@@GardeningInCanada hi! Thanks for the great and informative video! I have divided my snake plants into 19 plants! I plan to give them as Christmas gifts. The leaves are a little yellow on some of them. I was wondering if you'd use this in the non growing months to 'green up' the leaves so they look better when I give them away. If so, should it be diluted? I've given a fish emulsion and chelated iron combination twice so far - one a week and diluted to less than 1/2 the recommended amount. Thanks in advance for any help!
Someone gave me a snake plant growing in a jar of water. I didn’t know anything about sansevieria care at the time so kept my stalk in a jar of water. I about a year’s time the large jar was full, so i decided it’s time to plant in real soil. I assumed maybe it was a swamp plant, because it did so well living in water. So i put my potted plant in a deep tray and kept water in the tray. Whe the tray and soil were dry i felt bad that i left the poor thing dry out, as i typically kept water in the tray constantly. My plant continued to thrive and reproduce rapidly. I also had beautiful blooms. When it was time to transplant again, i started watching TH-cam videos to learn what to do. Then realized everyone says they like dry, watering kills them, etc etc etc…. LOL. I didn’t know the ‘rules’ and i supposed my snake didn’t know the rules either. Now i do water less. I drench with water in the tray, but let it dry out between watering. Mine are still thriving and healthy. Nice to hear you water more like i do, with great success.
Finally! I have always been so confused by the advice people give about this group of plants. My grandmother gave me her plant that must be around 60 years old now, and I have been taking care of it since I was a kid. It is a monster! It grows as fast as bamboo especially when I take it out in the spring and summer. It blooms every year and almost every other year I have to chop it up and give half of it away so that I can even carry it inside because it just gets so freaking huge. But I have always been confused because my grandmother told me it needs tons of water and light and almost literally everywhere else I have heard the opposite. I just keep taking care of it the way my grandmother told me to because it grows like it wants to take over the world under her instructions, but I always wondered if this plant is just a mutant or something because it behaves so differently and likes all the things people say it shouldn't. This makes so much sense now!
@@AccessHollywoood I have just put it directly in the sun before when taking it outside thinking nothing would tame its power but I ended up giving it sunburn pretty bad. After that I cut off the burnt parts and put it under a tree and it bounced right back. The leaves that grow in the direct sun are much thicker and have deeper white pigmentation on them. Now I take it out and move it to the shade of the tree and then after about a month I put it in a place that gets direct sun for about half the day and that seems to be fine for it as long as it has lots of water. I used to have 80+ species of Sansevieria 😅 and then I got introduced to aroids. I had to sell and giveaway my other collection. I only got about 30 left. I agree generally. I want my plants to thrive, not just survive. I propagated one about 5 years ago and it took forever to take off but now, seems to be thriving. I give as much light as I can, water sparingly, more frequently. They are all pretty happy.
Thank-you I recently was given 2 as a gift a regular green leafed one and a moonshine so I potted them together and am trying to get them to grow fast. Awesome advice thanks!
I had mine outdoors in full sun all summer. We had a LOT of rain this year. I didn't have to water except for maybe twice the entire summer. They were pretty much, over watered all summer. They did great ! They shocked me. Even my aloe quadrupled in size. ( Usually they don't do well for me. )
Woah, new subscriber. That info was exactly what I needed...I was so afraid to try full sun and terrified of overwatering after re-potting my first snake plants. Hope this works! Thank you!
16 and counting I have them in on my south facing window and water them once a week because I want then to grow faster I'm glad that I'm not the only one who does this because I am aware they come from sunny environments
This makes so much sense and as a new snake plant grower I really appreciate this confirmation!😊 I have mine in about 75% sun, which is max in my back yard due to some tree coverage, but I have not been watering them but once a month from other videos I saw. But in my own thoughts, right from the beginning, I'm thinking more than that, especially in more sun?? Lol so again thanks!!
I tend to buy most of my plants from the clearance section too. They tend to be over watered by the time I find them. Sometimes they just need a bright warm spot to rehabilitate other times I have to completely repot them in well draining potting mix. I never water on a schedule, I just stick my finger in and check.
I finally bought one this last year. Within a few months.. I had 3. After dividing.. another popped up. However growth has been slow. With this advise I'm giving it more light and moisture. I watered lightly every few weeks.. nomatter how much it tolerates drought.. it dont feel right letting it go bone dry and let it stay that way. No drooping or damage.. but not the growth rate I'd like. I'm sure after this knowledge.. it'll improve. Very much appreciated!
