I've been using Double Wear for 25 years. Nothing else that I've used looks as good as this AND stays put on my face for 5 hours. I have super oily skin , acne, acne scars and am now 62 years old, so the mottled stuff on my cheeks & nose have appeared, some deep wrinkles and some saggy skin has arrived. Estee Lauder is still the best for me. It doesn't settle in my creases, covers my cavernous pores and doesn't highlight crepey skin. My skin is so oily, I can't wear any eye make-up, after 1 hour I've got panda eyes, but this foundation looks fresh on me for 3 hours, looks good for 6 hours & not bad for all day.
I love this foundation I have very sensitive skin,& I have no irritation, with this product, it is magic, it just glides on, so light, & very natural, covers my scars, & lasts the whole day, don't need concealer! after a professional recommended this doule wear foundation, I wil not go back to all the other foundations, that I tried, & wasted my money on, I'm saving lots of money on ther products, it lasts for a long time, defiantly worth every penny ♥😍

I've had days where my makeup looks so good, even after a long full day, and I don't want to wash it off. It's that damn good! Also -- I'm new here, but if you've never tried Estee Lauder's Advanced Night Repair Serum, do it!!! It has been life-changing as well. I have extremely oily skin -- like my face would literally be an oil slick at the end of the day, it was so gross. That serum cleared up all the redness, reduced the puffiness in my cheeks, and magically made all the oil vanish. My skin is finally normal for once and I never have to blot the oil away because there is none! It's incredible stuff.

Tip for my dry skin girlies. I have very dry skin and live in a very cold climate. I use one drop of facial oil mixed in with this foundation and it works so well. Beautiful dewy finish but still full coverage.
i got this foundation tested at an airport (my whole face and i got the pump for free too) and it stayed throughout a 8 hour flight while i napped too and it looked the same! i have dry skin and it worked perfectly, defo recommendd if ur looking for a new foundation

I use this foundation for going out all the time for the last 2 years. I’m 41 with oily skin and a few wrinkles and this for me, doesn’t settle in my pores and wrinkles and definitely lasts 12+, I love it 😍

Good to have your confirmation that Double Wear is great! I've been using it for 20 years. I have super oily skin, acne, scars, ginormous pores and now I'm getting old - am 61 (with cystic acne!). I've used so many different foundations, always go back to Double Wear. my shine starts to break through after 3 hours and the acne starts to show after 5 hours, but at least it down't oxidise or pool into my pores.
It’s an amazing foundation. I starts my day at 6am so, foundation starts at 430am. I always get compliments how my foundation always looks fresh even after working 8 hours of work. It’s the best !

Literally ADORE this foundation! I wear 1C1, and being extremely fair it’s hard to find one that doesn’t wash me out completely; however, this one gets the job done 10/10! I apply with a beauty blender for a lighter coverage, and it holds up for an entire 12hour shift. I get the most compliments on my skin when I wear it, and it’s not heavy. You wear it the entire time and it doesn’t even begin to feel cakey or like it’s too much.
I'm a super oily skin type and I love that foundation to death ❤ I wore it on my wedding day and never not even once had to touch it up and even after a lot of crying, maybe a little bit of sweating and definitely insanely much hugging it stayed in perfectly for almost 16h
If anyone else don't like this foundation as an actual foundation, or have it in a colour that doesn't suit you (like me), it's the BEST to use as a spot concealer under your regular foundation! Just let the "concealer" dry before foundation, and it'll look flawless ❤️

Yeah...it's Soooo Difficult to lighten the shade of this. Is easy to darken an applied foundation with a swish of bronzer. Liquid illuminator takes the matte look out of this Double Wear if you like a non-matte finish, or a sweep of Hourglass powder (the slightly highlighting one) can do the trick...
My grandmother who is 89 has used this foundation for as long as I can remember. This foundation was released in 1997, I was born in 1995 so I would say this one is a keeper. My gran mixes her foundation with calamine lotion and her moisturizer to make it a bit more light-wear.
Once I tried this foundation I never went back to any other. Truly the Holy Grail. Also something I haven't seen praised enough is how good the Neutral shades are. I find it really hard to shade match in other brands with my pale and Neutral skin but the shade Ecru (1N2) is perfect.
I love this foundation! However, it irritates me that there is a pump available for an extra $10. Here in the southern US, I pay $42 for this stuff. Asking for another ten is just outrageous to me. 😕

