Didn't realize it until today, but the latest Black Series looks A LOT like the SRT Viper in the front end, particularly in the lines on the hood and the angrier headlights. Much bigger fan of the older designs myself, but still really cool to see that AMG did their best to make a truly mad sports car.
Yeah back when the car released the first car it reminded me of was the Viper ACR. They do look really similar, especially the big grille and big wing.
@@shuruff904 Well, like I already said, the lines in the hood and the way the headlights are more slanted. The graphics of the lights themselves are very different, yes, but the angrier silhouette of them in combination with those hood lines is very Viper-esque. The grill, not at all.
@@Ohnoreeko I suppose that's possible, but really doubt there's be all that much collaboration between Mercedes and Dodge. They're typically very different companies when it comes to overall design philosophy, so I'm betting it's just a coincidence.
The only thing i will kinda complain about this redesign is the angle of the front end,it looks a bit off,but overall it's a great resurrection! Would you mind doing the sl65 black series as well? Ty
Imo the SL 65 is the best looking modern Mercedes. Although it is pretty aggressive looking, I think the design is timeless. Just an absolutely stunning car.
You do an amazing job of modernizing tons of cars and making your own version and such, but what would be super unique that I’d love to see is you making older versions of modern cars. Nobody has really done this before and it be super interesting and a new challenge for you to study into and practice and such
I think maybe that's why I like the SL 65 Black Series so much. It was the elegance of an SL roadster with the aggressive styling cues of a Brabus or an aftermarket shop. Best looking modern Mercedes imo.
Saw a dudes post in a CLK group on facebook, was posted like a few days ago, this guy fully converted an 03 CLK to look like a new C class. Interior too. I was pretty impressed. This one almost even looks like it.
I’m kinda getting commodore hsv vibes from this new look, with the angular, sharper headlights and grill graphics. Really think the new front end shape could use a wing to complete the rear though

I would have created an E Coupe AMG Black series since the E Coupe is the actual succesor to the CLK (I think) Pd: it wasnt actually a 6.3 litre, it was a 6.2 litre (6.208cm3) but they decided to go a tenth up just like you mention with the 55amg wich was a 5.4L V8

SLS AMG is my one favourite looking cars. I absolutely love that almost ridiculously long bonnet.

Gotta modernize the 250gto, would be very interesting to see a modern version and see how you handle the body lines.
The proportions feel weird somehow to me. I think that these are good only if the original front angle is maintained.
You drew the ideal front grill design while going over the CLK55 AMG and all I could think of is the iconic Lexus spindle grill
