I've mostly used the guitar volume knob for sweelsl/linear taper. My question is' how close'assuming it's audio taper' how does the sweep in comparison vs matches up to a linear taper pot' alot of travel? being as small as it is.
Putting together my first Pedal board- I got this pedal, plus an awesome Black Country Customs " The Secret Path" Reverb pedal... But totally new to all this... Can you do a video how to connect the volume with the reverb, like how and what to use? Show the visual how to connect it all please and thank you, God Bless!
@@cassandrahuskey8866 hi there! You can check out my video on patch cables, but the answer to your question is pretty straightforward. Just plug into the volume pedal first with an instrument cable, then use a patch cable to connect to the reverb pedal. If your reverb pedal has two inputs/outputs, I’d go with the Left/mono input and output.
I was using a Goodrich pedal but the POT went bad, I had a hard time finding a replacement and someone to repair it so I bought the Hilton and eliminated the POT altogether. Best thing I did and now I’m getting the true sound of the instrument.
I know Keith Hilton and his pedal is fantastic. But the Goodrich is a great pedal too. Contact Tom Bradshaw, or Bill Ferguson for Goodrich service and parts. Both are steel guitar experts and dealers for Goodrich. I have replaced the pots on several Goodrich pedals with the Dunlop long life 500k pots. Or you can sell me your pedal.
Hello, I had a delay going into a reverb pedal. The key is to have your reverb mix and decay set really high. You can use a volume pedal for swells if you like, or just use your volume knob. Hope that helps.
Great pedal review. I was looking for an in-depth look on exactly this one. Beauty guitar too!
@@ChristopherAllen-yx1ug thanks man!

Good video. Thanks for the review and explaination.
Thanks brother! Appreciate the kind words and glad it helped!
I currently use a Hilton for my pedal steel guitar. Probably the best volume pedal I’ve had.
I’ll have to check one out man! Thx for the comment!

@@Junior-jw1bb Love that idea. I used to have a Goodrich as well!

Awesome video man! Thanks
Appreciate you brother!
Thanks for the info.
Hi ,could you please explain what was your signal chain to achieve that kinda "whaleish" sound on the intro 😢 ?

@RockTheJourney Thanks for the reply, gonna give it a shot 😃.Was the volume pedal placed before or after the amp 🤔?
Hi, Can you use it as a dive bomber expression (tremolo bar efffect) pedal with a Helix Stomp?
Also curious if this can be paired with a pitchfork
@@Unholy_Killjoy I bought the Sonicake passive volume/expr. Perfect price/value.
Nice man! Haven’t tried one of those yet. You like it?
If you play strat your volume control is right under your pinky, you dont really need this pedal :)
