  • 68 Miners and a Ton of Gold - In the summer of 1897, sixty-eight miners arrived at the port of Seattle with more than a ton of gold, sparking a rush to the point of discovery - the Klondike. This documentary compares and contrasts the Great Klondike Gold Rush of the late 1800's to modern day gold prospecting in the last frontier; Alaska.

Join a club, ask questions. Look and talk to others about equipment and techniques.
Check land status where you intend to go, be mindful of someone else's claimed property.
Have fun, who needs a gym when you're a gold miner 😊

Maybe for TH-cam members viewers needing knowledge of why the cutting ties with GPAA, a video should be produced explaining everything. Then explain where you intend to go and why. We never met, but the Western States Public Lands Association's "People for the West Campaign" hired me (I worked as a volunteer for a couple of years), as the first Utah/Colorado Field Coordinator. When my replacement was working with me, Drew Bower, she said you wanted to meet me which we never did. Maybe someday we will meet with a TH-cam video for the new TH-cam channel being built: Tracy & Michael's Dowsing Adventure. I have reverse engineered the physics used in physical on-ground dowsing with the modern light weight ball bearing dowsing rod. It is the same physics used with the electronic gold metal detector. The name of the book is: The Art of Dowsing - Separating Science from Superstition ($14.95), by Michael Fercik. I hope you are safe and healthy while having a good day.

The year i finally had the $$ saved to do the Expedition, it got cancelled. What ever happened to Cripple River? And is there any possibility of the Expedition happening again?

      Good question.
I thought he was done with GPAA and Cripple creek was history too.
Now all these videos are popping up.
Maybe the new Gold Rush is TH-cam revenue?