I have found this to be true in my experience too. I have mine in very well-draining soil so I water them frequently. And I've noticed that when I put them in brighter light, they grow much faster. I hadn't gone as far as full sun, but I will keep that in mind.
You, I put an ad on marketplace last year asking if anyone had a snake plant they needed to divide and got 2 given to me. One was at deaths door and is my inside plant. The other was large and is my outside thriver! It gets watered about half what my pothos gets, both are on my covered front porch. It gave me several new leaves after it recovered from being savagely split and given to me. It’s about 1/3 larger in one summer. My indoor one, I don’t think it’s given me a single leaf rofl it’s the perfect size in a beautiful pot and custom stand. It’s gorgeous and sits in the window by the front door. Clearly not enough light. Will fix that soon. I got a mikado about 3 months ago and it had a large pup I separated that is now giving me new leaves. The mother plant has given me a new pup with 3 leaves on it. All of them are sitting in a window. And omgosh they are such a gorgeous much healthier green than when I got them. ❤❤❤
I agree. The more light you provide, the more they grow, the more water they will need. In the dark corner of your home, they are not receiving much light, they will not dry out as quickly or 'drink' as much water so they will require less. I used to keep aquarium plants, it was always the light that was the driving force for growth.
Should I add charcoal chunks to my indoor potting mixture? 0:15 snake plant standard variety unverigated 1:17 Birdsnest snake plant 1:43 sansaveria cylindrica 2:11 whale fin/whale tail snake plant 2:32 snake plant standard variety verigated I have never seen the last two so I could not name them.
So cool, thank you! For a long time I only had the “typical” snake plant, but over the last couple of years, have acquired other variations. I am usually really fearful of overwatering, so I use a moisture meter. But, this information is very helpful and appreciated! Happy new year!
I was wondering why my snake plant has been growing like crazy compared to some of the stories I've heard about it being a slow grower. Mine gets lots of sun and I water regularly and it has 4 pups (one is almost as tall as the parent leaves) in a couple months.
Great video thanks. I’m about to acquire a whale fin and want to grow in LECA balls with an inch or so of water at the bottom of the pot well away from the roots. Indoors in sun with a grow light supplementing during winter. Yay or nay from you re LECA?
This video is very helpful to me. I recently purchased my first snake plant from the grocery store. It is currently in quarantine for observation for pests. So far, so good. I was planning to put it in a low light area, but after hearing your advise I think I will try putting it in a bright light. What kind of humidity do they need.?
Great plant. Good air filter and easy to grow. I have mine outside in partial shade and get great growth and water 1-2x a week. Getting ready to move some indoors next to a east facing window.
This is super helpful and explains my recent success with them. I'm a big fan of snake plants! 11 cv's and counting. :) I'm trying to learn the names of the ones I got that didn't come with tags. Really appreciate the science end of it too! Thanks for sharing it.
I just throw mine outside for the summer then indoors out of direct sun in the winter and water when I remember. They are taking over the house, bursting ( literally) out of their pots!
Question: I want CAM plants in my bedroom for the nighttime oxygen. If I remove the CAM mechanism, this will reduce night time oxygen, right? Thank you.
I’m totally going to try this! Could you please do a video on how to help a plant that’s curling? I have a Masoniana sansevieria that is folding like a taco and I don’t know how to help it. On the internet, some say it’s due to overwatering, some say it’s under watering, some say fungus. If you have advice, I’d really appreciate it! Thanks!
I am so glad I found you. I am in South Africa. I have 11 different snake plants in my collection. I also found they like more water. They also grow fast for me. I don't put them in full sun. It is very hot here. They do prefer some shade. I keep them outside and on my stoep (covered). The cam thing I learnt about when doing research for spekboom. You explained it well. People ofter ask me for plants that will produce oxygen... And then I roll my eyes.. Photosynthesis and chlorophyll... All plants make oxygen. I know listened to the leave video also. Very interesting. I have always left my leaves as mulch. I never knew about the carbon thing and i do notice a lot of fungi in my garden. I do have a fertilizer high in nitrogen that we occasionally use everywhere. It makea sense
I have one very small sansivieria growing in a small bowl full of fish tank water! Just water! It’s put out so many new roots and loves living aquatically. So yes! You can grow sansivieria in water!!!