It is definitely worth the hype. Best full coverage foundation. Love the matte finish and after using this for the last six years- I have thoroughly adjusted to it not coming with a pump. 😊
Since I started using this foundation a year or two ago, I would never use anything else! It is the best thing ever! I am not really bothered that there is no pump as I can control how much I use better without a pump. I also apply it with my fingers. For anyone who is new to it, I would recommend using a good moisturiser or a primer as the foundation can dry your skin quite a bit. One tip: instead of concealer use a slightly lighter highlighter as you would look much better if your eyes underneath are lighter than your face ;)
I have worn this foundation now for a number of years. I love the shades and the fact you can apply it in the morning with no need for concealer and it lasts until you want to remove it. When I try other foundations they may be alright but I always come back to Estee Lauder Double Wear.
Estee Lauder is the best. My mua used it for my wedding day last year.. Mind you, it was late June, 40 degrees in the shade in Croatia... and it lasted!!! The whole day and night. And no concealer. The only issue was the shade... I'm way paler than theire palest shade... But the formula is awesome!
There are a few new shades which actually fit me and I am pretty pale! 1N0 Porcelain, 1W0 Warm Porcelain and even 0N1 Alabaster! Feel Unique sells them. You should take a look! 😃😃
@@allexxyzz99 Yes!! I was so happy about it! 1N1 Ivory Nude was too dark for me and was the lightest neutral shade for a few years. 1N0 Porcelain matches perfectly, 0N1 Alabaster might even be too light. I believe Pale and Freckled has swatches of the Alabaster shade in a video, she has a channel.
Love this foundation! I work 24+ hour shifts and this stuff lasts on my combination oily skin. I only need to add a touch of powder to my nose once or twice per (long) shift.

I have super dry skin so use the smash box oil primer underneath its the only foundation that last on top of it and looks moisturised and dewy all day I love it x

I went to a make up artist as I was going on a special occasion and she used this foundation mixed with maybaline for me and it stayed on my face without moving all night...... It's literally amazing especially in combination with Urban Decay Naked Skin conceler 😊
This is an absolutely amazing foundation. I need medium coverage, and I have combination skin. Bombay is super humid, and a foundation that lasts 8+ hours is such a blessing. Also, you need a pea sized amount to cover the whole face. It gives a skin like finish, and sets so well. Definitely recommend!
Hi Steph, I have a really oily skin and this foundation is the only one that controls oil. It stays put and doesn’t look or is heavy on the skin . Glad you like it too!
Hello Stephanie, I am a woman much older than you from Barcelona-Spain. Many years ago I used this Fundation for the first time and applied it with a brush and it was so "Mascara Effect" that I ended up throwing it away. But, about 4 years ago, thanks to a make-up artist I "learned" to apply it properly and now I love it. I could not live without her‼️ Since of all the bases I have had high brand, it is the best (My Tone is Pebble )‼️ The one that makes the skin more beautiful, does not transfer (even if you wear white shirts) and lasts all day‼️ And although I am against sponges, I recognize that this Fundation has to be applied with the wet Beauty Blender (Not with Brush), so that it is Natural, as the make-up artist taught me. I’ve been using Estée Lauder double wear foundation exclusively for 10 years. It’s the most natural looking med/full coverage foundation as it just feels like fresh even skin! I have dry skin so when my skin is really dry I will add one drop of beauty oil to about 4 pumps of the foundation and stir it together to add a nice hydrated look to it over my dry skin. This trick makes the foundation so beautifully glowey and dewy! I have periodically tried a few other high rated foundations, and I just cant ever get over what an amazing foundation the double wear is, and I haven’t found anything else that’s like it! 🥰
I also LOVE the Estee Lauder lip balm!! It makes my lips super soft and my teeth look more white! It has a veeeeery subtle shimmer and give me a sensual look without overdoing it
i went to my local belk store and got matched , i stopped wearing makeup due to the fact the makeup i was using was breaking me out. (drugstore makeup) so i’ve learned you can’t be cheap when it comes to makeup and any skin related products haha so i remember last year getting matched for lancôme and i wanted to like it but the coverage just wasn’t enough for me so when i got matched yesterday for estee i instantly fell in love with their line! estee will be the only makeup and skin care products that i use on my face now for the most part. i love the coverage and the long wear !! 🥰
I've been using this foundation since I worked for Lauder 15 years ago. I also mix it sometimes with a tinted moisturizer we get here in SA from Sorbet, if I want a more luminous full coverage. Love my Double Wear 💖💖💖

