I would love if you started a series where you primarily go through a car's design evolution through each generation and compare them.. like what you did for the first half of this video. That would be cool
@@georgevulpe5600 it's not about taking away redesigning part.. I'm talking about starting a new series along with redesigning. I think you misunderstood me And judging from the likes im getting, alot of people agree with me
A year ago when I was in university I had a professor who talked about the history of cars. The subject was called history of automotive industry. We loved it. Every week he was bringing an oldtimer in perfect condition and we were allowed to drive with it etc.
Hey first thanks for such good amazing sketches you have done to awaken our eyes in what some ,we thought it couldn't get no better, and some we did think about what if they redesign it, you bring our thoughts to life on paper, we like all that you do, please continue to do more...thanks...
Omg.. I love this, i'm a big big fan of old mercedes cars especially the 190 and the w140 this is just.. woww i want this car.. Would be awesome if the car companies did this kind of stuff.
I really like this! It is significantly different whilst still being recognisable. You went to a great effort to change the doors and windows and everything, and it paid off. Looks like an actual 190E-inspired concept car MB would make. Bravo!
I would buy that redesign. Challenge: You should create a video series that re-imagines iconic cars as if they were created by a different manufacturer. For instance: What if the Nissan z a was created by BMW instead?
I would buy this car! I love how “resto-mods” look like they could be electric cars. Only thing I would do differently is maybe reduce the front intake height more so it’s not 50/50 with the lights; and lower the car or have bigger body kit.
Will be a great succes if Mercedes comes with a car like this as an Electric car.( only another front grille). Production costs should be low with by putting a simple interior, dash panels and just make sure to put the latest infotainment system into it..
It was, but a lot of people misunderstand the 190E because of this. They compare it to the M3 (or the normal 3 series it doesn't matter all that much), which was a sport sedan, but the 190E was a compact luxury car. That's still a problem to this day, comparing Mercedeses with BMWs and Audis since they make quite a different cars that just cost and look about the same
@@mafus6116 That does make sense actually. I guess they were compared to one another due to the competitiveness of both companies and the overall audience appreciation of both astonishing vehicles... or maybe people just loved the hype of BMW and Mercedes clashing one another with two amazing cars, regardless of the specs and interior/exterior features.
@@santoku2027 yes i admit... I love both, the E30 and the 190E (I actually own one). They cost about the same, they were trying to impress the same clientele and they also raced each other (i think that the idea that the stock 190 is a sport sedan came more from the sport versions, that were actually sporty than from the rivalrity, that only helped to spread it). So I don't think it doesn't make sense, it does. I just don't like slammed 190s so I'm just trying to convince people that it's a luxury car, not a sports car or a tuner car😂😂

Can you redesign the 1970 Catalina Pontiac or Bonneville please , sometimes us crazy car guys just imagine what would many of the earlier favorite vehicles would look like in todays time ...
1 suggestion. I believe it would look better if the front bumber was a little lower to the ground. Keeping in mind that this would be a modern car it would need to look sportier and since the old 190E wasn't that sporty looking,I believe being a little lower would do the trick cuz this way it looks like a mid-SUV
Can you also redesign the 2006 Cadillac DTS please , us Cadillac guys wish they had kept making the DTS and STS for today , even the 80s eldorado redesign would be awesome...
I love my 99 C230 Kompressor. It looks identical to the silver "94" in Sketch's photo, except my AMG monoblocks are rare 15" rims, it has an aftermarket supercharger pulley/belt, and suspension tuned by AMG in Germany. It's one of a handful of US specs that got tuned by AMG and is not a C63. Best looking C Class imo. (And the last/best version)
I was having a dream a few months back in early 2020 and in that dream mercedes advertising the hashtag #BringBackTheClassics on their special edition C, E and S Klasse based on w123 and w124 and this is what depicted very very close to my dream with minor differences just like how nissan 400z body line looks almost identical to 240/280z. It's the same with this, it has more curvy body line than the w124 but has all the modern tech in it. Rims are different, headlight had a close design to the original but with modern touches, more modernize grills and very sleek bodykit. It giving me a chill in the spine when i found out about this video just now.
I generally like Mercedes-Benz designs a lot - even the more controversial and ... experimental ones - yet, I want to get this 2021-190 as a coach build now for she looks fantastic. This is an extremely well made redesign in my opinion.
WOWW!!!! This one really works well. I would have liked to see it lowered a few inches on the ground.
Yeah, such an SUV height
The grille is too small for the Avant-garde grille imo. He should've widened the opening and reduced the space the headlights take up on the nose.
