Everyones body is different and 99 pounds is alot and she losted it the right way slowly and healty especially while gaining lean muscle. You go girl....keep it up
This comment may never get seen, but thank you for your honesty and inspiration. I am an overweight woman who is currently on WW and have toyed with the idea of going to CrossFit for a few months. I finally reached out to my local studio and woke up this morning telling myself I was going to go to the 5:30 class tonight. It’s 4:30 now and I have been watching videos about what to expect and this video gave me the courage. I’m going to change into my workout clothes and attend my first class in 59 minutes. Thank you for sharing your story!! 🤞🏻Wish me luck!
The medical aspects of this book made sense to me so I did the diet for the 14 days. I cooked more than I have ever cooked and ate more than I have ever eaten. But I lost 6.5 pounds and feel more energetic. I am very happy with the results. Click here to check *t.co/ollWhetOtu** .*
Is crossfit a good way to lose weight for beginners ? Mainly 14 year olds ? I am 14 and need to lose 90 pounds . I have come to terms that I need to lose weight .
Wow!!! Totally inspired. I love this story. DK, thank you for having the courage to do this. I am still trying to develop my human potential and stories like this help me to come out even more and not be so afraid of being vulnerable. Thank you, thank you! You are a champion!! Keep up the great work. You're also already a beautiful woman. Enjoy!
Very inspirational, thanks for sharing. I recently started crossfit and I know is so cliche but it really changed my life too. I look forward to the challenge and really celebrate when I can accomplish something that I thought my body would never be able to do. For me it has been a life change, not just a workout. I am more disciplined with my nutrition, sleep, alcohol consumption...etc.
I have been doing crossfit for almost 2 months, and i have already seen great results!, i havent lost any weight but I do look lean. I am glad to hear your story and congrats! Keep up the good work!.
This is great. I just started CrossFit 2 weeks ago! It is part of my fitness journey (100 Day Plan actually) so this has really inspired me. You are a legend.
I start with my cross fit coach today and I have been absolutely TERRIFIED.. girl you don't even realize how much comfort you just brought me. Keep smiling that beautiful smile, YOU are an inspiration.
Hi, I've been eyeing crossfit now for about a month. I weigh 330lbs. It terrifies me because, exactly like you said, there are very fit and beautiful people in the gym there. But the challenge of it, the crazy of it attracts me. Your story is so incredible and it gives me hope that I can do it too, even if I'm not as fit as those around me. Thank you for starting your blog, thank you for posting this video. Thanks!
Emily Westphal Stick with it Emily, Just go do you're thing and dont worry about others. Honestly that's the best thing I love about crossfit is everyone cheers on everyone and not stand there and look at yourself in a mirror like other gyms.
I love the way that you have presented your story with so much honesty. I think more people can relate to your situation than someone who was highly motivated from the start. As for being overweight when you start trying to work out and not being able to do the excersises properly: everybody I know is cheering on people in your situation when they see you in the gym. Maybe silently, but they have respect for you getting in there especially when you're feeling so self conscious. Rock it, girl!
I don't think I have ever left a comment on a youtube video ever but after watching this I just had to. I don't know Danielle but I am proud of her wish I could tell her. I am doing my first crossfit class on Friday (I've been obsessively watching/reading about crossfit and I think this just sealed the deal. Thank you Danielle!
Your story is super inspiring. I just started crossfit and right now I feel like I suck at all of the movements. Watching this video gave me additional inspiration to keep going. You keep up the great work!
Wow, I felt the same exact way about Cross fit, now its all I think about. There's always a way to challenge yourself there and with amazing people. As a community we are celebrated everyday and its amazing. I am going to most definitely get back to weight watchers because of your story ! This is so inspiring!
So inspirational. I just started my journey last week. I started with my foundations program last week and this week was my first week of working out with the class. I love it so far...such a supportive group of people. I have also adopted a paleo eating lifestyle. I am excited for what's to come! :)
very inspirational!! Thanks for sharing and continue ur journey into crossfit.. any advice for someone starting it? really inspired by everything i have read about it.
I smiled through this whole video. Danielle, you are infectious! I was a guest at my daughter's box. I was sore after one workout. I really want to do this. I am hoping to convince my hubby.
Hi, DK. Congratulations. its amazing that I found this... Its seems I am embarking on the same journey as you DK,.. Im live in Sydney, Australia and I am going to weight watchers and have just started cross fit. Whilst I'm only in my second week of crossfit, I feel that this is the right thing for me. I would love to follow your blog.
