Gaster Blasters really work for Alphys. I mean, look at that capsule thing in the True Lab. It's a Gaster Blaster, clearly. Alphys must've hooked the enhancements onto the Gaster Blasters, after finding the blueprints and figuring out what the windings said. I feel really bad about this fight. Undyne is the reason I did genocide and the reason I reset. I just loved the theme too much, but she made me reset because I felt bad. If it wasn't for her, I would finish my genocide against my own will. If I did get past her, this video would've definitely done it.
I think it's just a coincidence.
I've never played Genocide because I love everyone too much for that

I consider it a lost opponent that Toby didn’t think of a boss battle like this for Alphys in the genocide route
* I know this is 6 years late but I’d just like to appreciate the leitmotifs chosen for the music here.
* It actually starts with Battle Against a True Hero, which is really nice, it shows that Alphys is just trying to be like Undyne.
* The Alphys and CORE leitmotifs then take front-and-centre, as the main pieces associated with Alphys, but True Hero remains in the background with the Spear of Justice leitmotif coming in in the backing too, keeping that hint of Undyne.
* There’s the very prominent moment of the Undertale leitmotif, showing Alphys’ connection to determination, which is another very nice piece.
* Also correct me if I’m wrong but I think there’s a bit of the ASGORE leitmotif hidden in part of the backing too? Again, a nice relation to her being Asgore’s royal scientist.

Nope, Alphys had determination in her body. Monsters can't handle determination in their bodies, cause them to melt. Turning them into amalgamates. Papyrus had "determination" injected in to him turning him into one, then sans had too much contact with him, making him join into him.

Doing a genocide run is hard for me. Not because of the battles but because all the characters are so innocent and value life and it's very emotional to see them die. I know it's just a video game but no other game gets us attached to its characters as much as undertale
Completely agree. I couldn't bring myself to do a genocide run. After killing toriel on my first run, I felt terrible and had to reload and try to find another way out of the fight. Flowey remembered, and I thought that would ruin my pacifist run. Such a great game.

I would have liked this fan game more if they actually put in Alphys's real attacks. You actually see them once in the game. In the pacifist run, where everybody helps you from flowey with their attacks. You can see that Alphys has some flash thunder looking thing. If she actually had that in this fan game i would be so amazed! that would be awesome. But of course, it's gaster blasters... just like every other fan game...
Edit: i just noticed that there is actually those attacks in the game. But still. She should have more of those, since those are her attacks. And NOT gaster blasters ._.
