Sound went for me too a few times. You can always just re load the game and it comes back. Did for me anyway. It got bugged after I had died so many times lol.
Using the Prayer Chant - Jabera to the Poison of Jealousy absolutely wrecks this boss. Do it when he stands still to summon his goons to help him and he'll just stand there in a cloud of Maisma poison damage. Rinse repeat a few times and he'll be done in no time.
I feel a bit better seeing I'm not the only one who struggled here. This boss basically forced me to go through every location I'd already been in and grab every upgrade possible, and even after all that I was still losing half my health every time I got clipped by one of those waves. I think the fact that you get a Prie Dieu and a warp just before the boss room, PLUS you have to fight him early in the Sea of Ink to get a handle on his moveset, says a lot about how hard this one is.
i found him ridiculously easy for his placement in the game especially after benedicta who was a real struggle. the early fight i was able to beat him first try hitless.

It's all about patience...also if u haven't (which I didn't pay attention to) is use altarpieces and resonances...finding the ones that work for u makes a WORLD of difference in the game!! Im also finished it. Haven't had time to get back into it. Hopefully this weekend
This boss just manages to be one of the most annoying bosses I've ever had to deal with in a game. Summons adds. Teleporting tracking, and a very fast hit to the face. You should be able to dodge through the waves, nope gotta jump em
@@hmmmm..hmmmmhmm6683 the flame boss next, puts attacks you gotta jump and dodge through so close you don't even land back on the ground and you can only air dash once. I always get hit by the 2nd flame
Just beat this guy finally! My personal tips. Buy the Debla of the lights prayer. It destroys his summons and does major damage. And then equip the scribe altarpiece. When he summons use the prayer and by killing his summons and damaging him, it will regenerate. This you can just spam it pretty effectively.
They are and anyone who says otherwise is either bullsh*ting or is just a bedroom dweller and these games are all they do. Never been so stuck on any of the b1 bosses and have been on multiple b2 bosses.
@@DesolateSolaceI actually had a lot of trouble with b1 bosses but have 1-2 tried most bosses so far in b2. Can't explain it, I didn't even finish b1, I got frustrated like 70% through and didn't pick it back up. For some reason b2 is easier for me
For me personally, I think replaying through B1 right before picking up this game kinda is what made 2 feel harder. My muscle memory was just used to Mea Culpa, which they split the abilities of between the 3 new weapons in this game. Also losing the midair hit jump in trade for the air dash is something else to factor in. Having to angle Sarmiento and Centilla is also kind of a nag.
I finally did it buffing the fuck out of my Ruego Al Alba. Extended blood pact, increase damage and leveled all the way up to 3. I was stuck on this guy for 3 days. I think your prayer is buffed when blood pact is active

I wrecked this boss using the statue combo, "The Demented One" and "The Partisan" while he was summoning his minions, I'm taking it as a chance to make a combo till he die
For me this Is so far the worst boss in the game. In his First encounter he uses EXACTLY the same attacks he uses in his boss Battle (except the Minion summon), the design feels quite uninspired to me and the Minion summon Is Just a horrible mechanic. This Is the only boss in the game that i didn't enjoy fighting . Absolutely 2/10 for me. Hope the next ones are good as the previous
I hate recommending cheese strategies because every fight in the game mostly revolves around skill and not rng, but use the poison miasma cloud spell called Jaebra to the Poison of Jealousy it melts him.
@@DJmag01 it's hardly cheese, you have to work to bait him into it, dodge all his attacks still. I got it soon enough but only because I knew his parry patterns well enough to finish the fight with no health left.

Odon, in my opinion, is the most hateful of the Blasphemous bosses, it really took me a long time to beat him... those damned fucking headless zombies... and when I won I exploded in a riot of insults shouted at him and all his brotherhood and middle fingers against the screen. In the first chapter, like similar difficulties and amounts of hatred, there was only Esdras. The only one I even had more trouble with, but it was an interesting fight, was Eviterno, several hours of play later.

His attack pattern isn’t that hard to memorize, I’ve got all available upgrades, and for the most part he’s incredibly slow. WHY HAVE I BEEN STUCK ON THIS BOSS FOR TWO HOURS???
This boss is WAY to difficult. I really don't see why 3-4 hits shuold be enough to kill you, yet his patterns only allow you to safely hit him every now and then. Look, I don't mind difficult bosses near the END of the game, but something that's this level of difficulty when you still have a significant amount to play through is just absurd. I don't mind a challenge, as long as it's fair. This boss isn't fair in the slightest.
Any boss fight that adds minions automatically makes it a shite boss for me. It just shows that little effort was put into making it good. Which is sad because without it it’s actually a solid boss Honestly I think I might uninstall the game cause wow is this just bad

They've buffed the bosses because alot of people complained about the game being to easy. Eviterno is a goddamn nightmare nowadays

A tip I myself wished I learnt earlier, He's weak to Poison/Miasma damage, capitalize on it with the Poison prayer and veredicto poison ability
