@@Retheraq Don’t pull his leg mate😂 Nothing that he can add improves perfection. But YES agree, he is well on his way to transpose a slim mean beautifull beast to a fat ugly nannycar. He should stop before it gets embarrassing. Like some loonie wanting to add perfecting touch ups to a Vincent Van Gogh painting. He is well out of his league!
Looks pretty awesome, mate. I have only one slight gripe, you missed the black separation line on the far left side of the picture, next to the lights. The 288/308 was always my favourite Ferrari, not least because Tom Selleck drove one (308) in Magnum P.I. in the 80s.
Man this looks sick!! One suggestion I have when modernizing older cars would be to thicken the A pillars. I feel like there’s a large distinction between old and new cars in that spot. Would make the redesign feel even more authentic! Keep up the great work man
Definitely a timeless design! They’ve gone pretty off course for sure. You did a great job too! I would have done more modern, hidden weather stripping around the windshield and driver window, a more 458 style font end without the 80’s chin slab, a smooth a-pillar-to-roof curvature, kept the c-pillar intake, implement the more modern “graphical” elements like headlights to show modern brand identity (maybe the DRL’s from the 296, 458, or sf90?
OMFG that was great, I love that airbrushed style, in fact I think one of my aunts has an old Ferrari poster in her house with this exact style, only thing I would change is the hue on the mirrors, make them a bit more orange.
Your work is always filled with passion and that inspires me to go after my own career which is in aircraft design Also could you please do an AC Cobra redesign video
I think the hood vents could’ve been a bit shorter in length to make space for some headlights like the new Countach headlights, instead of the led stripe in the grille
love the videos and the effort put in to the customs.. Very hard to top Pininfarina tho, a bit too American/muscle car at the end for me. still a dope rework all the same!
I love it. The squared-off but sleek design and the halved effect works wonders on this modernized design. I don't get the negative criticism though, I think it shows a completely different direction that a brand can proliferate in Lamborghini tried but didn't quite get it with the new Countach, however, this type of redesign has the potential to be great in new ways by keeping the essential details of the car. More so, the general "shape" of the car. I believe cars now are really fast, and that a couple of tenths could be knocked off in terms of 0 to 60, by sacrificing modern aerodynamics with a more squared design. Great job, really enjoyed the process. Cheers!
I would love to see redesign for Dodge Intrepid/Eagle Vision/Chrysler Concorde/LHS/New Yorker/300M/ in 2022 if Chrysler kept on building LH cars, so can you do it?
This Is probably your only redesign of any car that I don't think looks better than the original, it still looks amazing don't get me wrong, but the original 288 is probably in my top 3 best looking cars of all time, idk why I just love it. Good job modernizing it anyway and I look forward to what u do next :)
I absolutely love the 288 GTO! I think you did a great job at a refresh. The headlights are not right though. Makes it look like a shop with zero knowledge on headlight design took an LED strip and sad "Done!" Overall though I love what you've done!
Wonderful redesign! I personally would prefer headlights that are doubled (mirroring the top strip at the bottom, even perhaps split them in four parts in the middle too).
The original had the ungainly tall side mirror on the drivers side, not because they thought it looked good but it was so it would be functional and allow the driver to see back. The form was dictated by function. The new version may have a similar vision situation, so while the new mirror form looks nice, you have to ask yourself what the driver would be able to see using them in a real life situation. In industrial design, form should follow function and in this case the reason for the extreme elevation of the mirror may have been ignored in the redesign. Note, the one on the passenger side (which looked more normal) was much lower because it was functional at a lower height. A real challenge would be to assume the redesign would have a similar relationship of driver eye location to optimum mirror location and design a mirror that would satisfy that geometry in a manor that is not as ugly as the original.
Modern Ferraris have a very clinical clean, precision to the styling and it lacks an expression of passion. It feels like art created by AI. I love the 288 GTO, more so that the 355 or even the F40! This redesign is a beautiful evolution of the original 😍😍
Good job mate but here's my nit pick, if you're not going to have pop up headlights because they're illegal you can't then give it led lights that would also be illegal, they could never be mounted that low.
I just found your channel and this is really cool work which makes me want to redesign a car that's popular in Australia called the au falcon some people love the design and some people think it looks horrendous
To me its looks fine, except the front, that you have to re-do, the 4 light on the org. 288 GTO, for some reason you got rid of, and the front look to squared and flat. Otherwise very nice..
288 GTO is easily one of the most beautiful Ferraris ever made. Criminally underrated.
They sell for @ 3 million dollars. I'd say they're rated pretty well.
@@JGunit A F40 is much better known actually.
@@Retheraq I wouldn't argue with that, because I didn't argue with that.
@@JGunit what did you argue with then.
There is a saying.. If at first you don't succeed, try again.
So, go ahead, try again.

