The 1830 on the Kershaw blade is the model number, not the type of steel.

I have, I have, I don’t currently have one though. After completing this video, I went and bought the tool to clip the clip over and the screw in the knife stripped. So…..still a good knife, but maybe I understand now why it’s so cheap and the benchmade isn’t.