How much heat can snake plant tolerate if it’s placed outside (and properly hardened off). Zone9B (Northern CA) here where summers can get up to 110F/43C, as expected today, evenings typically (but not always) cool down to 60F/15C). I’ve finally had success with cuttings but these babies grow sooo slow I was thinking outdoor Sun or a grow light may be helpful.

Because I'm a newb and didn't know... I've had mine on the southeast facing back deck since end of May zone 5 and letting it get rained on and it's doing WAY better than when I bought it back in November and had in low light and barely watered over the winter. Total beginners fluke. I had moved it outside because of my indoor cat who likes to chew 🤦♀️ and I had no other place to put it. This winter its going to have to be behind closed door in low light spare room but good to know it will be ok there. Thanks for all the amazing info.
Can you save one that’s been frosted? I was moving, went away for a week it got left outside, Iblah blah I messed up, but won’t dump it unless I have to!
I was struggling with mine, but I had an idea to repot in pure leca balls. It sits in a window with afternoon sun snd thoroughly soak the medium once a week. I’ll try putting it outside this summer. I have seen them growing outdoors in Caribbean countries.
Tx Ash, another informative Vidja. I am 45 years young and am considering college for horticulture but since finding your channel I think I might want to follow in your footsteps. Tx again for knowledge and info. ✌🏻️❤️🌱.
These are my favorites. there's a florist near my house that has a little house plant selection and they sell these all the time for really cheap so my windows are full. I water them usually once a week except in the winter they need a little less. I build 3 shelves across the north facing window in my bedroom and it's perfect for them. (also in Canada -southern Ontario) i have 17 snake plants lol
I took a cutting when I was in San Diego (where it grows outside happily) and it took forever to form a plant. It seemed happier when it became very pot bound. It does love lots of sun and regular watering. I do not fertilize often, typically in summer when it seems to be actively growing. I have a total of 7 ( 6 varieties) and adore their look! The Samaria is in my husband’s care and has slowed to almost no growth since he put it in a relatively low light bathroom with a small window. I told him it wasn’t ideal!
Once you soil is dry you can just move them into the shady area and start restricting the water. No need to ween just don’t place a recently watered snake plant into a shady spot
I got one recently. It's in full sun a few hours a day but I don't water it very often because the soil doesn't dry out completely. It has coco fiber on top of the soil, so maybe that's way it doesn't dry as fast. Do you think I should remove the coco fiber?
@@GardeningInCanada I don't think so. I only checked the humidity with one finger until now. It is possible they kept it in a soil that keeps humidity so it grows healthy roots.
I got a fernwood for 75% off cuz it is all sorts of beat up. I have one plant that’s gotten maybe 4 new leaves in the two or three years I’ve owned it so I should probably up the light. Up to five snake plants of various types
Thanks for the tip. I have had mine under grow lights and moved them…..now they will go back under grow lights. I water them regularly and I worry that I will invite root rot so they are I very fast draining soil.
IT WORKS!! I watched your video a couple of weeks ago, freshened up their soil and put my snake plants out in the summer sun and rain. Its been a fairly hot summer here in the Chicago area (not record-breaking heat like lots of other places in 2023) and all the snake plants seem very happy and are growing fast, with more dramatic variegation. I don’t leave them out in the heaviest thunderstorms. I avoid watering them with the hose between rain storms unless they’re dry. I fertilize now and then. They are growing fast, including the pups of the Whale Fin i got in June.
You can propagate Sansevieria from leaf cuttings, but variegated plants will revert to the original parent. Divisions from a rhizome will stay true however.
I think obligate CAMs can only conduct CAM photosynthesis, and facultative CAM plants can switch pending conditions. So any extra growth is likely just due to more lighting in my opinion.

Any advice on getting them to flower? I have a massive plant, 4 to 5 feet tall, that used to flower 2 to 3 times a year, but hasn't in the last couple years at all.
I have just bought my first 2 snake plants! One big guy in a “12 pot, and a little guy in a 6” pot. I have them indoors, but I am now contemplating putting them outside for the summer
If you do be sure to garden them off slowly. I have an article on this here: gardeningincanada.net/bringing-house-plants-outside/ As well as a video: th-cam.com/video/uG_lMAQ-cHE/w-d-xo.html
Great info! I was able to propagate from a leaf cutting very quickly because I kept it close under an intense grow light. I"m considering moving one or two of my snake plants outside this summer, but I haven't ever transitioned any of my houseplants outdoors for the summer. Do you have any advice (maybe a video?) on doing that to help it adjust well?
