I just came home from a Mixed Media class, and it was intimidating. During the class I wondered to myself if there was someway to use some of the stamps I have for doodling and Mixed Media .... and you just showed me the way!!! Thank you for this enlightening video! I also appreciated you suggestions as to how to evaluate the purchase of a stamp set. Very good! Wish I had seen this earlier, could have saved myself some $$$! Thank you!
hehe, we've all done that same mistake of impulse buying. i too have spend many $$$ but have learned to move passed that. i wish you many hours of playtime with your versatile stamps which i'm sure you have in your stash. enjoy the process !
You read my mind! I love geo stamps way more than floral cutesy wording stamps and stencils. I use acrylic paint, watercolor,paint, and other ink mediums with my stamps and stencils to inspire doodling.

I'm late to the party for I just found you this last week or so. I'm fascinated with your artistic skills and abilities. Though you're not doodling so much in this video, I'm impressed with what you create and think that there is no way I could do that! However, I can stamp and I think that would be a good way to start. Thank you for all the inspiration that pushes me to keep trying.

Loved this video CeeCee. Like Jazzy JEC, I too love making backgrounds and then hesitate to do anything with them, sometimes it's coming up with something that suits the background colours, sometimes it's not really wanting to cover up the lovely colours, either way this is a really good idea! And I could also make some doodle starter stamps myself as I love carving into erasers to make stamps, saves money too. But some designs are much harder to carve and some are much bigger than my erasers (8cm x 5 & 1/2cm) - so for those I'll look out for these lovely Paper Artsy ones. Your videos often seem to give me a sense of freedom, of freeing up the idea generator when it's clogged. So thank you for that.

Hi CeeCee (I saw on one of your videos your email address was Catherine@...) Is Catherine your real name? My mothers' name was Catherine. I draw little flowers and leaves on every piece of scrap paper before I send it to the recycle bin... and I have an A3 page that I sit and practice my doodles on whenever I have to wait for something to dry and I cannot use the heat tool... but they all still look a bit like Frankenstein's monster trying to teach his bride to write!! But I won't give up... I am not a quitter... except for booze, gambling, bad men, arson, breaking and entering and robbing banks... I gave all of those up because the judge said if he sees me again he will put me away for life! 😊😊😊😊 And I don't think they'll allow my craft supplies in jail! 😊😊

I've already been making thin lines with glue (as wacky stencils for the gelli plate) but a lightbulb just went off! If I make my design in glue, let it dry, then lay it down on a layer of modge podge, I can make my own stamps!

Heidi Lilley-Just slow down the video speed by clicking the scalloped circle on the lower right side of the video. You can slow dowm or speed up videos this way. I do it all the time!
