So happy for you and so happy for me too. I ate but I moved. Moving really makes a big difference. I didn't feel the burden of losing weight. I lost the weight without starving. I lost the weight and gained experiences, visited new places and had new memories. From 67kg at the start of 2023 to 58kg atm. Wew! Let's goooooo~

This is so nostalgic for me. In 2016 I lost so much weight in so little time too. I think I was size US 6 to 8 then i dropped to size 2 or even 0 in a matter of 2 MONTHS!! Ang dahilan: NASAWI AKO SA PAG IBIG! Hahahaha! Noon kasi imbes na umiyak ako, nag work out ako. I went trekking. I travelled. Now that I'm married, I'm back to size 8 and even 10. LOL! But sabi pa ni ate Raiza, ano man ang size, size 0 or size 10 man, i love myself. That's what's important.

Just to share, I did yoga daily, switched to Mediterranean diet (fruits, veggies, salads, fish, sometimes chicken). And lost the weight as well. YES! MOVEMENT helps a lot kasi hahanapin talaga ng katawan mo. Same here, nagulat din ako when I suddenly fit a size small when I try on clothes.

I used to be 45kg as a 5’0 now I’m 56 :(( I would always hate myself for eating alot but would get stressed out if I don’t eat enough. I’ll do my best to incorporate movement everyday!
If you enjoy the physical activity, it helps a lot to maintain it as it does not feel “working out”. Me, i learned tennis and to enable me to play well, i added slowly some weight training and from 5lbs dumbbell i am now using 10lbs. My day isn’t complete if i dont move. I also do 30 mins walk/jog. I think i did not lose so much weight but i became stronger and my body looks better, toned and proportional.

I started getting serious about my health and trained for a race. That’s what jumped started my weight loss. I lost 30lbs in about 3 months bc of the training schedule. I continued to lose weight afterwards. I wasn’t dieting or doing heavy exercise but I was still losing weight. I kinda thought it was because of my lifestyle changes. Towards the last few months I dropped weight pretty quickly. I decided to do some blood work and realized I had an overactive thyroid. Something really common with women in their 30s. So anyone looking to lose weight, I recommend getting blood work done prior to make sure you’re okay. I’m now working with my dr to normalize my thyroid levels.

Thank you for sharing! Looking back, I don't worry about my weight when I was a student coz I am physically active. Eating every 2-3 hrs was never an issue for me. Now, fasting makes me gain weight even more. Such an inspiration ❤

Based on your kwento, what made you lose that much weight in 2 months is the little amount of food that you were taking in, which is almost always the case with weight loss. Exercise is good for cardiovascular health but most of the time it doesn’t burn as many calories as we think. We just need to eat till we’re almost full. I lost 20 lbs in 20 days doing this.

Losing weight os easier for someone who doesn't have a corporate job. Yung walang 8-5 or more na working hrs or nasa office/workplace. Yung hindi need gumising ng napaka aga para hindi masyadong makipag agawan ng jeep every commute.
you can start with weekends. or 10 minute workouts at night. 10 minutes wouldn’t hurt. little sacrifices like reducing 10minutes screen time and converting it to something more value adding

So proud of you, ate rai! I also heard about this from a nutritionist, na you consume based on your daily activity. Before, I don’t eat at night, and I don’t eat rice or even meat. I also tried IF and low carb but it did not work for me as well, and intense working out because sweating makes me breakout and feel extremely tired. But now, I move every day, and I eat light, and I also slowly turn my diet into a clean-lean diet to be more healthy and sustainable. Proper sleeping also helps a lot, and always drink water! Home-cooked meals are much better than fast food. Love and appreciate yourself; it will take some time but always prioritize YOU. 🤍

Pag abrupt weight loss, minsan causes lots of falling hair. 2 lbs a week weight loss is good and to avoid too much flab. 30 min work out , 6X/week is sufficient.

True this binawasan ko langng konti yung kinakain ko and made sure to exercise everyday for 20 to 30 minutes lang and i lost weight but slowly bumalik kasi napalakas ulit kain ko and nawala yung exercise ko. Because of this I’ll go back to what i used to doing to lose weight again and for healthier body na rin. ❤❤❤

I would suggest eat first your protein and veggies , when full eat rice and sweet minimal lang. yung iba they never eat rice with protein

Pag abrupt weight loss, minsan causes lots of falling hair. 2 lbs a week weight loss is good and to avoid too much flab. 30 min work out , 6X/week is sufficient.

True this binawasan ko langng konti yung kinakain ko and made sure to exercise everyday for 20 to 30 minutes lang and i lost weight but slowly bumalik kasi napalakas ulit kain ko and nawala yung exercise ko. Because of this I’ll go back to what i used to doing to lose weight again and for healthier body na rin. ❤❤❤
