Fragile Paper Box Canvas

Leandra uses Brayered tissue paper to make a multi-layered flower for a box canvas covered in book paper. Wooden and metal bellies are coated with Fresco, dry brushed, and tickled with Treasure Gold Metal wax.

Thank you for sharing your techniques and ideas. I'm really enjoying these videos. You are very easy to listen to and explain everything you are doing, I appreciate that. The papers so far have turned out beautifully. Hopefully I can try this in the future (when I get my craft room sorted!). PS: what colour is your nail polish?

rDinx I don't know the colour of the nail polish, its one of those gel ones. Think daughter took it back to uni with her since!

This is gorgeous. I always come away so inspired by your videos. When you use a brush for tickling the Treasure Gold, how do you clean the brush after? Thanks.

Hi Bonnie, I don't clean the brush, just scrub it on Paper towel, then if there is any excess TG left in the brush, as the solvent evaporates, the metal powders just drop out of the brush. I keep 3 brushes dedicated to TG, fine, med and large.
