    How big of paper should I print this on? What size are the circles supposed to be?

    • @defenders-usa
      @defenders-usa  ปีที่แล้ว

      Here's the full link with the details.
      th-cam.com/video/aJcFFW-qmHU/w-d-xo.html
      The paper is the standard 8"x11". The smaller circles are 1" and the bigger ones are 2.5".
      If you happen to video your runs at this drill and want to share, I'd truly be interested in seeing how it goes for you.

    • @defenders-usa

      Three yards, friend. That's what the drill calls for but I'm starting to become curious of how it would go from 5 yards.

      It's a great target. I always just do "one and done", so the video recording is put up whether I do good or bad, with all my screw-ups or good shooting on the channel equally.
      If you look back as some, you see that I'm only bringing to the channel what skill I have that day and don't really care who good or bad my own shooting is.

    Love that your running the VP9, I run the same, I bought mine back before the 17rd magazine and optics cuts were available.
    But I've since bought up a bunch of 17rd mags and conversion kits for the old 15rd magazines, I also had it milled for reddot, I put a trijicon RMR Type 2 RM06 (3.25 moa dot, and manual brightness adjustments).
    I carry appendix in a darkstargear Orion holster ( i don't love my holster, but it works for now).
    What light and holster are you running?
    What distance did you zero your dot?
    I've got a 10yard zero, but have been thinking about trying to push the zero out to 25yards, would this require to much hold over for up close shooting ( in your opinion)?

    • @defenders-usa
      @defenders-usa  ปีที่แล้ว

      Man, it sounds like you're doing it right! I love my Haven Defense Co. holster (www.HavenDefenseCo.com). The light is a TLR7A, compact enough yet still decently bright if ever needed.
      I'm zero'ed at 10 yards as well, as it seems to fit the context of most defensive situations to my way of thinking. It only requires about a 1/2" to 1" hold under when shooting at 25 yards for me when using various but decent training rounds.

  • @workmanprotection

    Adam, where do you get the specific targets?

    • @defenders-usa
      @defenders-usa  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I just Googled free targets some years ago and the Guerrilla Approach Consistency target popped up. I printed off a bunch and shot it a couple times but had completely forgotten about it so the targets have been sitting in a folder for years now. I just happen to see them last week while looking for something else so decided to go give it a try on camera.
