I remember the feeling when I rode my 2022 RT Sea-to-Sky home and I still can't put it into words. It is my first ever motorcycle. I hope to take it out of winter storage this week to start my third rYding season. And I just started a Facebook page as well as making short videos on my channel. Cheers Chris! Congrats on your purchase. I'm trying to hold off until May 11th; I'm signed up for the Can Am Demo event that day. Two Can Am dealerships in my area have the 2024 Sea-toSky RT (White) in stock. Thinking I'm going to miss out if I wait until May to purchase. Ride safe.
I'd give the RT and the F3 a spin. The F3 feels like you're sitting more in it while the RT it felt like you are on top of it for some reason. Everyone has their own likes and dislikes, but I'd take them both for a ride if possible.
@@keithchrysler3732 The place where I bought mine wouldn't let me take it for a spin. Said they were sued and don't allow it. I said, well if you want a sale you will let me take it for a ride. No way I'm buying anything without testing it first! Part of the process! Like these gun stores with trigger locks and won't take them off. Feel of the trigger is part of the buying process! No sale!

Thought you'd like to know after watching your video's I'm trading in my F3S for a end of line 2023 RT! I love my 2017 F3S but just want the comfort and flexibility of the RT package. Glad you're still enjoying your ride.
Congratulations on purchasing your Spyder. Remember that your target audience is interested in the Spyder. You can throw in sights and sounds you see while touring, but the focus should be on the Spyder. Observe for example how Coach Bob talks us through his travels. Good luck with the channel.
Great video and I love the idea of 3 wheels as I am getting older and holding up my GW is becoming more of a challenge. The problem is that I have never seen any of these on the road in Arizona, not even one. Here in Tucson, I am not allowed to test drive one as the dealership blames insurance problems. The only other dealerships in the state are the same company and have the same policy. Perhaps that's why I don't see any on the road. They actually have an excellent price on a '23 but to me, no test ride = no sale.
Hi, My partner is waiting for his 2024 Spyder RT Ltd to arrive in the UK. We took a 2023 for a test ride and found the steering very sensitive, as you reported. Found going around sharp corners very entertaining! When you have more miles on the bike we would be interested in any riding tips you can give. The video was a good mix of riding and interesting scenery, with perfect commentary. Keep up the excellent work and look forward to future episodes.

I have a 17 F3 and found you'll get used to the steering. This is my 3rd year on the spyder after about 50 years on a 2 wheeler. it's differant but is definately fun.
A Baja Ron sway bar and Elka stage 2 shocks will eliminate the twitchiness. But once you get used to riding it you may not mind the twitchiness. I’ve owned a Can Am Spyder RTL for two years, they’re great bikes.
I hit the horn and reached for the front brakes and was unsure of the Spyder at first. Also the touchy steering. Probably the 3rd time out I gained respect for the platform and got used to the controls, steering, and everything. Usually if I go out it's about a 2 hour ride to some place and back. I would still like more power though, I think the engine is under powered and should be an 1800 or so. I have a 2022 F3 Limited Special. Bought it used with 500 miles or so on it for 20k last year. One thing I don't understand is riding motorcycles for a few hours I would be exhausted at the end. On the Spyder, I feel like it takes more to keep it in a straight line as it wants to follow the road imperfections and leaning into the corners at high speeds I feel like I'm leaning and moving more but feel fine after a long ride. Don't get that. For this year, I just picked up a peddle box and sway bar to get ready for this year! Safe riding! Congrats!
None, nor did I test-drive the Spyder. After doing lots of research, I decided the Spyder was my choice. Harley makes a trike, but it didn’t appeal to me. There are custom built trikes, but I didn’t want to go that route. I wish there were more manufacturers of these kinds of motorcycles, but our choices are limited.
@@timgiles9413 there are some minor differences between the 2023 and 2024 models, with the instrument display being the biggest. For me, it wasn’t worth the additional price.
Because I have a motorcycle endorsement I have really looked into the requirements. But I believe a MC endorsement is needed here in NY. Not sure about the Slingshot.
The Can Am Spyder seems to be one of the safest ways to do business because it stops fast and does not hit hard and heavy. I recommend these for people concerned about rear ending or t-boning a family because the poor defenceless babies, little people, injured, disabled, and elderly need a better chance at life. Finally some sanity on the roads this is like the worlds animals and pedestrians waking up from a Hollywood blockbuster nightmare. Lets be human out there and if you don't need to take the big heavy vehicle for a joy ride don't, the crash is huge.

They are definitely less fatiguing than bikes.

How equipped are Can Am Tribikes? Do they have off-road mode?
There is one CanAm trike that claims to have some off road capability, and that is the Ryker Rally.
What model of GoPro do you have? Great video and audio quality😊
GoPro 10 (much lower price than the 12 and I didn’t need the updated technology), Purple Panda mic.

GoPro Hero 10. I just got it in mid March. Still learning it.

No, I’m happy with my Spyder even in the twisties.