I used to swear by this, but switched to the light. I found it was difficult to wash off & for some reason it stopped looking good on my skin. So I switched to luminous silk.
Omg one time I slept in this foundation... I know it's bad it was a late night...woke up and it looked legit EXACTLY the same. Absolutely my fave, so so so good.
Coming from Texas this is the only makeup I use. I’ve been using it for years and it is Heat and Humidity proof. I use it with the Estée Lauders primer and let me tell you ...IT DOES NOT MELT in summer. Looks great all day and so worth the price.
I've never used any other foundation for 6ish years. Every time I buy foundation I buy this. I'm still sad I left one at my ex's 4 years ago. They oxidize in the bottle very quick so make sure to keep it in a cool storage spot.
Holy grail foundation! Use this bad boy every single day and it with stands everything no matter the heat, my sweat rain or even dry skin/cold. Lasts me forever also. I highly recommend this stuff xx
One major thing about the Stay in Place, is hydrate your face, under eyes, etc. it will dry down, and tightens the skin on your face. It's great foundation, but it's a very matte foundation. hi , i have used only estee lauder all my working life as a registered nurse and it absolutely needed to last without touchups being a intensive care nurse no time to actually look at my makeup , so for over twenty five years it was my favourite, all my skin care too , too busy to go shopping . only when i stopped work i found charlotte tilbury so now i have half and half , i really enjoy both , my love stay safe liz x by the way i still use double wear ! love it i will always use it ! but in the winter i add a drop of night wear serum in
I absolutely love this foundation. I only have to apply one pump on my hand and it's enough to cover my whole face. If I want a bit more coverage to cover redness, then I apply 1 1/2 pump. Plus it literally does stay on for more than 24hrs. Been buying this at my local Macy's store since I discovered it. Must buy! Ohh and bottles last me on average 4-6 months.

I also loooove the Cody airspun powder over the top of it for the longest wear and super smooth skin. Just be aware you need a good balm or oil cleanser to remove this because it’s like cement 😂 great video!

I used to use it, but then I went cruelty free, and Estee Lauder is now dead to me, until they stop selling in China (because that's the country that insists everything it sells is tested on animals). However, despite what people are saying below, the Primark Longwear is totally as good. I won't call it a dupe, as the ingredients aren't the same, but it does the same thing and lasts just as long if you blend it properly. I was so relieved to find it! And it's just been Leaping Bunny certified so it's all good.

It’s the only foundation that will stay on all day… Even after wearing a face mask over my nose whilst tattooing! Plus doesn’t settle into smile lines! If you want it to look slightly more natural try mixing it with an oil free moisturiser.. it just sheers it out slightly but still looks awesome! 💗🌸🌺

This weekend was my husband’s army reunion and I used this all weekend. It’s practically f****** bomb proof 😳🤣 I took some proper scrubbing and cleansing to get it off, and after wearing it all day and night, it looked like I’d only just applied it 😍 (for those curious, I have very oily skin). Also, you can buy a pump for £5 extra 😱 But I’m a sucker and bought it anyway, after I’d just spent £32.50 on a foundation 🙄🤦🏼♀️😂

