Quick video today checking out a few Game Genie codes in the 3D NES emulator.

Codes in this video:
1. INTOAS - Weird level code that mixes up blocks and makes them scattered all ove the place.
2. NAGLAG - Run full speed and pull backwards for a Naglag.
3. PIGPOG - Classic code that spawns random enemies and objects everywhere.
4. TOILET - The poo code. Makes turds fall from the sky when you hit a brick as small Mario.
5. ZYYUUV - Rains coins and spawns random enemies that behave strangely.
6. YZZENO - A weaker "all bad guys throw hammers" code. Makes platforms, firebar blocks and castles throw hammers.
7. YEAAAA - The classic corruption code. This makes us happy.
That color palette of "shades of red" near the end with the YEAAAA code combined with the 3D effects really looked like Virtual Boy...like a lot.
YEAAAA transcends all time and space.

You should record the music code music and upload it to your channel
4:39 this is what happens when you let missingno make a game genie code
No, that’s what happens when you let missingno *BE* a game genie code
You need more subs and congratz on 10k my dude
3:43
Mario: *uses platform*
Platform: I'm about to end this man's whole career
Imagine playing with YEAAAA while on acid
It's nice to know yeaaa still works, that 3d corruption is trippy as hell
The 3D version is so cool
I've been subbed this this channel for like.. 3 years at least, I think. Love your content, always a pleasant surprise to see when you most. :)
So many matrix references in all these videos. The ONE movie to have been an extreme cultural hit in a time where such movies were never seen before.
"POOPIE" is a fun one. It corrupts at random, which gives an added challenge.
The problem with the implementation of patches is that 6 letter codes simply don't have as much effect as they should. They can be overwritten in some cases. Codes that freeze RAM locations to a single value won't work.
dude, you made me laugh when i was not in the mood to laugh....you earned a sub from me
In YEAAAAA I heard "The corruptions where milks" "The corruption makes this happen", "The corruption makes us low", and "We have all the time to walk"
I'd be willing to get the strength of the game genie codes are due to how the emulator renders things. The original game genie worked by modifying the contents of ROM in real-time; modifying those contents in the game rom should perform the same effect. The better method of doing this would be modifying the memory map in the game.
this is gonna be interesting
As far as I understand, every NES emulator processes things slightly differently, so most likely it is not a problem with the Game Genie Guy program, but with the accuracy of the 3DNES emulator.
Congrats on 12K
There's no doubt that 'YEAAAA' is a trippy code.
With PIGPOG, going through pipes just brings you back to the start of the level.
It's impossible to have a perfect Game Genie patching tool for NES ROMs bigger than 32K PRG since bankswitching can put segments of ROM into different addresses. SMB1 is easy since it only has a single 32KB PRG page.
3:50 Look out beloooooow!
Cjpunkrandall07 AKA Cj lol yes
With TOILET, when you see it, everything shits bricks!
WELL SAID SIR... well said.
Heya killgruz!

KillGruz, I have a video idea since it seems you're getting back into Game Genie videos, I thought it would be fun to see a Gameboy Game Genie video. It's your channel but I think it would be cool to see it.
I used to have one but this bastard Josh kid stole my Game Boy and all my games and stuff. Still makes me mad to this day. **punches hole in wall**
killgruz Sorry to hear that.
SOLUTION:
Use an emulator
Omg this video is so cool. Subbed
Never clicked on a video so fast
drinking game idea! drink when he says game genie
Dat intro music killed me XD
in Mario bros 3 i discovered a code ttagee: corrupts enemies movement and when there is a powerup or some enemies on screen
yeaaaa = Drunk Mario on drugs
Guy sounds like a first grade teacher.
Also YEAAAA seems to work because it modifies the ROM's header in the stack section [Indirectly because of Bank Switching.] (A tiny bit before it but close enough to cause major issues.). The other sections it modifies don't do anything really. But the modified ROM stack throws the game for a massive loop. This causes everything to break down randomly. So yes. YEAAAA will corrupt. Always.
YEAAAA, buddy!
Itsa me Maroo!
so i was fiddling around with gaysuk and came up with gayuki this actualy plays the unused gameover theme when you hit a block with a mushroom in it.. sometimes, it depends on how you hit it, most of the time working from hitting it from a standstill, but when it triggers, for now on when you hit a block the theme will play again and delete the block, just dont collect the mushroom tho..
2:15 It gets me every time! 🤣
You made me laugh, you get a like.
new creepy pasta called : corruption makes us happy.
What did he make the firebar say at 3:47?
If you want the code to be exactly the same, patch it yourself! It's really not that hard with fceux:
1. Decode the game genie code
2. Open the hex editor
Repeat the following with each rom addres
3. Go to view>rom file
4. Go to file>goto address and type the address
5. Type the value (in hex)
Hey Gruz, what version of the 3dnes emulator did you use? There is also now a 3dSen emulator thats a newer version, but it doesn't support glitchy games or custom games, which sucks
This video corrupted my corruption
Gosh what a good idea.
You should do this, but with SMB3 instead
Here's a secret. Moving platforms are the enemy. Bowser isn't the enemy, moving platforms are the enemy.
INTOAS = MOTORS! No joke! I tried MOTORS and it has the exact same effect!
Have you ever considered what these codes did to duck hunt?
Take a shot every time he says "Game Genie"
The intro was so funny
@ 4:37 reminds me of the humanoid enemies from System Shock 2.
I'm just going to ask now but do you have a link or any way of getting to your original website from GeoCities? If not then thats alright but if you do it would be really awesome seeing an old website based on something I like.
Also been a long time fan :)
awesome video!
FCEU is an emulator that can decode game genie codes into hex and edit it to the ROM file.
YEAAAA this is awesome!
That....Was.... AWESOME!!!!! YEAAAH!!!
4:36 Killgruz from Neptune is talking
2:41 'TOILET' LOL
Have you ever done ZEANLY?
*If I had a dollar for every time he said Game Genie*
I found that 3D nes program myself it's very nice ^_^
I knew YEAAAA would appear here.
Is there a code called killgruz in any game?
