      do not add any fertilizer to your water or it will kill your leaves, You can add some after the leaves are growing above the water line

    Do you have to change the water? I also read to add fertilizer wrapped in paper and push down in soil to gradually dissolve

    I enjoyed this video very much. What’s the coldest temperature bonsai lotus will tolerate?

    • @Self-taught_Therapy
      @Self-taught_Therapy  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for the comment . Lotus can resist temperatures below 0 °C (32 °F) if they are covered with an insulating cover of water or soil. Lotus will die in winter and come back in summer. I hope this answers your question.

    I purchased lotus seeds on line but there were only 10and they came without being scarified like yours. Let me stress to anyone who is thinking of starting lotus seeds, that the scarification is a ton of work unless you use a sander. Can you provide a link as to where you bought yours?