I love this foundation! However, it irritates me that there is a pump available for an extra $10. Here in the southern US, I pay $42 for this stuff. Asking for another ten is just outrageous to me. 😕

It is definitely worth the hype. Best full coverage foundation. Love the matte finish and after using this for the last six years- I have thoroughly adjusted to it not coming with a pump. 😊
Since I started using this foundation a year or two ago, I would never use anything else! It is the best thing ever! I am not really bothered that there is no pump as I can control how much I use better without a pump. I also apply it with my fingers. For anyone who is new to it, I would recommend using a good moisturiser or a primer as the foundation can dry your skin quite a bit. One tip: instead of concealer use a slightly lighter highlighter as you would look much better if your eyes underneath are lighter than your face ;)

I have worn this foundation now for a number of years. I love the shades and the fact you can apply it in the morning with no need for concealer and it lasts until you want to remove it. When I try other foundations they may be alright but I always come back to Estee Lauder Double Wear.

Estee Lauder is the best. My mua used it for my wedding day last year.. Mind you, it was late June, 40 degrees in the shade in Croatia... and it lasted!!! The whole day and night. And no concealer. The only issue was the shade... I'm way paler than theire palest shade... But the formula is awesome!
There are a few new shades which actually fit me and I am pretty pale! 1N0 Porcelain, 1W0 Warm Porcelain and even 0N1 Alabaster! Feel Unique sells them. You should take a look! 😃😃

@@allexxyzz99 Yes!! I was so happy about it! 1N1 Ivory Nude was too dark for me and was the lightest neutral shade for a few years. 1N0 Porcelain matches perfectly, 0N1 Alabaster might even be too light. I believe Pale and Freckled has swatches of the Alabaster shade in a video, she has a channel.

Love this foundation! I work 24+ hour shifts and this stuff lasts on my combination oily skin. I only need to add a touch of powder to my nose once or twice per (long) shift.

I have super dry skin so use the smash box oil primer underneath its the only foundation that last on top of it and looks moisturised and dewy all day I love it x

This is an absolutely amazing foundation. I need medium coverage, and I have combination skin. Bombay is super humid, and a foundation that lasts 8+ hours is such a blessing. Also, you need a pea sized amount to cover the whole face. It gives a skin like finish, and sets so well. Definitely recommend!

Hello Stephanie, I am a woman much older than you from Barcelona-Spain. Many years ago I used this Fundation for the first time and applied it with a brush and it was so "Mascara Effect" that I ended up throwing it away. But, about 4 years ago, thanks to a make-up artist I "learned" to apply it properly and now I love it. I could not live without her‼️ Since of all the bases I have had high brand, it is the best (My Tone is Pebble )‼️ The one that makes the skin more beautiful, does not transfer (even if you wear white shirts) and lasts all day‼️ And although I am against sponges, I recognize that this Fundation has to be applied with the wet Beauty Blender (Not with Brush), so that it is Natural, as the make-up artist taught me. I recommend that you apply it to her and you will fall in love with this fundation‼️

I’ve been using Estée Lauder double wear foundation exclusively for 10 years. It’s the most natural looking med/full coverage foundation as it just feels like fresh even skin! I have dry skin so when my skin is really dry I will add one drop of beauty oil to about 4 pumps of the foundation and stir it together to add a nice hydrated look to it over my dry skin. This trick makes the foundation so beautifully glowey and dewy! I have periodically tried a few other high rated foundations, and I just cant ever get over what an amazing foundation the double wear is, and I haven’t found anything else that’s like it! 🥰

i went to my local belk store and got matched , i stopped wearing makeup due to the fact the makeup i was using was breaking me out. (drugstore makeup) so i’ve learned you can’t be cheap when it comes to makeup and any skin related products haha so i remember last year getting matched for lancôme and i wanted to like it but the coverage just wasn’t enough for me so when i got matched yesterday for estee i instantly fell in love with their line! estee will be the only makeup and skin care products that i use on my face now for the most part. i love the coverage and the long wear !! 🥰

I've been using this foundation since I worked for Lauder 15 years ago. I also mix it sometimes with a tinted moisturizer we get here in SA from Sorbet, if I want a more luminous full coverage. Love my Double Wear 💖💖💖

I found it was difficult to wash off & for some reason it stopped looking good on my skin. So I switched to luminous silk.

