If you are looking at the X-ray, the pointy end to the left is called the acromion. It's a process that comes out at the end. The clavicle starts after that, but the break looks very close to the acromioclavicular (AC) joint 🤔 sorry to see this happen to ya Link. Hope you feel better, much love!
This is exactly what I was thinking, it looks to me more that he broke his acromion and not his collar bone, as the AC joint is to the right of the fracture

😹
seriously though hope he has a speedy recovery.
Broke my collarbone as a kid and had the exact reaction-immediately moved and rotated my shoulder and felt relieved and then a split second later my body completely immobilized it.
RIP Links bell. Feel better ❤
Link roasting Rhett and calling him out is hilarious
I similarly broke my right clavicle when I was 10 by doing a gymnastics tumble incorrectly, so I sympathize with the pain Link. I can still feel the healed break 15 years later, though it mostly healed in the first 6 weeks.
Lol link's adorable haha "I'm into music and ham." Haha
Complacency kills! Good reminder to remain focused when you're doing anything where risk is involved. Even if you've done it 1000 times.
Thank you to Links Angel 😇
feel good soon Link! you handle things a lot like i do, sometimes the thinking/mental part of it is worse than whatevers actually happening. you do such incredible stuff it gives me hope!
I broke my collarbone back in September mountain biking. I had a gmm shirt on and they had to cut it off. I had to get surgery to repair mine. This is probably the worst thing to break because you can't do anything. Everything is harder to do.
Link, feel better soon and let your loved ones wait on you hand and foot. You deserve it!
Ngl I came here this week to hear how Link's ham went this year.
Imagine Rhett without Link? Doesn't work...but them together? Always 💯💯💯💯💯
*ALL HAIL THE KIND AND MIGHTY KATIE!!!*
We all need a "Katie" in our life❣ Also if you ride, make sure to get a bell, if you need Katie's help, you gotta make her hears you!
Thanks for the rec on White Lotus. Just binged both seasons and I loved it. I agree with Link that Season One had a more lighthearted feel to it, but I enjoyed the second season for the intrigue.
I broke my ankle this summer and what was most surprising was the lack of pain after the initial break.
Yup. I have very brittle bones and have broken a lot. The key is to try to get everything back into place before the swelling and legit pain start up. It's an unpleasant task with the crunching, but it saves an ER trip 🙃
I broke mine a few years back, and legit thought I just rolled it, until the pain became unbearable 2 weeks later. 🤦🏻♀️
@@MayimHastings Damn you're a straight soldier! Lol wow
@@t.j._fury lol thx. Wouldn't recommend it for normal people, you can really screw your future self, but im just not going to the ER every few months for the small bones as long as im getting a strong pulse and good bloodflow lol.
I hope Link shaves soon.
this ep holds such a good memory for me. was listening to it in the car during the 8h melbourne to sydney drive 💗
Link talking about drying himself with the hairdryer made me think of that woman from Sorority Girls who says her morning routine is “Put a layer of fake tan on, HAIRDRY MA BODEH, put another one on, HAIRDRY MA BODEH, and then if I’m going out I might put another one on, and then HAIRDRY MA BODEH!”
Is Link a secret sorority girl? 😂
this feels like some old school gmm, i love it
I had a similar accident but on a dirt bike where I got pitched off and broke my left collar bone. That first few minutes are definitely a weird time where your head is not totally there but you are not head injury off like. Glad you are ok Link. This show was classic Rhett too. Happy Holidays Gentlemen!
Dang! Rhett was 6'4" at 14. Sometimes I forget how gigantic he is
Mountain biking is different than this but Never bike on roads with headphones in. I had a college professor who lost his sister when she got hit by a motorcycle she didn't hear coming as she biked along side the road.
long live the serpent king!
🐍 👑
Wishing you a speedy recovery Link.
I honestly had a hard time listening because of imaginary pain thanks to breaking my arm pretty bad when I was on the school. It gave me goosebumps and a hard time. But I'm glad that you're ok Link! ♥. Same to you, Rhett
This is exactly what I was thinking, it looks to me more that he broke his acromion and not his collar bone, as the AC joint is to the right of the fracture

if theres no “hold on I’m just coming too, evidently I’ve broken my right collarbone” joke i’m rioting
Wishing you a speedy recovery, Link!!
Link, I totally understand how it feels to try to relearn everything with just one arm. I had shoulder surgery on my dominant side, and it was so difficult and a completely different mindset relearning how to use just one arm for everything.
I was in a car accident 3 weeks ago and broke my wrist in three places. Two weeks ago, I ended up having surgery to place two plates and several screws. I definitely relate to Link’s one-handed difficulties. I gave up on the hair a few days ago and got a pixie cut.
I’m glad our Linskter is fine “kind of” …take care of yourself gently & let that wound heal peacefully & don’t be to hard on yourself….And I’m anticipating seeing the new tattoo too & contrasting colors of your damage shoulder….
Plus, thanks to Katie, the Great Angel who help our favorite sweet lovable internet doufus…. I’ll be not surprised if Link receives a bunch of the new bells 🔔 at his doorstep before/after Christmas 😂
Ironically, 24 year ago, he broke his pelvis snowboarding, and now broke his collarbone while biking and didn’t say “Hold On I’m just coming to, evidently I hurt my right shoulder”…😜 (new T-shirt idea)
lol OF COURSE Link injured himself! Thanks Katie for being his guardian angel! He really needs one! Wish you a quick recovery, Linkster!
