@@atomdecay nice to see someone aprecciation of VOM polymeter rythms, in the song "with passion and power" at 2:14 you hear the triplet feeling then change it to straight 8 notes, with the guitar staying on that triplet groove but changing the drums feel it changes to a 3/4 if im not mistaken, then back to triplet feeling while the guitar stays the same, been 2 years since i stopped teaching music, but i remember that polyrhitmic groove. As a bassist beginner (I started just 5 months ago), it's crazy to see how easy and clean your slaps are in this bass. For me is insane because I'm learning in a 6 string bass and the slaps and double thumbs with 6 strings has been very challenging. Great job bro!

Been following you for years and you're an amazing death metal bassist. This is why Animals As Leaders needs a bass player! You adds so much to the overall sound but then lace in extra parts for the bass to come through and fittingly so, and not to overreach. This is sick.
I saw this live in a pretty small venue in charlotte NC. we screamed for 5 min straight for an encore and they played Cafo and the entire place erupted into the most intense moshpit i've ever beee in. AND I'VE BEEN IN LAMB OF GOD POSH PITS pre pandemic. They stopped after and were concerned about the crowd, i don't think they realized how much we cared

It’s hard to explain to people how awesome that high F string is on a bass. It’s not the range, it’s the timbre of an unwrapped string mixed with a bunch of chonky ones. I love extreme extended range basses! This 8 is so cool! And wicked shredding as always ❤