I have a blog post on this process! and a video. I would go with the article because it has other videos that you should watch as well just to help understand some concepts. gardeningincanada.net/bringing-house-plants-outside/
True, but I don't think you even need to have lots of sun from a south window or grow light to get good growth. Sure, it helps a lot, but I had mine in a north-west window for many years, and they grew quite fast, had to repot every 2 or 3 years. It's the watering schedule, and the amount you give them that in my opinion is the key, too many people are just too scared to overwater them and let them go dry too long to avoid any risk. I think the plant adjusts to that, thinking it's a dry period, and take's its foot off the gas.
I have not had the luxury of trying things out with full sun but I have noticed that by watering the one that I have even in a north facing window at my job has really seen it grow substantially over the last three months or so

16 and counting I have them in on my south facing window and water them once a week because I want then to grow faster I'm glad that I'm not the only one who does this because I am aware they come from sunny environments
Yea! That’s awesome is it working for you?
This makes so much sense and as a new snake plant grower I really appreciate this confirmation!😊 I have mine in about 75% sun, which is max in my back yard due to some tree coverage, but I have not been watering them but once a month from other videos I saw. But in my own thoughts, right from the beginning, I'm thinking more than that, especially in more sun?? Lol so again thanks!!
Glad it was helpful!
I tend to buy most of my plants from the clearance section too. They tend to be over watered by the time I find them. Sometimes they just need a bright warm spot to rehabilitate other times I have to completely repot them in well draining potting mix.
I never water on a schedule, I just stick my finger in and check.
Yea absolutely the schedule thing is silly
Totally agree with you , I care for my sansevieria the same way, like them big ! and they are ! my whale is 10" wide and 2,5' tall.
wow
I finally bought one this last year. Within a few months.. I had 3. After dividing.. another popped up. However growth has been slow. With this advise I'm giving it more light and moisture. I watered lightly every few weeks.. nomatter how much it tolerates drought.. it dont feel right letting it go bone dry and let it stay that way. No drooping or damage.. but not the growth rate I'd like. I'm sure after this knowledge.. it'll improve. Very much appreciated!
They will grow like crazy want to give them light
I enjoyed this video. Thank You.
I’m glad! Be sure to share
I have found this to be true in my experience too. I have mine in very well-draining soil so I water them frequently. And I've noticed that when I put them in brighter light, they grow much faster. I hadn't gone as far as full sun, but I will keep that in mind.
It’s crazy right?! They go wild I feel bad when people have these plants that put out one new leaf a year.
Thank you for this 🤩I started my cuttings on a south-west facing windowsill and that is where they are right now. Growing in semi-hydro (LECA).
Best of luck!
I agree. The more light you provide, the more they grow, the more water they will need. In the dark corner of your home, they are not receiving much light, they will not dry out as quickly or 'drink' as much water so they will require less. I used to keep aquarium plants, it was always the light that was the driving force for growth.
Wow ❤ actual scientific advice 👍
glad you enjoyed.
Should I add charcoal chunks to my indoor potting mixture?
0:15 snake plant standard variety unverigated
1:17 Birdsnest snake plant
1:43 sansaveria cylindrica
2:11 whale fin/whale tail snake plant
2:32 snake plant standard variety verigated
I have never seen the last two so I could not name them.
So cool, thank you! For a long time I only had the “typical” snake plant, but over the last couple of years, have acquired other variations. I am usually really fearful of overwatering, so I use a moisture meter. But, this information is very helpful and appreciated! Happy new year!
That’s awesome! Happy new year!
Thanks for the video!! I have a question for you: where should I place my plant during the winter?
Glad you enjoyed! and full sun or under a grow light if possible
I actually did this without even knowing, thanks for the explanation.
Woohoo
Excellent explanation. Thanks for the advice ❤
Glad it was helpful!
I have a baby one gifted a few years back n hardly growing...I understand now...thank you...need to water more...
Haha uh oh!
I was wondering why my snake plant has been growing like crazy compared to some of the stories I've heard about it being a slow grower. Mine gets lots of sun and I water regularly and it has 4 pups (one is almost as tall as the parent leaves) in a couple months.
timely information - thank you! i have 4 snake plants and several cuttings.