Finallyyy!!! I requested this a long time ago and it didnt look like you are going to do it. Am glad that you gave the 288gto a shot

I believe there are some things that should be left alone. The 288 is my 3rd favorite Ferrari.
Props to TaxTheRich for the greatest supercar videos ever made. The true Gigachad of supercar world.
Thank you for modernising my favourite ferrari.
0/60 of those days is almost the one of a 500abarth of today...incredible.
Pretty good. The 288 GTO is one of my all time favorites. I think it needs the vents on the front. Maybe a modernized version of them.
Gorgeous before and gorgeous after. WELL DONE!!!
I didn’t realize how bad I wanted Ferrari to revive the 288 GTO until I saw this. Thank you Sketch.
My favorite Ferrari of all time, thanks for upgraded rebirth of such an iconic masterpiece 💯
A very nice update. I do think the side air intake should be a bit bigger though.
This is my FAVORITE Ferrari.
Your bravery was well utilized
Sharp looking redesign! But, it’s looking like a Corvette design!😳
You did an awesome job with this one. Someone meeds to replicated it in real life. It’s that good
Congratulations!, this the first video you've done where your redesign didn't completely suck.
Amazing…..are you taking requests? How about e46 m3 next? Rx7/MR2??
308 to me the best looking design from the 70/80's
OMFG that was great, I love that airbrushed style, in fact I think one of my aunts has an old Ferrari poster in her house with this exact style, only thing I would change is the hue on the mirrors, make them a bit more orange.
Wish we could see your redesigns really produced, most of them are great, like this one too!
Very nice work as usual :) You should try the F308
Great inspiration for the Ferrari SP programme. Hope they get to see it!
Next do a Moderen Version of Audi Quattro please
You seen the Audi Hoonitron yet?
Audi already made a modern version of the Quattro, except you can't buy one *EXCEPTION: Ken Block*
@@ForzaMonkey yes I did saw it
That is interesting... the design is so quintessential and iconic.
Very nice! I would have gone a little further in reducing the sharpness of the nose but all in all a great modernization.

please do about the peugeot 308 at the 1980
Your redesign looks really awesome👌👌
The headlights could have been split in more elements instead of only one stripe, but rest is very good
you are a god!!!!!! its a perfect modernization
Wow this is amazing
What to do with de tomaso panterra. Its got almost lambo front with ferrari rear
What is the name of the program where you make these designs?

For the 4 square lights o the front you should have incorporated the pixel boxes from the Ioniq 5
Looks great.
AWESOME DESIGN-Update.... make a Bodykit out of this.
Could you do the ‘92 Supra
It looks good, not modern but look like a Ferrari widebody facelift kind of thing

Hope to see someday the Peugeot 206 cc an XR in this channel.
Plz 300sl gull-wing
what about pedestrian safety? they do jump a lot of curbs, 2nd only to the mustang curb magnet

"...massive V-12 engine" re: 250 GTO. It's actually a 3.0L V12. It's a pretty compact unit
I would really like to see a redesign of the 2011 VW Scirocco R, Maybe as an electric car..?
this is actually good, the 190e was just sus tho...
Do lancia stratos, please
You missed the Knight Rider LED Lights across the front of the Hood.
sick
You say you were feeling brave? Some might say suicidal, nevertheless you always seem to pull it off. Fantastic aesthetic.
Thought this was about great teacher onizuka for like a straight minute lmao
Do once a Opel/Vauxhall! Please
very cool design, but i would have made the front more "curvy", i think it would make the car look a lot mor modern
Do the e92 m3
You should redesign a semi truck
How about redesign the new 2022 Kenworth T680
Man, as always I am not disappointed! You have such an eye for this sort of thing its awesome to watch the designs unfold.
It looks great but at night you would not see anything only with those led's it lacks some proper ligights to actually see
