    I finally quit drinking back in 2019, started praying my rosary daily back in 2020, met and married my wife in 2021. Very similar storyline where we moved near her family and I hated it but now I see it as one of the best things I’ve ever done. God bless you brother.

    The rosary helped me over come my porn addiction. It has fixed my marriage. Even my protestant wife converted. Removed my depression and anxiety. My family, friends, co-workers, and strangers tell me daily that I'm just full of life and happy. I love praying my rosary in the morning. I have a new fire for the Lord.

    It certainly sounds like the prayers of your Grandma and our Holy Mother Mary, through the Holy Rosary that was given to you by your MIL, led you to Jesus and His One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church. Praise God! I am a Catholic revert too (almost 9 years) and I, too, had a grandmother who was devout (prayed her rosary), whose prayers, I think, summoned our Lady to help me return to Jesus and His One True Church. The Rosary is powerful! Meditating on the mysteries of the Life of our Lord Jesus Christ and of the Blessed Mother converts souls, comforts us when we are weak, drives out heresies and vices, and hopefully, by the grace of God, keeps us humble. "There’s no problem, no matter how difficult, that the Rosary can’t solve."
    Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us, and let us pray for the repose of the souls of all those dear grandmothers out there who faithfully prayed their rosaries to help convert the souls of their family members!!

    I pray often that more men would decide to lead rosary rallies outside their Churches. I think the men need to be on the offensive with our faith rather than wait for things to get *that* bad. As a woman I understand that I cant say you "should do this" to my husband, but there is nothing more manly to me than expressing our faith publicly with Mary's guidance.

    For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus - 1 Timothy 2:5. It is not biblical to pray to Mary or through Mary or pray the rosary. There is one way to God and that is through Jesus Christ and not Mary. Repent of this idolatry because we are to have no graven images or false gods before God.

    • @d3v15
      @d3v15 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      @@imliampattison The Rosary is literally scripture. In 1 Timothy itself, St Paul urges intercessory prayers. 1 Tim 2:5 does not in any way discourage intercessions. Maybe read Scripture in context? What does 1 Tim 2:6 continue? “For there is one God; there is also one mediator between God and humankind, Christ Jesus, himself human, who gave himself a ransom for all -this was attested at the right time.”
      ‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭2‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭
      Christ Jesus is the one and only mediator who gave himself as a ransom for us! Indeed so true! Mary did not do that. But Mary, the Saints, you and I are all mediators to God too. Mediators who DID NOT give ourselves as ransom!
      If I preach the Gospel to a non believer and bring the knowledge of Jesus to him, then I am the mediator between him and Jesus. A mediator is an intermediate, peacemaker, negotiator. Someone who solves disputes between two parties. And non believers and God are in a dispute with each other because of sin. When I bring Christ to a fallen man, I become a mediator between him and God. But, a mediator who did not die as a ransom.

      You have no authority to interpret the Bible 😂

    • @imliampattison
      @imliampattison 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ActiveVirtue It is foolish to think that only one man/pope can interpret the bible for you. The pope is not God and is sinful as well. This is why Jesus rebuked the Pharisees for their man made religion bit inwardly they were far from God. Jesus never said the way to God was through the pope. Not to mention the pope is a Freemason. Look into it. Humbke yourself and truly ask God if He is pleased with your ways.

    Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. - Philippians 4:6. Mary is not God so we dont pray to her. Mary was a sinner just like you and me and The Lord does not like inquiring of the dead. Jesus is the way the truth and the life. I am saying this because we are to only go through the blood of Jesus and no man or woman. I pray the Lord will convict everyone reading this and show you the truth.

    • @d3v15
      @d3v15 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@imliampattison The Lord failed to convict me, Pope. What to do now? And no one thinks Mary is God. Stop spreading wilful lies on Catholicism. Mary is not dead, she is in fact more alive than us, because those who die in God’s friendship never die. Mary was not a sinner because God through His grace alone preserved Mary from sin to bear the Son of God. The salvific grace of Jesus kept her free from sin from her Conception. Yes, Jesus is the way, truth and life. And He is the one mediator. Praying to Mary does not take away any of these.

      @@d3v15 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. - Luke 1:46-47. If Mary was sinless then why does she need a savior? If Mary was sinless why was it necessary for Jesus to come into the world and live a sinless life and die for us? Something that no man or woman could do, not even Adam.

    • @d3v15
      @d3v15 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@imliampattison yes something than no man or Adam can do, and that is why Jesus did it for Mary. Don’t you understand the greatness and fulness of God? Why do you put God in a box? Is God limited to Scripture? Is He limited to your way of thinking? Can’t God do anything He wishes or desires? Isn’t God the Omnipotent One? God, saved Mary from sin! Mary is a human who without this extraordinary grace of God, would be a sinner like you and me. But Jesus, before He was conceived in Mary’s womb firstly saved His Mother! She is the firstborn of all creation to be saved by Jesus. Mary was preserved from sin at Her conception in Her mother’s womb. This is purely an act of God and through His grace alone! This was the will of God that His Mother be free from all sin. St Paul compares Jesus to the New Adam and in the same way it is proper to say that Mary is the New Eve! Both the Old Adam and the Old Eve were in fact created without sin, yet they chose to sin! The New Adam and New Eve again were created without sin but they obeyed God! Don’t you see that the Old Adam and Old Eve were created without sin but they, out of their own choice sinned? God created the Old Adam and Old Eve without any taint of sin? Why would He not do the same for the New Adam and the New Eve? Don’t put God in a box, bro

      Where does it say in The Bible "Mary is a sinner, just like you and I"? It says she is "blessed" and "full of grace". How could that be possible if she is a "sinner just like you and I"? Are you "full of grace"? lol And citing the verse "All have sinned" doesn't help bc we know there are exceptions (such as Jesus), and it also says that "it is appointed to each man to die once", but we know for a fact that several people in the Bible were taken straight to heaven, without death.
      Mary literally bore God inside of her. God incarnated Himself inside of her, they shared life and nutrients and physical space with each other. God did not need a uterus to incarnate Himself. He could have materialized out of thin air, come down on a space ship, or appeared as a talking fireball up in the sky. But no, He chose Mary because she is "blessed" above all women, and she is full of grace, and even angels address her with "hail", which is a universal royal greeting, and they did that with no other person.
      You can think whatever you want about intercessory prayers to Mary, but the silly claim "Mary is just like us" has to be up there among those things that can be called laughably absurd.