That’s awesome! I love them
@@GardeningInCanada i had a couple of the hahnii type root rot because the soil was way too heavy - lesson learned. hoping the cuttings work
Yea they don’t love heavy soil that’s forsure
Great video thanks. I’m about to acquire a whale fin and want to grow in LECA balls with an inch or so of water at the bottom of the pot well away from the roots. Indoors in sun with a grow light supplementing during winter. Yay or nay from you re LECA?
Leca is a greay idea and yes i would grow light for winter if you want rapid growth
This video is very helpful to me. I recently purchased my first snake plant from the grocery store. It is currently in quarantine for observation for pests. So far, so good. I was planning to put it in a low light area, but after hearing your advise I think I will try putting it in a bright light. What kind of humidity do they need.?
Just regular old home humidity between 30-50
Great plant. Good air filter and easy to grow. I have mine outside in partial shade and get great growth and water 1-2x a week. Getting ready to move some indoors next to a east facing window.
Thanks for the tips!
Thanks for the information 👍 😀
How long should I keep the snake plant in the indoor light daily?
Indoor light plant
If you can do 16-18 hrs total that is ideal
@@GardeningInCanada Thank you so much!!!!!!
Thank you so much. I will be trying your tips because I really would love for it to get bigger.
Yea! Absolutely give it a shot and let me know how it works for you
can you do a vid on repotting? Do you ever use pumice? can you speak to what planting mix? TIA
I have videos on almost all those topics ❤️

My pleasure!
How do you keep the snake plant from being sun burnt?
Are christmas cactus are the same in that regard?
This is super helpful and explains my recent success with them. I'm a big fan of snake plants! 11 cv's and counting. :) I'm trying to learn the names of the ones I got that didn't come with tags. Really appreciate the science end of it too! Thanks for sharing it.
Going to give this a try - beef up my snake plants 💪 ! Thanks for sharing
Awesome you wont be disapointed
I somehow got mine to bloom a couple times. I think it was a combination of direct sun and watering (indoors). They have a beautiful perfume
Direct sun makes a major difference
I just throw mine outside for the summer then indoors out of direct sun in the winter and water when I remember. They are taking over the house, bursting ( literally) out of their pots!
Haha sounds like a snake plant
How long do you keep them under the grow light
Do you own aloes? If so, a video like this would be great👍🏻
I have one monster aloe I can definitely do a video for you
Yeah but I don’t think aloe is indoor
Question: I want CAM plants in my bedroom for the nighttime oxygen. If I remove the CAM mechanism, this will reduce night time oxygen, right? Thank you.
What can I put in a pot with snakeplant outside in Texas? No aloe vera?...
Thank you this helped a lot. I have five of them.
I think an obligate CAM plant can only use CAM. Do you mean a facultative CAM plant?
I’m totally going to try this! Could you please do a video on how to help a plant that’s curling? I have a Masoniana sansevieria that is folding like a taco and I don’t know how to help it. On the internet, some say it’s due to overwatering, some say it’s under watering, some say fungus. If you have advice, I’d really appreciate it! Thanks!
Oh man. It’s most likely under watering causing the cell walls to collapse and pull.
Nice!!! I’m releasing an update video on this Friday next week
You are truly inspirational.
I'm glad I stumbled across this Channel and I can't wait to use your tips this week!
Science is such a powerful tool
I have one very small sansivieria growing in a small bowl full of fish tank water! Just water! It’s put out so many new roots and loves living aquatically. So yes! You can grow sansivieria in water!!!
Nice!
Oh my l am going to start collecting all the different species.l think this will be a worthwhile project. Thanks for your ideas.
They can take pretty high heat but I like to stay under 35
@@GardeningInCanada Thank you for the tip! I’ll prob
wait I’ll till this inferno has passed. In other news : Love this channel, it’s my first season using NemaKnights per your suggestion, so far so good!
That’s awesome ahaha
Can you save one that’s been frosted? I was moving, went away for a week it got left outside, Iblah blah I messed up, but won’t dump it unless I have to!
If the crown is okay i will bounce back
I was struggling with mine, but I had an idea to repot in pure leca balls.
soil science is always the best choice ;)
These are my favorites. there's a florist near my house that has a little house plant selection and they sell these all the time for really cheap so my windows are full. I water them usually once a week except in the winter they need a little less. I build 3 shelves across the north facing window in my bedroom and it's perfect for them. (also in Canada -southern Ontario) i have 17 snake plants lol
Sorry if I’m wrong but did you mean to say facultative CAM and not obligate CAM .If I’m correct facultative means that its optional.
