Very imaginative and hilarious video! The beginning is cut off, unfortunately. The note blocks version was brilliant! 😂 My favorite versions are Petrov, Filipec, and Yi-Chung Huang. Petrov has such a thick and juicy sound, especially that rolled chord at 1:50! 😋 Huang’s playing is amazing, although that fumble at 0:34 was painful to watch 😰 But there’s no contest, Filipec is the best by far. Unbelievably clean and stylish, and perfect tempo: not too slow, but not rushed. I don’t think it’s realistic to try and play this piece at the tempo that violinists play the Paganini Caprice no. 1. You can do that with the S 141 version, which makes more sense because that version is much closer to the Caprice.

@@Jartiousyou make really good vids😁 TH-cam should really allow pinning more comments I think that would be immensely helpful
Yes, I did slow some of them down just to make the tempo more regular. Yi Chung huang's recording was nearly light speed!
Bro actually included a MC Noteblock cover
you missed the most legendary J C's performance
What does jc stand for so I can search them up because I don't know of that performance. Or is this an ironic joke?

yi chung is the only one in live competition i think so thats neat
@@ryzikx yi chung huang is the reason we separate the player from the person lol
@@ryzikx Indeed! I haven't seen a live recording of Filipec playing it.
@@benharmonics Yeah my fav is Filipec's too, but his was a studio recording so of course it's gonna be better
