I was going to ask a question about that. Does anyone know (or remember) how much gold everyone used to pull out of the ground in the first year or so of Gold Rush? It seems a lifetime ago since they were getting excited at a tiny bottle of golden grains
Dude he was handed 100 grand from grandpa and given proven ground from Tony to mine for years. He’s average. He was gifted most of his success. He works hard maybe but he was handed TONS
@@kenjohnson1041sure but he could probably retire in a few years with probably at least a million saved and have his daughters whole life taken care of for her to go to college or do whatever she aspires to do.

Parker was gifted land that I had been proven and tested. Todd went to try to find land on his own. I don’t think either is great personally. Todd has his own issues but Parker is still no great businessman. Money and help does mean something it’s obvious you don’t know much about business if you think otherwise. We have a business that has been running for 47 years. I never once said Todd was better than Parker. I’m just saying Parker had most of what he has handed to him. Go try to start a mining business with nothing then go with 100 grand from grandpa and a mentor like Tony giving you proven ground to run. Discovery didn’t give Todd land that was proven to mine so that’s not the same type of help. You can’t compare that to Parker’s help because the good proven ground means the most. I rest my case.
discovery really doing the most to make drama where there should be any. the sd500 is rated for 330tons an hour and 2900 gallons a minute if you run it in spec and dont try to push an extra 100gallons a minute it runs totally fine.
That’s why I prefer Aussie gold hunters. Although the mechanical problems and make believe life and death situations are still shown, you at least get to see some real prospecting with metal detectors and the occasional big nugget discovery.
I wacth parker when he was young at mining guiding by his grandfather... And graduating while working in gold mine and the peter in nugget mine... With his grandfather 👍👍
I remember seeing Parker starting off with his GPA the very first episode. Some times he can be a bit hot headed, ride and disrespectful but Parker is my favorite gold hunter. He definitely knows what he's doing, has a good head on his shoulders and obviously is a good business man. I'd love to work for him lol.
Have to give Parker credit, he a driven, hard working, smart young man...got that start in his Grand Pa's, family's mine and has never looked back...he's earned, all the success he's gotten, congratulations
I like the comments here. Parker is the main man so he gets all the praises as if he is working alone. Yes his got money but he is having a crew which works hard. Big bang theory yes Sheldon was the main actor but the comic book store Stewart was as funny as hell.
From learning the trade from his Grandpa, to be about as good as their is at it...Its been quite the transformation Parkers business has accomplished....
Remember when Parker was still in High School and rode his little trail bike over to the Hoffmans. "What Ya'll Trying To Do?" Ha. Later Momma laid down the law about when he could mine.
I remember 10 years ago EVERYONE was hating on the 'ugly kid'! 90% of the people.. And I couldn't figure out why.. Now, the haters are gone because they see what some of us saw back then in Parker.

I’ll save yall some time they wanted to upgrade the nozzles. Parker turns it all up Mitch turns it back down and replaces the nozzles they were going to do anyway weigh some gold and drink some beer. 😂
Not everyone knows what the specifics are to run the equipment properly. And those who say that it's drama apparently have never been in drama. I hope Parker's grandpa is looking down and he's proud of him
Is Parker able to sell any of the material they wash or is there even a demand for washed stone? I just had to buy a 23 ton load of modified rip rap. The price went up $5 a ton this month. I called around and was getting prices anywhere from $600-950 for a tri-axle load. 2yrs ago it was $300-350.
Gold mining permits and gravel mining permits are different. You could do that, with the right paperwork. Most of the cost of gravel is dictated by the expense of processing and trucking it.
The problem is when it comes to reclamation and having enough material to fill the cuts back in. They use the tailings around the claim for road building, berms and dams.
Them guy's laughing about having the 2 wash plants side by side.....bet reality will be 2 new plants and 40 more employees cause Parker knows the gold does no good being in the ground. Only costs are overhead from this point forward and that can be handled in 1 day per month from 4 plants.
in addition,it's pretty worked up,they mentioned that it got an overhault/maintenance break. also, the water-solution doesn't allow the 2 plants side by side.
Parker is doing a fine job for where he mines. They talk about what an incredible season he had (and he did). Just keep in mind that the biggest gold mine in the world South Deep Gold Mine in Africa produces 300,000 oz. of gold in a year. Different scale I know but just think 7000 oz vs. 300,000.
Parker reminds me of my brother-in-law who lives in Wyoming. Out of high school and a stint in the Navy, he had no desire for college, just a mind for taking calculated risks and making money. Builder, land developer and cattleman. Works very hard with a gift for making money. It’s like Parker. Intuitive and thinks somewhat different than most on a social level. I enjoy the guy but basically a one track mind. I cannot quite understand the way he thinks and I’m guessing it is because he is somewhat like Parker, Elon, and Bezos; only a quieter low profile man with no airs or desire to be recognized for his success. Very interesting these guys. Maybe even savants. Don’t know.
I don't know what more Parker can do to claim the title from Tony as the King.Tony needs to have several wins in a row, then have a miracle George Foreman Knockout to claim the title and then keep it. He hasn't even been a contender for almost 4 seasons. Parkers to break 7K of gold this season. A 13+ Mill. season he can pay off 70% of the new claim and expenses/crew and have a running start on next season. No royalties to Beets & free and clear by next season.end.
Still , the system of finding the gold is primitive, I can design washing plant that is more fault free .I do sell the design if they are interested and want to invest