Ok, but what happens when you have the growth you want and they are inside in low light? Do you gradually wean them from the light and water?
Once you soil is dry you can just move them into the shady area and start restricting the water. No need to ween just don’t place a recently watered snake plant into a shady spot
I got one recently. It's in full sun a few hours a day but I don't water it very often because the soil doesn't dry out completely. It has coco fiber on top of the soil, so maybe that's way it doesn't dry as fast. Do you think I should remove the coco fiber?
Does it have perlite?
@@GardeningInCanada I don't think so. I only checked the humidity with one finger until now. It is possible they kept it in a soil that keeps humidity so it grows healthy roots.
I got a fernwood for 75% off cuz it is all sorts of beat up. I have one plant that’s gotten maybe 4 new leaves in the two or three years I’ve owned it so I should probably up the light. Up to five snake plants of various types
The fernwoods are pretty! Love them. Try upping the light only a handful of leaves seems very slow
Thanks for sharing!
What kind of soil would you suggest?
I have a whole blog post on this gardeningincanada.net/diy-potting-soil-recipe/
Its food to see your Sansevierias.❤
subscribed!!! everything makes sense now. thanks for making science understandable to average joe/joanna lol.
Welcome aboard! Be sure too share!
Can or what would happen if you start to change and start putting in low light
Just slower growth
Thanks for the tip. I have had mine under grow lights and moved them…..now they will go back under grow lights. I water them regularly and I worry that I will invite root rot so they are I very fast draining soil.
Good luck!
They are growing fast, including the pups of the Whale Fin i got in June.
glad it worked out for you!
i had a piece of a yellow-edged mil that sprouted plain babies. nice to know how to take care of these.
That’s awesome 🤩
You can propagate Sansevieria from leaf cuttings, but variegated plants will revert to the original parent. Divisions from a rhizome will stay true however.
Wow, amazing!
Plants need light to grow faster?
Wow, they need water?
Dein Kommentar zeigt, dass du keine Ahnung mit diesen Pflanzen hast.
@@olgacologne6223
Can't understand your Ukrainian speech. Tell in normal language, please!
I think obligate CAMs can only conduct CAM photosynthesis, and facultative CAM plants can switch pending conditions. So any extra growth is likely just due to more lighting in my opinion.
Yea absolutely but you need the water volume to support the new energy capture and turning it into something in the form of new growth
Hi!
Your watering sounds find its likely just transplant stress. Lots of light and water wil help
My snake plant plant is pale compared to others I’ve seen that have a beautiful green color. What can be causing this?
Thanks so much for watch! Who ones these and how many?
Laurentii, Moonshine, Starfish, Zeylanica and Fernwood Mikado ...
Oh gorgeous!
Hello! So I have read International Sansevieria Society journals and know some of the botanical names if you want to know more about Sansevieria species such as who and where they come from and about their flowers I would recommend visiting their website :) they have researchers who writes the journals :)
Anyways from my knowledge these are the names of the plants and I included the time from the video so it’s easier.
0:00 Sansevieria trifasciata
1:12 Sansevieria trifasciata Hahnii Marginata
1:39 Sansevieria Cylindrica
2:04 Sansevieria Masoniana
2:20 Sansevieria Lavranos 23154 “Warshiik”
2:32 Sansevieria trifasciata “Laurentii”
2:40 Sansevieria Boncel Patula
Wow! Thanks that’s awesome!
Any advice on getting them to flower? I have a massive plant, 4 to 5 feet tall, that used to flower 2 to 3 times a year, but hasn't in the last couple years at all.
I got several varities in a big pot. in west window they get water when it splashes on em.
I have just bought my first 2 snake plants! One big guy in a “12 pot, and a little guy in a 6” pot.
I have them indoors, but I am now contemplating putting them outside for the summer
If you do be sure to garden them off slowly.
I have an article on this here: gardeningincanada.net/bringing-house-plants-outside/
As well as a video: th-cam.com/video/uG_lMAQ-cHE/w-d-xo.html
Thank you
Very informative
Glad you enjoyed!
Dracaena is a great one for almost anywhere. Easy to care for.
I have not had the luxury of trying things out with full sun but I have noticed that by watering the one that I have even in a north facing window at my job has really seen it grow substantially over the last three months or so
