Im looking for loud and quality sound, im buying a 13 sierra 1500 and was hoping to just do some upgrade to the speaker system. I dont know where to start. after watching this it seems like i should start with Down for sound. but would it be okay to just run it through factory wiring and an aftermarket head unit? or do i need an AMP to wire the speakers through?

Make sure that your amp at 2 ohms puts out enough power if so then yes I run 8 speakers in my truck off one amp
I run 8 speakers at 2 ohms a pair on a 4 channel , it’s either get a beefy 4 channel or 2 smaller ones
