      I’m glad you enjoyed it. I really like how you created a customized squad view for preseason. Is there a way that we can share it with the viewers?

    Excellent video mate. Ive never put a lot of thought into pre-season training but some good tips I'll take away from this.

    Things I've noticed in Football Manager preseason:
    - Never ever lose friendly matches if you're a team with high expectations. Sporting might be the second biggest team in the country right now, and depending on your squad' or board expectations, losing to a lower league team can severely affect morale.
    - Excessive physical training (as FM defaults to) will wreck your players one by one.
    - Have a clear idea of what playing philosophy you want to implement and know how to get your players to fit into it. For instance, I'm a big fan of Positional play, which requires heavy training to improve mental attributes and some technique skills.
    - Lastly, invest in tactical and team cohesion sessions. They don't generate fatigue and are crucial for team understanding as a whole.

      Perfect. If you leave everything with your staff team, your players will be dead before the season even starts. They will be unfit and injured. Try my method and let me know if you get better results. 🤝

    All methodologies work as long you stick to them and have a clear path to accomplish them.
    By the way, why don't you make a video talking about the training sessions? They're crucial to the whole season development and there's nothing clear on FM's notes.

      Great suggestion! I’ll add it to the list for sure.

    And how do you prevent so many injures during the season? What is your training like then?
    Great vid btw... ty

      Thank you!!! I need to make a video about how to “prevent” injuries during the season. Would it be helpful? It’s actually combination of things including (1) squad rotation (2) training workload; avoid using extra sessions and take it easy during busy months; there is a screen that shows you when injuries usually peak; (3) give players rest when needed and (4) manage team instructions carefully; playing high press for 90 minutes won’t help.

    And individual training and rest setting during preseason?

    • @FMNATICS
      @FMNATICS  5 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      I don’t recommend individual training during pre season. It will only add more to the workload. I start individual training once pre season is over. I added some rest sessions during pre season, but I also use a lot of recovery which is more effective to avoid injuries.

      @@FMNATICS So position/role/duty only and not additional focus?

    • @FMNATICS
      @FMNATICS  5 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Correct. You can set a new (individual) position/role/duty for your players during pre season. The tactical training and game time should help them learn more about their new position. I would avoid “additional focus” during pre season though. Does that make sense?
