For WC, it seems that their Freez cool gel one comes only in fabric on the contact part. Which is a no for me. I have tried, "sport fabric" and "Ice Silk" both are irritating to me, becoming itch and hot. A problem I never had with the fake leather (I think) used in my Sony's headphones that I could wear for hours and for get they're there. I live in a hot and humid place. And although the silk felt cold to the touch they quickly heat up. My leathers don't feel cold, but they stay the same. I just found the Brainwayz perforated and considering trying those.
So grateful I came across this video! Was about to plug the trigger on a pair of Wicked Cushions. The AirWeave ear cups on the Nova 7 are too small for me. I previously had the Arctis 5 2019 and the size was perfect. Really wish I knew why the Nova 7 ear cups were made smaller.
Thank you for this. I just bought the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7 and the Brainwavs Micro Sued Cooling Gel Pads. Can't wait until they arrive. WickedCushions were not available where I live.
Thanks for the tip, I have the Arctis Nova 5X and the Oval Brainwavz do fit ok. It's a bit loose, but still no issue because the lip goes pretty deep. I guess other 110mm tall and 90mm wide pads will work. They also sound bigger and have more low end. Although the space for the ear stays pretty much the same, width and height wise.
thank you so much I knew it, people were overhyping this thing to a point where it really became lame. I hate dishonest reviewers, I have big ears and always wanted to know if the Wicked pads were a good fit for me.
I’m excited to try the Brainwavz. I got sold on WC’s thinking they would fit my needs but like you said, ear holes…. for something tiny.. and not human. Thanks for the review!
After a few months wearing the wc freeze I can say they are junk they are so stiff and the cooling gel doesn’t even work anymore... ended up swapping back to the stock pads just to be reminded how painful they are to my ear
God dammit, I wish I saw this video like 2 weeks ago, because i had the nova 7s and they were too small for my ears, bought the wicked cushions, which are as you said even smaller. I really wanted to like them but since returned them and now got the Hyperx cloud alphas. Now I have to get them again and try the brainwavz.
Yeah, the brainwavz make a lot more room for the ears. But you could have kept the Nova's. The brainwavz make them the same fit as the HyperX. But they are both great headsets.
I used the ones I purchased for the HyperX Cloud Flight Wireless. But if you go on Amazon and search Brainwavz nova 7 it should come up. The fitting "ring" is pretty flexible so I imagine you can "make" them fit lots of headphones with a little effort ;-)
My ears aren't "big" but they do stick out a little and I have very sensitive cartilage. But everyone is different. I bought both and the Brainwavz just felt better to me. The other ones look cooler, so I'm glad they work for you.
I'm the caregiver for my elderly father so I always go for the "cloth" style so I can hear if he needs me. Also, I'm in Florida. Everything is steamy down here. So I don't have any experience with the leather ones.
@@tecnoblix thanks appreciate the reply, was just worried about losing bass as the stock ones are not uncomfortable however you convinced me about the velours😂
@@tecnoblix Thanks great advice, brainwavz just came ,a little trickier to install but perfect, sound signature in my opinion is the same .Never really liked the air weave pads,i find them a little scratchy.I think these are more comparable to astro a50s .👍
I have no idea. I got them for the Hyper X cloud wireless and they also happened to fit my new arctis 7's. They come in a couple of different sizes though. I'm sure there is a listing for them.

@@tecnoblix i already ordered them again and gonna compare them to the hyperx. I really want to like the novas :D Thanks again for the video
我到了這個品牌的官網,沒有只到支援Arctis Nova 7,請問您能分享購買網址嗎
Hey, I can't find the arctis nova 7 on the compatibility list of those earpads, just wanted to make sure that those are the correct ones?

How big are your ears? I have what I think are big ears and they fit better than the stock on my Arctis pads

is it safer to go for the leather ones ? bcs velour kinda warms the ear, no?

my man
Was wondering if theres any bass loss with velour pads on nova 7s non pro
I'm actually not sure. I didn't use them long enough with the original ear pads. But they sound great. If a little quiet.

Wicked Cushions are better than whatever you are reviewing. Wicked cushions is the best ear cushions ever
Do they fit the nova pros?
