Snack of the Week (Episode 49) - Birds Nest Drink

- Hi everyone. Every week I'll be posting a short video (midweek) showing you a new snack, treat or drink that you may want to take with you hiking or camping. They may not always be healthy, but they will be packed full of energy and hopefully give you a welcome morale boost (Important when you are running on empty)! Nothing serious, just a little fun and hopefully I might show you something you've not seen before.
Today's snack of the week is actually a drink from China called Birds Nest by Wonderfarm. I've heard of birds nest soup, but not a drink. This is something very unusual for me and I have no idea what to eggspect.... Am I raven mad to try this? Will it be tasty or will it fowl my mood? Would you take this with you when you go hiking or camping? Let me know in the comments below.

hmmmm I was surprised you were as “okay” with it as you were! Not tucking anyone’s yums, and I love lots of Asian cuisines but never had a lot of desire to try trad Chinese Med sort of things, and birds nest is… quite a thing
You mentioned how the fluid was very viscous that’s always been a hard one for me. If you can find it, could you compare this to an Aloe Vera drink? It’s also viscous but in a less weird way and the flavor is very nice especially if it’s chilled :3
It definitely wasn’t my thing 😳 Yes I can understand why you wouldn’t like the viscous fluid. I’ve tried aloe vera drinks many times and never had a problem with them. Always thought they were pretty good. No more birds nest for me 😊 All the best my friend 😊👍🏼
