      Michael you helped me setup my radio as well. Have you had any issues with the radiolink rc8x? I see so many bad reviews on them but my rc4gs has been great.

      @@thatoneguy2756hey mate, we had one sent for review and I couldn’t get the Rx to bind with the Tx. Ever since then I’ve been turned off by the concept, the interface felt too complicated for something as simple as a surface radio

    Son you did an excellent job on this video. So informative and shared a wealth of knowledge. That RC is definitely next level. The most technical looking RC I have ever seen. When dad saw it yesterday he was amazed. Anyway, your editing was great. I know this video had to be not easy to make. To work on it and explain everything on camera and the editing i know could not have been easy but you made it look easy. Yes you absolutely have worked hard and deserve this spectacular RC! Love you so much.

    Really good video Eastside RC, Enjoyed watching , Did you replace the front diff with a one way ? I think you may of but couldn't quite tell ? Also be careful when screwing in the brake master cylinders onto the radio tray as i already stripped one of mine ,Very easy to do ,Love the channel .Cheers

    • @eastsiderc
      @eastsiderc  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you bro I appreciate it. The master cylinder’s tightened right up really tight they didnt feel like they were going to strip but if they did bro its an easy easy fix just move to the next size screw. I used 3mm screws but the MC will accept 4 millys no problem. I take extra care not to he man the composite 😂🤣! Though I have stripped before. Lol you can also use loctite made for plastic that works quite well

      @@eastsiderc All good my friend , I replaced my front diff to a one way diff as i will be using the buggy for racing ,I dont know thats its totally necessary ,but wanted to let you know the option was available .Thanks for the reply
      ( The new one-way differential is now available. Now with the launch of the Hydrax Disc Brakes you can install the new one-way differential.
      One way diff only locks up when you are accelerating and won’t lock when braking. When you throttle you lock the differential and when you release you release the wheels. The one-way diff allows smoother cornering)

    That space is made for the pin. So you cant lose it. Made the same " mistake"😊

    • @eastsiderc
      @eastsiderc  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Are you talking about the spacer in the hub? Yeah that was a mistake 😂😂😂 I totally didnt notice them in the back if the hubs . Those were a pain in the butt, but I understand they hold the pin and it holds the whole break assembly together as well. I would’ve preferred things individually, packaged, and pens in a Ziploc baggie would’ve been fine with me.

  • @kanenstuff

    Would it be possible to lock the front brakes with a switch and do some nice burnouts.

    • @eastsiderc
      @eastsiderc  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      with a Bias brake set up yes but I would need a five channel Rx also not sure if the center diff or front diff would like that as this being a all the time 4 wheel drive. This thing has three locking type diffs in it and they lock up like a locker set at different degree angles to lock up sooner or later, Its so high tech bro I love it haha! I can't stop looking at the thing

    • @eastsiderc
      @eastsiderc  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@charlesbartlebaughhey Charles , well there is a loctite used for setting stuff like bearings. Its a green wicking loctite. I cant remember the number I think 209 I cannot think of anything else thin enough to hold the bearing in there. The only other thing you could maybe do is purchase Japanese Nochi bearings for it and press those in. The seem to be of a tighter tolerance when Ive worked with them. Sorry I cant better help .

    The RC hobby does not need such a complex car and its price is expensive
    You complicate the hobby and not the other way around
    MCD is one of the most companies that helped to turn the wonderful simple hobby into a masterpiece placed in the salon for people to watch
    Look at the Losi 5ive-T how simple it is and its price is suitable
    At the same time look at the MCD price
    Unfortunately these prices and these costs turned our hobby into a dream 😢

      Thanks for watching man. Im just sharing my fun that's all. This whole collection of cars I have built is a dream come true. Its a blessing from God for me living right! Im older now almost 50 Ive been at my job for 22 years so I can afford the things now that I never could before. I simply have been blessed and worked very hard for it. I do not at all complicate this hobby. I legitimately help people spiritually and mechanically. Have a great night.