THIS WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!! Glad that she found something that she looks forward to and enjoys doing, which is what it's all about. CrossFit is addictive like that, in a good way. THIS IS SUCH AN AWESOME STORY!!! I will share this on my FB so hopefully others can be inspired. Glad to know there is another awesome person out there in my CrossFit family that's loving it like I do!!!!!!!
congratulations Really motivates me I've been xfitting for a year and a half but for the last 6 months I've been struggling mentally. I also have to lose 40-50lbs. Thank you for sharing your story.
When I started losing weight, I needed to lose 169lbs in order to be a healthy weight. So far, I've lost 18lbs. It's not much compared to how much more I have to lose but I'm am SO PROUD of it. All I've changed are some of eating habits. I feel like a slow transition to a healthier lifestyle will stick way better than diving head first into a super big change. I've been thinking about joining a CrossFit gym for awhile. I'm really nervous and excited. I'm excited to be more active, I certainly need to be. I'm nervous for a few reasons: 1. I'm fat. I jiggly. I will jiggly A LOT when working out. I'm self conscious about it. 2. I'm afraid someone might say mean things. I can definitely stick up for myself but gyms makes me feel like a fish out of water and someone laughing at me on top of that would just be horrifying. 3. I'm pretty sure I know NOTHING about how to properly use equipment. I'm kind of a know-it-all in a lot of things so for me to look like an idiot because I'm ignorant of something would be really embarrassing. I'm aware that these are all stupid reasons to not go to a gym. Even still, I'd be lying if I didn't say that these reasons still give me pause.
So happy for you, I have approx 100lbs to lose, I've been doing CF for 5 months now. I eat paleo and eat fats and meats pretty freely, I guess the next step would be WW. I am so inspired by you!
Is that book a book that you purchased? The one that has the cross fit workouts in it? Is it a beginners cross fit journal or something you created yourself?
There are books, but it is best to find a CrossFit gym near you to get started. When looking for one make sure you find one that has a start up program to teach you the movements properly.
Thanks for the advice! I have found one and they have beginners classes but I was trying to find a book to document the workouts etc...the book that she had looked very helpful. Do you have any suggestions or know of the one that she has?
I can agree with her im a 5'3 woman and i weight like 180 and started out at crossitflagstaff and i was uneven about meyself, but i loved it, and since my husbands military I moved and chouldnt find a crossfit place as good as crossfitflagstaff but I think i found them and starting out soon. cant wait : )
I have lost 5 lbs so far and its only been a week! i love all the books and tips and this is the easiest program i have been on in my life, thank you so much! Have a look at ==> www.weightlosswomen0nly.blogspot.com/ CLICK IT, HOPE IT HELPS!
Hello mcspotts, I actually stopped weight watchers this month. It was not for me. I am still doing crossfit and have just upped my sessions to three times a week. I'm looking into paleo, however just at the moment I'm concentrating on just eating 1200 calories per and becoming fit.
This is an excellent Weight loss green store tea supplement. I was losing an average of 1.5 pounds a week, and now, I''m losin 3-4 pounds a week! It was amazing!
+Elisss I've lost a great deal of weight, especially on my arms and legs. I might say that Weight loss green store tea is an amazing , but you must try it out to believe it.
Great story DK, Keep up the good work Never tried Crossfit as their isn't any venues local to me :/ But word of advice for you on the nutrition front. I am a personal wellness coach and my role is to work with people on improving their nutrition okay. Thing I notice about your story is that i feel you are doing something wrong with your nutrition. I think what it is, is that you aren't getting enough protein in your diet. and your intake of actual nutrition is low. Respond back to me please
Google the phrase Sweet Weight Shredder... It's awesome. This video is great but wait until you discover the nutrition plan taught when you check out Sweet Weight Shredder... My mom shred 7 lbs in one week.
Imagine shredding weight quickly? Well Sweet Weight Shredder did exactly that for me. Try it for yourself, just search the phrase Sweet Weight Shredder.
But her crossfit routine is probably comparable to little kids at the playground. Which means she doesn't take the lifestyle serious just search for fun fitness which why the average women love aerobics
CrossFit is not cheap. If she dropped, I can see why. Its not easy to sustain for long periods of time. I lost 70 pounds using Weight Watchers. My next goal in to join a local CF box.
Everyones body is different and 99 pounds is alot and she losted it the right way slowly and healty especially while gaining lean muscle. You go girl....keep it up
