SYMPTOMS OF A FAULTY ACCELERATOR PEDAL SENSOR: SYMPTOMS:

3.Vehicle does not respond if the accelerator pedal is pressed
4.Vehicle switches to "limp-home mode"
5.Engine warning light in the cockpit illuminates
ACCELERATOR PEDAL SENSOR FAULTY: CAUSE OF FAILURE:

2.Missing voltage and ground supply

I have this problem P2138 on an Opel Mokka 2015 1.4 140 ps (I changed the pedal, the cable that goes to the computer, and it still appears the same to me, can you tell me what could be the cause?? so far I have invested 1500 euros in parts , I also went to Opel and I don't know what the problem is 😞

I was hoping other people would have added comments. A friend with a Volvo has no acceleration, and can't figure out if It's because of the linkage, the sensor, or the shifter. And he has a Volvo repair shop.

My VW lost the gas pedal control after running through a water puddle.
I have been told it's never the pedal, but the connectors or wiring from the pedal to the computer. Right now it's being serviced.
If it's not that, his Volvo's MAF sensor could be dirty or bad as well.