Coming from Texas this is the only makeup I use. I’ve been using it for years and it is Heat and Humidity proof. I use it with the Estée Lauders primer and let me tell you ...IT DOES NOT MELT in summer. Looks great all day and so worth the price.

I've never used any other foundation for 6ish years. Every time I buy foundation I buy this. I'm still sad I left one at my ex's 4 years ago. They oxidize in the bottle very quick so make sure to keep it in a cool storage spot.

Holy grail foundation! Use this bad boy every single day and it with stands everything no matter the heat, my sweat rain or even dry skin/cold. Lasts me forever also. I highly recommend this stuff xx
One major thing about the Stay in Place, is hydrate your face, under eyes, etc. it will dry down, and tightens the skin on your face. It's great foundation, but it's a very matte foundation. Your makeup brushes look like the new Eco Tools brushes that are like tooth brushes. I think they came out I late 2018. Thanks for sharing your video. Thanks so much! Cheers!

hi , i have used only estee lauder all my working life as a registered nurse and it absolutely needed to last without touchups being a intensive care nurse no time to actually look at my makeup , so for over twenty five years it was my favourite, all my skin care too , too busy to go shopping . only when i stopped work i found charlotte tilbury so now i have half and half , i really enjoy both , my love stay safe liz x by the way i still use double wear ! love it i will always use it ! but in the winter i add a drop of night wear serum in
I absolutely love this foundation. I only have to apply one pump on my hand and it's enough to cover my whole face. If I want a bit more coverage to cover redness, then I apply 1 1/2 pump. Plus it literally does stay on for more than 24hrs. Been buying this at my local Macy's store since I discovered it. Must buy! Ohh and bottles last me on average 4-6 months.

I’ve used it for 10 years! So glad you’re on board. Try the Estée Lauder matte primer with it- amazing! I also loooove the Cody airspun powder over the top of it for the longest wear and super smooth skin. Just be aware you need a good balm or oil cleanser to remove this because it’s like cement 😂 great video!
If you haven’t tried the cover FX power play foundation you need to!!!!! Estee is my all time favorite and I ALWAYS keep a bottle well I decided to go for a new foundation and the cover FX power play is OMG😍😍😍😍😍 I LOVE it super amazing!!!!! ♥️♥️♥️

I used to wear this all the time but found it literally dried like paint there was absolutely no way I was putting concealer on top or any other liquid products.... maybe I did something wrong! You look amazing!!! Xx

I used to use it, but then I went cruelty free, and Estee Lauder is now dead to me, until they stop selling in China (because that's the country that insists everything it sells is tested on animals). However, despite what people are saying below, the Primark Longwear is totally as good. I won't call it a dupe, as the ingredients aren't the same, but it does the same thing and lasts just as long if you blend it properly. I was so relieved to find it! And it's just been Leaping Bunny certified so it's all good.

You look lovely! My fav foundation! Have tried so many but always go back to this one! It’s the only foundation that will stay on all day… Even after wearing a face mask over my nose whilst tattooing! Plus doesn’t settle into smile lines! If you want it to look slightly more natural try mixing it with an oil free moisturiser.. it just sheers it out slightly but still looks awesome! 💗🌸🌺

This weekend was my husband’s army reunion and I used this all weekend. It’s practically f****** bomb proof 😳🤣 I took some proper scrubbing and cleansing to get it off, and after wearing it all day and night, it looked like I’d only just applied it 😍 (for those curious, I have very oily skin).
Also, you can buy a pump for £5 extra 😱 But I’m a sucker and bought it anyway, after I’d just spent £32.50 on a foundation 🙄🤦🏼♀️😂
