getting the works unfortunately its going to add ten pounds to my rig which wont be very nice when I crash 😂😂😂! How ever I think the tires may blow completely off the wheels! This is an all new BZM cylinder with 6 intake ports and massive exhaust port that has been reshaped for more nastiness! Its going to be a site to see! My mom n dad have supported some of the parts because they are just as excited as I am to see what it can do! Im going to warm it up, set the tune, get it through a few good tanks , tune it rich but crispy n clean and no where near lean and then Im going to make a video of it. The carburetor is so huge for a fifty this sucker is going to take on some fuel!! I absolutely cannot wait bro!! You wait to you hear what it sounds like in 50:1. Absolutely nothing like the other guys who hate what Im about to do but want so bad for me to blow up my baby ALX 50.
Unfortunately brother I just dont have the time! I got so much going on with my own stuff and the shipping costs and the cost for me to do it would just not be worth it! Ive got hours n hours on this build! 50+ hours at least with all the cleaning n what not. It would just be to expensive brother!
all you stuff is awesome. but none of it handles right because of all of that weight and of that stiffness in the metal parts. you yellow buggy handles good because you left most of the nylon parts.
Thanks man. The yellow buggy handles good because I got the suspension set up it has billet in the right places. Ive never even ran this tank 🤣. Because its a dog with the crap pipe and low revving engine. But my other billet rides handle just fine like my max 5T but I have nylon in between the billet for flexibility . My big ALX 50 car handles as good as it can for a 46 pound monster! Bajas have most of the weight in the rear ! No gas Rc is going to handle like a light weight electric car hands down. But I have plenty of fun with the cars I do run! My runners I only put billet where it’s necessary to strengthen the chassis. These all billet rigs are just for show like how people built models as kids! Some for show some for go! Thanks for watching man! I have another rig similar to this and its left mostly plastic for the very reason you said …,so it handles nice and will be able to take a serious beating!
Really? I dont have any issues with it at all! I only have had issues from no name billet ali express. All if my Rovan parts fit perfectly with my HPI parts! But if you dont like it dont buy it its that simple! No need to bash it. I don’t like electric ⚡️ but I dont go to electric channels and bash electric.
