I’m dry and old and I’ve found that this foundation gives me a subtle hint of youth. Smooths out the fine lines and pores and it wore nicely through the day. 😌
All due respect- are you older Millenial or older? I'm an older Millenial on a tight budget and I was looking for someone around my age to really give me a hint as to how it might work on my skin. I need a good drugstore foundation, cuz even the one I was splurging on before is starting to not look so great on me now.
@@stephanieswilley-arnold6886 have you tried the Maybelline Dream BB Fresh? I'm older and this stuff is amazing, gives a beautiful finish. I try all kinds of foundation products but keep coming back to it. It is about the same price as the Elf in the video.

Lol I'm probably older .a 60s baby but Gen x anyway I live in Vegas and I got normal combo skin and this foundation is average. The elf camo cc foundation wears 10x better on my skin and more youthful

I'm 64 and have combo skin. This foundation actually works beautifully for me and is so budget friendly that I don't see myself using anything else anytime soon.
I'm glad I decided to read the comments, I also have combo skin and the non oil part of my face is either fine or drier then the Sahara desert 😂 but I've been thinking about getting it so I'm glad I know I can!!
I bought this last week because for $8 why not give it a try? And was pleasantly surprised! I’m a few months out from 38 with very dry skin, so foundation has become tricky as of late, but I found this laid down nicely and didn’t emphasize any fine lines or texture. I particularly noticed a difference around my eyes/crows feet compared to my Fenty foundation -the e.l.f. one wore substantially better and I had almost no creasing after a 9 hour work day. Definitely worth it for the price point!

@@magathax1587 I tried it with a brush, sponge, and using my fingers (I wouldn’t have dreamed of doing that before my skin started aging! Lol) and found it did nicely with each, but was best when I did a base cover with a brush and smoothed out with my fingers or a sponge after.
Were you using the Eaze Drops? It's what I've been using, but I've turned 41 now and have noticed it starting to noticeably settle in my Crow's feet- even after setting it. It stays if I bake, but I threw that out of my routine about 2 years ago. My skin has gotten entirely too dry.
@@stephanieswilley-arnold6886 yesss and I had a horrible come to Jesus moment in a Dick’s sporting goods recently 😂 saw myself in bright harsh lighting and about died, told my husband I’d meet him in the car. I hadn’t realized how badly it was settling into the lines near my eyes but once seen it could not be unseen, so I’ve been hunting for something less offensive on my dry 80s baby skin.

Thanks for the honest review Robert! 💜 Elf is my go to for colour matching but the hydro CC cream (also glowy finish) slides off my oily skin so I’m not entirely surprised this does the same! Still cracking value for money!
I have oily skin too but love the wet n wild tinted hydrator! Despite its name it gives a satin matte look

I just started the video so I haven’t got to your conclusion yet, but I have been SEARCHING for a foundation that doesn’t look cakey and looks good with my textured skin and I love this one on my skin ❤ I also use it with the cooling stick primer or with the liquid putty primer. And when I bought it online they helped me pick out the perfect shade for me! I’ve never had one that matches so well! ❤❤

I love it. Im 54 and oily with pores you could skateboard in and it made my face look smooth and more youthful for the entire day. I do use powder but I definitely wear it more than my Dior now.

I didn't grab it because I already have another elf foundation I like, but after watching this review, I'll definitely go get it. I have drier skin, so it probably will be ok

I’m 72 yrs old, and I have crazy combo skin worse in summer, that I get so oily, greasy I don’t even wear anything on my face in hot summer days except a spritz of toner! I also sweat a lot! I haven’t tried the foundations yet, one in light neutral 21, and a cool one, I forget the numbers. Anywaz, hope they keep til cool fall weather! You reviews and Beautiful and Bothered really help me with my makeup choices! Can’t thank you enough! Plus your dispositions and personalities are wonderful! 🙏🏻👏🏼🥰🌹❤️✌️🕊️
I bought this as soon as it launched. I have normal-oily skin, with my t-zone being the oiliest part of my face, and as long as I use a primer and powder my t-zone, this is really nice. I do have an issue with the shade range running a bit yellow. I have fair, cool-leaning neutral skin and have the shade 11 Fair Neutral. I can't go any lighter, but the next cool shade up would be too dark. So I mix this with another more neutral foundation I own (the ShopMissA A20 Lab Soft Matte Foundation in L1 ($4)) and it's perfect! I just need a tiny bit to get a soft, medium coverage, then go in with concealer anywhere I want a bit more coverage. Easy peasy. Even though I have to mix two foundations to get a shade match, I'm okay with it because both foundations total $12! I love a good bargain!

I absolutely love the double ended brush its my constant go too every day brush and its not going to break the bank love elf brushes they decent quality and can be washed and used over and over. Dosent fall apart ❤❤❤❤

I love this foundation. Im 44 and it sits really nicely on my skin, doesn’t emphasize fine lines or texture. I did have to powder my T zone throughout the day but that’s normal for me.
I love E.L.F. products. They’re a great way to go if you are just starting out or are on a budget. I’m going to give this a try because I do want to explore the dewy/glossy/satin look and I do have dry skin.

I tried it Friday night and I LOVED IT! I’m usually a full coverage/matte girlie but the finish on that foundation is beautiful. And it sat so good on my skin.

I tried this foundation today for the first time because it finally came back in stock at my store. As an oily skin girl, I was disappointed. it sat on top of my skin and accentuated a lot of texture. To give it a fair try, tomorrow I will use it with my usual primer and see if that changes anything. I’m normally a full coverage double wear Estée Lauder girl but anyone that is looking for some thing a little lighter for summer I would definitely recommend the wet and wild bare focus tinted hydrator. Normally a full coverage, oily girl like me would run in the opposite direction of some thing called a tinted hydrator, but I swear this stuff is amazing and only cost six dollars.

As a combo girlie with a cool/neutral complexion - same. Sits great in some spots but it’s a nightmare in others. Honestly that’s all foundations for me. I just need two brands to sit down and make the same exact colors. One that works for the drier and one for the oily - I’ve tried within brands and still doesn’t work right.

Ok but, that Blush you used is AMAZING! Not only is the color so beautiful on your skin, but it also looks like a beautiful formula as well. I really need to try that now. Me and Blush have a sort of love/hate relationship. It's just so hard for me to find a Blush that looks good and natural on my skin and doesn't bring out the natural redness I get, and that also has a good formula that's easy to apply and blend.

I love e.l.f make up, so I might try this next time, I’m pale yellow with combination skin. I love the revolution skin silk serum foundation and this looks to be quite similar.
